Chapter fourteen: Another Spy
Chapter fourteen: Another Spy
Amelia sat in the lounge room of 12 Grimmauld place with Remus Lupin. She had arrive a little earlier and was greeted by Remus. Molly was in the kitchen making tea.
“When you were teaching was it hard for you?” Amelia asked.
“Oh no, there were some difficulty but nothing to do with the students.”
“I expect it was with Sirius yes? This was the year that he had found out about him?”
“Yes.” Remus nodded.
“It was truly terrible how Sirius had died last year.” Amelia frowned.
“Yes, yes it was.” Remus nodded again.
“Harry does not seem to be distraught about it, but I do expect him to keep how he feels inside.”
“That is Harry for you. But he is and extremely good kid.”
“Oh absolutely.”
“I had heard about Ginny and Hermione from Harry.” Remus whispered.
“What about Hermione and Ginny?” Molly interrupted.
“Oh nothing Molly, just that they have been doing extremely well in class.” Amelia lied.
“Good girls, Molly smiled. “Here is your teas.” Molly gave Remus and Amelia a cup of tea each.
“Thank you Molly.” Amelia smiled.
“Yes, thank you Molly.” Remus added.
“It is my pleasure my dears.” Molly left the room.
“That was close.” Amelia chuckled.
“Indeed.” Remus chuckled along with her.
“I can not imagine how Molly shall react when she finds out that her only daughter likes females too.” Amelia took a sip of her tea.
“Neither can I, and I would not like to either.”
“Yes.” Amelia laughed. “I do expect that both girls will have a few problems. Ron has chosen to forget about both of them.”
“Ron is probably just confused.”
“I sincerely hope so.” Amelia sighed. “Hermione had come to me the day that she had told them. She asked me what to do.”
“How awkward.” Remus drank some of his tea.
“Oh extremely, I spat out my tea.” Amelia laughed. Suddenly right in front Severus appeared looking at them as they laughed. Severus!” Amelia stood up. Severus looked back and forth between them.
“Hello Remus.” Severus said, hotly.
“Hello Severus.” Remus put down his cup of tea.
“We were just talking about Hermione and Ginny.” Amelia whispered. She put her cup down too.
“Hmm.” Severus walked off into another room.
“Um I’m sorry about him Remus.”
“Do not worry. I am used to it.”
“You shouldn’t be though. He’s a little rude.” Amelia smiled.
“Yes, but once you have known him for as long as I have you can not help but dismiss him.”
“I suppose.”
“I see that he is taken with you.” Remus mused. Amelia blushed.
“I best go and talk to him. I shall talk to you later Remus.”
“Surely.” Remus smiled. Amelia walked out of the lounge room and walked in to the room that the meeting was once held in before.
“Severus.” Amelia sat down next to him.
“Yes.” Severus turned to her rather coldly.
“Are you jealous?”
“I most surely am not!” Severus spat.
“Oh bullocks.” Amelia scoffed. “It is not like I’m going to run off with a man that I hardly even know.”
“Yes, I suppose not.”
“Don’t be such a baby Severus.”
“I am not a baby.” Severus snapped. Amelia grabbed his head and forced a kiss upon his lips.
“Ahem.” Someone cleared their throat. Severus pushed Amelia away and saw Dumbledore standing there with half the order standing behind him. Amelia looked at all of them and smiled. Tonks stepped forward and winked at her.
“Don’t you ever do that again.” Severus hissed in Amelia’s ear.
“Why shouldn’t I?” Amelia whispered back.
“Do sit down.” Dumbledore told everyone, unable to hide his grin. Tonks walked over to Amelia and sat down next to her.
“I see that you have been able to tame the beast.” Tonks whispered.
“I do not know.” Amelia shrugged. “He is still a little beast.”
“I heard that!”
“Sorry.” Amelia laughed. The rest of the order sat themselves down at the table.
“I believe that you all do know why you are here?” Dumbledore still stood. Mumbles and nods came from the members. “Good. I want to ask you all what we shall do about this situation?”
“I think we should have her become a spy.” A man with a square jaw suggested.
“Is that not dangerous?” Amelia asked out loud, fearing being caught.
“My dear it does pose problems but Severus has been doing this for years. I do not think anything will happen to you, especially when you are his daughter.” Arthur Weasley insisted.
“Right.”
“Is there anyone else with any other ideas?” Dumbledore asked.
“I do not think we should let her get him. He will make her one of them,” Tonks stated. “Having someone of his own blood will make him stronger.”
“Nymphadora you may be right, but we must think of what will happen to Severus if he does not bring her, he may as well be caught out.”
“May I interject here? Since it is me we are talking about.”
“Go ahead Amelia.” Dumbledore motioned.
“Thank you. I would like to choose what I will do, if I may?” Dumbledore just nodded. “I want to go, I will not give in. I shall do anything to help defeat him. That is all I want.” Murmurs started to surround the room. Amelia turned to Severus and saw him give her a nod of approval.
“You do understand what you are doing Amelia?” Kingsly asked. “Your father is not a normal person. He shall do anything to get what he wants. Even kill you.” Amelia began to think back on her decision but she didn’t want to let Severus down. Severus moved his hand under the table and rested it on Amelia’s knee.
“I am willing to do what ever I can to help.” Amelia looked down. “He will not scar me.”
“You have chosen to do a very brave thing my dear.” Dumbledore smiled. “We shall admire you.”
“I do not want to be admired. I want to be safe, along with everyone else.”
“Very well my dear. You have your mother’s heart.” Dumbledore looked proud. Amelia felt glad. “Tea and biscuits all around Molly, and a touch of wine if we may too.”
“Absolutely.” Molly walked in to the kitchen. Amelia watched as some stood up and began to talk to each other.
“You will be fine.” Tonks whispered.
“I know.”

Amelia sat in Severus’ office correcting his potions homework with out him knowing. She had finished the first years pile and was halfway though the 2nd years. Severus walked in to his office and looked at her.
“I do wish you would not do that.” Severus took the quill out of her hand.
“Why not?” Amelia wondered.
“Because it is extremely annoying and you grade to easily.” Severus replied.
“Well I think you grade to hard. You needn’t be so mean to them Severus, they are only children.”
“Yes they are children that come to this school to be taught the right thing!” Severus snapped. “I am here to teach them the right thing, not let them off.”
“Fine Severus, fine. I was only trying to help.” Amelia pouted. Severus looked at her.
“I’m sorry.” Severus sat down in a spare chair. “We mustn’t let anyone know about us.”
“Why not?” Amelia asked, angrily.
“We must not let anyone from the order find out.”
“Alright, but eventually they must know. I do not need to hide my feelings.”
“Yes I do agree, but I think it best for the time being.”
“I suppose you are right there.” Amelia stood up.
“Where are you going?”
“To get some rest. I didn’t sleep at all last night.” Amelia walked in to his bed room. Severus hadn’t been annoyed by this. He never liked women sleeping in his bed. He stood up and followed her to see that she was already in bed with her clothes on, guessing that she could not be bothered to take off her clothes.
Severus took off his top cloak and vest. He neatly put them aside and got into the bed next to Amelia. Amelia turned around and cuddled him.
