Chapter 13

Once they cross the portal Harry put his invisibility cloak concealing them both. Wands on hand they start walking and asserting the place. Everything looked gloomier and dark. A few paces more and they heard voices.

“The wards shifted, someone came through” Gaelel said. “Whoever it is aim to kill, I don’t want any delays I had waited too long to take her life force and powers.”

McNair, check but couldn’t see anything, but went to alert Avery about the intruder(s).
Going to the dungeons he stop and looked around again, the feeling of being followed was big, he fire a few hexed in every direction but nothing, so he continued descending.

Harry and Luna were following him closely but they have to wait until they have Emilia and Thomas on sight. Harry’s rage was growing by the minute but before his magic break loose Luna grabbed his hand and squeezed, it was comforting and soothing. He looked at her and nodded, he needs to focus his priority were the children, he will have time to deal with the scum later.

“Avery” he shouted from the middle of the stairs. “Over her” the response came from the bathroom nearby. “We have intruders, so come up here and help me out, the boss said aim to kill”

“Perfect a little action, I was going to crucio one of these kids to have some fun”

“Good that you didn’t do it, the boss would have been piss, and I for once don’t want one of his punishments”

“Sniff”

‘Who was that?” asked McNair, “That’s the girl she is getting sick, is good that she will be kill soon, annoying little bugger” said Avery.

Knowing that the kids were close, they decided to act upon it. Harry fired a stunner hex and then a binding one, to Avery, Luna sends a biding hex to McNair but he evades it easily sending a slicing hex to her missing by mare inches. She sends a stunner that hit the mark. Once their opponents were out and unconscious, they descended quickly the stairs.

“Emilia, Emilia” he shouted. “Papa” She was in a conner. Through the bars of the cell he tried to reach for her. “I will get you both out of here, stand back, set your shield up to protect you ok”

Coughing, “Papa I don’t know if I can do it” coughed again, “My angel you have to do it so I can get you out of here”

“Ok Papa” she said. “On the count of three, one, two, three, BOMBARDA”. Once the debris settled he run and wrapped his arms around his daughter, Luna was checking Thomas for injuries. Emilia’s coughing was getting worst with the dust.

Before they get out of the cell, three figures came to view. Clapping the demon said. “What a wonderful show, don’t you agree, Avery?” Emilia’s shield came up before Avery and McNair send hexes to them. Harry fired some while Luna help Emilia sustain the shield. Two fire balls from the demon hands were send to Luna and Harry Emilia put her hand up and shouted “Stop”, at that moment everything froze. Nobody was moving, panicking he went and touched her father and he move. “Emilia, my angel, are you ok? What happened here?” When he looked around everything was like suspended, the fire balls were mere inches from him and Luna.

“I don’t know Papa but they are not moving, even Luna and Thomas”.

“Ok, ok, don’t panic, what did you do to help me move” said Harry concerned and with his eyes on the demon and the Death Eaters. “I touched your cheek” she said frightened.

“I want you to do the same with Luna and Thomas, ready, now Emilia” she did as he order and Luna and Thomas were moving again.

A stronger binding spell was use on Avery and McNair, but Gaelel had to be destroyed so what Harry did was change his position putting him in front of the fire balls a little closer than they were; after doing that he levitated the two Death Eaters and make them go upstairs and once all were upstairs; he asked Emilia to move her hands forward to see if that make the things unfreeze. She did and in seconds they heard the screams of the demon as he exploded.

They only have a few minutes to find the portal that would take them out of there. They found it quickly and he sends Emilia, Thomas and Luna first, then the two Death Eaters which were received by some of Emilia’s protectors that immediately stripped them of their magic.

When he get through he ran to his daughter and lifted her in the air twirling her, he kissed her face and told her that he loves her and will never let her go. Thomas was observing the scene and was a little envious because his father had never showed that kind of affection to him.

“You ok, Thomas” Luna asked ruffling his curls.

“Yes Ms Lovegood, thank you” he said “Emilia is like her father you know”

“How is that?” looking down to him. “She opened a portal, you know, but because she wasn’t feeling good was a little one. She always said that her father will rescue her”

“You know Thomas, first impressions can be change for the better, saying ‘I’m sorry’ goes a long” he sighed “I know” and walked towards Emilia and Harry.

“Emilia, I’m sorry I shouldn’t have take you out in the alley”
Emilia turned to him. “I forgave you, friends?” and she smile shyly to him. He smile back, “yes, and thank you for rescuing me Mr. Potter”

“Now let’s get you something to eat and a healing potion for you missy” coughing and wrinkling her nose was how she received that announcement. “I will need some honey or sugar” replied Emilia.

“Once your rested we need to talk” Ael said to Harry. “Yes, absolutely, but now I need medical attention to my daughter”

“Our healers are ready, let me show you the way” He stop and turned “Your grandmother and godfather were informed of what has happened, needless to say they are not very happy, we transported them to your house and they will be waiting for your return”

“Lo que nos faltaba (Just what we need)” said Harry. “Are you dumb? I will never hear the end of this, ever” His expression make Luna and Emilia giggle.

“Don’t worry Papa, everything will be fine, you’ll see” coughing again. “I think I need that healer, like now” they all laughed.

“Sure, this way please” said Ael taking them through a garden towards a open pagoda, “I will leave you here, once you finish you can freshen up, food would be waiting for you” he then looked down at Emilia “You did an amazing job, I am proud and honor to be your guide and teacher, my princess” he bowed and leave.

After submitting to the healer recommendations and potions, she showered, is where everything just sink in. She wasn’t able to stop sobbing, Harry rushed to the bathroom, but before he step in he realized that this time she needs a woman for the job. Luna was right behind him; she smiled to him and went in.

She found the girl under the shower; Emilia looked up and flew to the open arms of Luna.

“Sh, everything is ok, you are safe now,” holding the girl tightly, “I’m so scared Luna”,

“It is understandable, but you are strong, we are going to get through this together,”

“Sniff, Thank you”

“Is everything ok in there?” Harry asked from the door.

“Yes, Papa, everything will be alright”

“Yes, Harry it was just a nargles thing, this place is full of them” she tried to say it with a straight face. Emilia couldn’t and she snorted.

“Ok, you two, the food is here, so hurry up!” he whispered “Women, you loved them but will never understand them”

The children were eager to return, so they stayed on Avalon just to freshen up and eat something.

Ael, Sinora and Sucellos accompanied them to the portal, promising that soon they come and visit to regain Emilia’s classes.

Once the portal open, they were receive by a great deal of people. Among them Maria, Emilia run to her grandmother’s arms and hugged her tightly. Everyone was happy that they return safely to them.

“Never, never do that again, I was worried sick” complained Maria. “Mama, we talk about this” replied Eric.

“Nana, I’m fine, see” twirling around, Emilia smiled and told something to Maria that make her smiled and nod in approval.

“Ok, is time for dinner, if you allowed me I will treat you with some puertorrican cousine so we celebrate Emilia, Luna and Harry’s safe return.” Maria announcement was received with cheers. “Oh Hermione, I bring with me some green plantains to make some Mofongo that will calm your cravings a little, ops” Draco looked into her wife’s eyes for a confirmation, Hermione only nodded. He hugged her and kissed her, then turn to all “We are pregnant” with a huge grin. A cheer started, “There is so much to celebrate, let’s this party begin” shouted George.

Harry left the celebration looking for some peace and quiet. He entered his library and closed the door behind him. He didn’t turn on the light or noticed Luna’s seated in one of the stuff chairs. He sighted and walked to the window.
He needs to decide if staying was really wised after all that had happened, but leaving….

“Whatever you decided is going to be fine, you are not alone and we only want for you and Emilia to be safe and happy” hearing her startled him.

“I didn’t see you there” Luna smiled at him and waited for him to continue “You know,…” She walked to her and knelt, he cooped her face with his hands, “You are an amazing woman” she leaned at his touch and closed her eyes, “

She looked shyly into his eyes, her own sparkling with love and hope; in his something undecipherable. Slowly he lean to kissed her, a sweet, loving kiss. He broke the kiss and looked at her, He kissed her again this time with passion, desire and lust, the kissed also have a promised of a future. No words need to be said, they just the feeling guide them.

“Papa”, Emilia called from the door, when she saw her father kissing Luna she started jumping and clapping. Harry and Luna jumped, startled and embarrassed of being caught. “Papa? Why are you so red? Oh!, Papa is really ok I like Luna” and with that not giving his father time to explained she left the two shock adults that after a minute started laughing at the compromised situation where they were found.

“Ok, better face the music” Harry offered a hand to Luna which she took and they went to the living room where their friends were waiting to tease and congratulated them.
After the celebrations with a very tired Emilia in his arms, Harry walked to her room to put her in bed.

“Papa, I was thinking”

“Oh, oh I really do not like the sound of that”

Emilia seats and continues with a very serious expression. “I’m only eleven so, yeah! Could I change my mind of going to Hogwarts?”

“What?!” Harry sat in her bed and lifted her chin so she looked at him. “Care to explain?”

“Papa, I’m scared, all that had happened…” tears were running through her cheeks.

“I will always be there for you, you always be safe” hugging her tight. “Let’s rest and we talk in the morning, remember your grandmother is here and we can make a decision as a family.”

With a yawn, “Luna too”, he smiled “Luna too, good night, amor chiquito (little love), I love you”

“I love you too, Papa”

Before Harry closed the door, he check everything again, new wards were set for demons as a suggestion by the fae. Tomorrow is another day where new decisions will be made.

Chapter 14

The decisions were postponed due to visitors, paparazzi and training. This new power of suspending time was energy consuming and the rules on how and when to use it very strict, mostly to be use on extreme danger or to protect an innocent.

Emilia was also allowed to visit Hermione and Jacob, who became her best friend in the WW. With Jacob, Emilia had learned about plants and creatures. She was happy having her godfather and grandmother with her, although she missed terribly her childhood friends. She had Skype and chat with them through the computer but wasn’t the same for her. She knows that she is there to go to school and learn about magic, but her protectors and tutors from the other realm were giving her all the instructions on how to control her powers.
Confused that what she is, she wanted to stay because the excitement of the new experience, but her heart wasn’t in the right place. Should she tell her father? Who can she talk that could help her? She doesn’t want her father to be disappointed, but she was not that enthusiastic on starting school as she was when she got her letter.

She made the decision to talk to her father, the sooner the better. She needs all that are important in her life involved.

Her protectors, godparents, Draco, Neville, grandmother, Luna and her father, once all together she asked Zac and Zary to help with some refreshments, like a little hostess, she make sure that everyone was comfortable.

“Ehm, thank you all for coming” they all looked at her with amusement and curiosity. She was fidgeting and looking down; she took a breath and looked around.

“I have called you here because I have made a decision, I’m not going to Hogwarts” she waits until her news sink in on all of them. They were different reactions among them, but the one she was concern more was her father and he was looking at her with a lot of questions.

“Please before you all start that is not my decision or that I’m to little, well gosh, with the grownups stuff you do, let me explain” she seat on the coffee table so everyone can see her. “Since I got into the WW a couple of weeks ago, I had experience good and bad things. I understand that I’m not the common witch and that there is a lot of stuff that even that I do not understand yet, is expected of me. I’m turn, because I love my new friends, especially Jacob; and all the things I can do with you godmother, but I’m confined to a small circle, first because I am the daughter of “The Boy Who Live”, and secondly of the things I can do. I know more than you think and I know that all of you are worried because of what happened with that demon. The wards had change, I got people around me constantly even the elementals had form like and army and are always around” she chuckled, making everyone smiled. “But I really need to be a girl for a little while more, you know, I know I am asking a lot, but I want the freedom to go to school and come home every evening and have dinner with my Papa and talk about the day or any other thing that comes up, but mostly I want to be there when my siblings come.” Looking at Harry “Don’t worried Papa your silencing charms work fine, but I know” with a mischievous look, everyone burst in laughter.

“Hermione, this girl is ours, forget about Potter here, is a mini you!” not containing his laughter.

“I can assure you Mr. Malfoy that my granddaughter is Harry’s” Maria said with a twinkle in her eyes.

Luna and Harry were blushing madly. Everyone looked at them and there were more laughter.

“Ehem, sweetheart, if you want we can talk to professor McGonagall about this if this is what you want.” Harry trying to diffused the attention from Luna and himself and failing miserably.

“Papa, Hogwarts is a wonderful school assuming that what is said in Hogwarts: A History” Hermione looked smug and proud of her goddaughter. “But it would be very difficult to continue with my training, education and how is called conmating at the same time “. “Commuting mi niña” (my girl) corrected Eric.

“Yeah, Eso, (that), Papa, please, I don’t know where I can complete my studies and have or do all I have to do and be a kid too, that is why you are the grownups and because you are my protectors, guides, teachers and family I have to ask you to help me with that, would you?” looking around at each of them. “Ok, I have said all I need, now I will go to my room and wait for you I have some emails that need to send”,
Before she reached the door, Harry scoped her up and twirled her around the living room. “You are the most precious, intelligent and wonderful girl a father could have asked for. I love you, mi amor chiquito (little love) and I am proud of you, I wonder if you would have been put in Griffindor, but you don’t worry I will fix everything.”

“I love you too, Papa” grabbing his face with her little hands, she lean and spoke only for his ears. “Ask her to marry you Papa, you loved her and she loves you back, I put the ring in your pocket” He just laughed and nodded.

Once she left the living room, “Well people you heard her, so now what we will do?” said Eric.

“I will make something to eat because this would be a long discussion” said Maria.

“Can I keep her? For pure entertainment, with her there will not be a dull moment” Draco said, gaining a scowling from his wife.

“Before we begin dissecting what my daughter wants, I have a question to ask” Walking towards Luna, he knelt in front of her, “Luna Lovegood, you are a remarkable and loving woman, would you do me the honor of becoming my wife?” Luna had tears in her eyes and looking at him she whisper, “yes”.

“What was that?”

‘I said Yes a million times yes” he puts the ring in her finger a simple diamond solitaire on platinum and then kissed her tenderly, everyone else in the room was a blur, in that moment only the two of them existed.
From the stairs, was heard a shout “YES, I have a new mummy” what made everyone laughed harder.

“Amor ( Love), remind me to remove all Weasley products from the house they are a bad influence on my daughter”

She snorted, “Our daughter”

“I like the sound of that” and kissed her with passion this time,

“Ok, enough of that, we have planning to do” interrupted Draco as Maria enter the room with a tray of cookies, tea and champagne to celebrate. As strange than it maybe two realms were united in one cause, working to bring harmony and balance to the world of a little girl they all love, Little that they know that working in tandem they are also bringing that same harmony between the two realms.

Epilogue

Seven year after………..

Unaware of the garden fairies and elementals that were repeating a verse.

When the maiden with pure heart
Seeks and catch the heart of the dragon heir and the loyal friend.
Both need to be aware.
So the heart will need
And the heart will seek
Three to be as one.

A young woman of 18 years old, of small frame, black hair and hazel eyes seats beside a
window watching the rain fall. That calmed her after she had a fight with the most important person in her life, her father. He is famous, so as she by omission, being the daughter of the “Savior of the Wizarding World” wasn’t an easy or desirable task.

“Emilia, Emilia” Harry called from the hallway.

“I’m here Papa” almost in a whisper.

“Ael, Sinora and Sucellos are here” he looked at her sad face, “What is wrong mi amor chiquito (my little love)?” seating beside her.

“Dad don’t you think is time for another endearment name, if you haven’t notice I’m not that little anymore.”

“Let’s see, 5’3”, petite frame, black wavy hair, beautiful hazel eyes, and simply adorable, yeap, mi amor chiquito (little love), until you are 150”

“Dad be serious” she sighed “I was hoping to start my life now and returning to the UK…” she lets the comment linger.

“We both know that this moment was going to come sooner or later, you are about to start your healers training which is just a step on what you are being trained to do on both realms” setting a string of hair behind her ear. “You have friends waiting for you, Jacob and Thomas and of course Jorge Raúl, Sebastian and Diego worked in the UK with some computer design company, don’t you missed them?”

“Of course but I will also leave so many others here? And what about Mum, the twins, Lilly, Granny and you?”

“Let’s just discuss that after the meeting, maybe we can do something. Shall we?”

They walked out of her room into the library. As Harry said, Sucellos, Sinora and Ael were waiting for her. Luna just came behind her with little Lilly. “Ah, mi florecita ( my little flower)” cooed Harry and picked her up from Luna’s arms, “Where are the twins?” Luna just smile, “Trying to still Maria’s coconut cookies”. Replied after kissing him.

“That would be mission impossible”

“Did you open the portal for the others to come through?, asked Emilia.

“Today you will do it, they are waiting on the Potter House with them they are others that will assist you as well.” Intrigued with the answer Emilia open the portal. Through it came Hermione, Draco, Neville, Jacob, Scorpius, Thomas, Cassiopeia, Jorge Raúl, Sebastian and Diego. Emilia jumped up and down and run to the open arms of Diego who twirled her around, after he finished was Sebastian and Jorge Raúl turns, they both sandwiched her between them. “ Te hemos extrañado muchísimo, mi pequeña”( We have missed you so much, little one).

“Y yo a ustedes” ( As I have you). After them came Jacob, which kissed her on the forehead and whispered something to her. Thomas were a little more formal and Scorpius only kissed her on the cheek and step back quickly as if something burned him. After all these years he had never warmed to her, not even after the holidays that both families went together.

“Did I smell coconut cookies?” asked Draco.

“Yes, I save you a batch; just for you Draco, unless that Thunder and Lightning got them first! Said Maria with humor in her voice.

“And those will be?”

“Albus and James” responded everyone, which made Draco chuckled, “Coming here is always fun”.

“Uncle Draco you only come because of my grandmother cooking, you cannot fooled us!” Everybody laughed at Draco’s blushed. “Are you blushing Uncle Draco?”

“A Malfoy never blushes” which set more laughter around the room. “Is ok, love, we understand” said Hermione.

“Where are Lyra and Perseus?” asked James when entering the room.

“They will come later, Lucius and Narcissa will bring them”

“Cool, we have something to show them” and run out of the room.

“This two are so mischievous that they remind me to the Weasley twins” said Neville.

“Congratulations Jacob, Emilia told us that you got your Potions and Herbology Masters and that you will be working in St Mungos” said Luna.

“Thank you, yes I will start in a month. I requested a little time before I start to relax a bit” answered Jacob shyly.

“So you will be starting your job at the same time Cassie, Thomas and Emilia start their training.” said Harry looking at a profoundly blushing Jacob. Emilia gave Jacob a kiss on his cheek and smile sweetly at him.

Clearing his throat, Eric said, “Let’s start on this new adventure, shall we?”

And with that; new plans, new schedules and lines were being defined. But something had sparkled, something will change, not even the main characters notice, but the fairies did and as they dance and celebrate their princess in the garden they again repeat.
