Chapter Fourteen
Battle between ministry officials and Death eaters!
At midnight last night the Ministry attempted to stage an ambush in the hope of capturing some of he-who-must-not-be-named followers. The attack took place near the village of Little Hangleton and left three Aurors in St. Mungo’s in critical condition and five seriously wounded.
The Ministry received information that the Dark Lord had been using a house close to the village as his headquarters. The ministry ambushed the house using several of its most prominent Aurors, only to have the servants of the Dark Lord creep up behind them. It resulted in a terrifying battle in the village’s graveyard leaving many Aurors injured.
During the battle the opposition used a massive variety of dark curses and hexes which are illegal and punishable by long periods in Azkaban. There are even reports of various Unforgivables having been used. The Ministry has made no statement on these events and there are no reports of any prisoners being captured. The whole episode seems to have been a massive debacle resulting only in the failure of the ministry and in its employees being injured. (Article continued on page eight)
