Chapter 13: Rescuing Ginny

"Neville" said Roxy, still looking out the window. "Yeah?" asked Neville. "You want to show Ginny how tough you are?" asked Roxy, shrugging her arm out of the sling and stretching it slowly. "What?" asked Neville. "I said, your damsel is in distress and needs your help" replied Roxy. "How?" asked Neville. "Go outside, I'll meet you but first give me your wand" answered Roxy. "Okay" said Neville as he gave her his wand and left to go outside.

"Are you going to do what I think your going to do?" asked Draco. "Use all our wands to put them under the Cursatics, then jump out the window, run and get Ginny then run back and put up a protective bubble around the place, then yes that is what I am going to do Draco" answered Roxy. "Here Draco do the spell" ordered Roxy handing over her wand and Neville's. "Ummm, Roxy" said Draco collecting Fred, George and Ron's' wands. "That means we can only curse six of them". "I know someone left their wand here" replied Roxy holding it up with a smirk. "Whose is it?" asked Draco. "I'd say Coles, since he has stopped running and is looking for something. Curse everyone but him." Said Roxy snapping the wand in half. "Cursatics" yelled Draco pointing the wands out the window.

"I'll be back" said Roxy as she started out the window. "Roxy" called Ron grabbing her arm softly. "Be careful please". "I will" replied Roxy just as softly looking into his eyes as he released his hold on her arm.

*Outside*

"Mmmm, a little sore" muttered Roxy as she landed. "Neville, honestly you used the stairs?" asked Roxy with mock irritation. "Did you want me to go out the window?" asked Neville. "Yes, it's a lot more fun. Come on I need you to distract that guy" said Roxy as she pointed out Cole. "I'm going to run and get Ginny" finished Roxy. "Okay" said Neville his face contorting into a mask of fury as he looked at Cole before charging at him and knocking him to the ground.

"Hoooowlll" howled Roxy as she changed and ran under the magic lines, careful not to touch them as she ran in search for Ginny. After finally finding her, Roxy dragged Ginny gently by her arm out of the way of the lines of magic being given off by the Cursatics curse, careful not to bite her and start the change. After she finally got Ginny to safety Roxy changed back to Human form.

"Ginny, are you okay?" asked Roxy gently shaking her. "Roxy?" asked Ginny, slowly opening her eyes. "Yeah it's me, are you okay?" repeated Roxy. "Yeah" replied Ginny sitting up. "Good now let's g—"started Roxy. "Roxy! Behind you!" yelled Neville. "Oh no" said Roxy turning. Victor Krum had broken the magical tie of the wand.

Snap! "Take Ginny" said Roxy as she threw up her hands and formed a giant glowing call around the Burrow to make a barrier. "Roxy, no come with us" pleaded Fred. "No, I want to finish this" replied Roxy with a fire burning in her eyes as she changed back into her wolf form. Snap!

"Well, well, well Roxellda all alone I see" said Krum as he finally reached her. Roxellda snarled baring long, sharp, pointed teeth. "Now now, let's not be rude. I'm turning around and am going to count to 100 and you better have changed back by then" scolded Krum before turning his back to her. With his back turned and him yelling numbers out as he counted was all the chance Roxy needed to take him by surprise. He didn't know what happened until her teeth pierced his neck and she pulled back allowing blood to flow profusely from the wound.

"Roxy" called Lupin softly careful not to make any fast movements. "Are you okay?" Roxy changed back her face blank the fire in her eyes extinguished. "I don't know" she answered softly before collapsing.
