Disclaimer:
I do not own Harry Potter (wish I did). I make no money from this (I'm still broke).
Epilogue
Well, this is it. The epilogue! I wish I could have taken my time putting the story out, but I have so much to do before my trip it's unreal! Thanks for the support and with any luck I'll be able to get one other story out before I take off like a big old bird to the other side of the world. Thanks again, and please read and review!!

Epilogue
Three Years Later…
“Is mom going to be okay?” came the soft voice of Harmony from next to Remus.
He looked over to her and smiled. The tiny girl had been orphaned during the Battle of Hogwarts. Hermione had no sooner seen the first year sobbing quietly that she put into works into adopting her. And it turned out that she wasn’t alone. Harmony had two siblings, both younger than herself, that needed a new home as well. Hermione never being one to put a limit on caring for others took them in as well.
Teddy Snape escaped from his father’s grasp and went straight over to the small crowd that was forming over at the observation window. Absently, Remus scooped up his godson and murmured, “So you want to see your cousin too, hmm?”
He pointed at the tiny girl sleeping quietly in front of them. “April is so small,” said Tonks as she joined them, taking her son from her good friend.
“Hermione isn’t all that big,” Severus said as he joined them, kissing his son’s head as his arm went around his wife’s shoulders. “How is she doing?”
“Hermione’s fine,” Remus murmured. “The mediwitch is just checking her over to make certain everything is healing correctly.” He then looked into Harmony’s haunted eyes. “And she is healing well, my little worrywart.”
Harmony ran off to assure her brothers that their mother was fine. A few minutes later the family joined Hermione and the new baby, April, as she was breastfeeding her. Remus slipped up next to her, kissing her temple as he stroked his newborn daughter’s downy ash blond hair.
“I told you it would work,” Hermione whispered to him, kissing his jaw.
As much as he loved his new pack, Remus had wanted a child of his own. And no matter how many times he denied it, Hermione could see his pain every time they would pass a pregnant woman. So she had suggested being implanted with his sperm. He hadn’t a clue what it was and so she showed him what it entailed on the Internet.
“It’s just the path that’s blocked, right? So we can take them and put…”
“I could reverse the vasectomy,” he whispered nervously.
“Really?” She had been so excited by that prospect, but didn’t want to push him into this choice. “Are you sure you want to do it?”
He nodded. “But there’s no guarantee that it will work.”
Laughing she murmured, “But we’ll have fun trying.”
One year later they were looking at the results. April was tiny with frizzy dark blond hair and a stubborn streak that was already popping its head up as she was refusing to release the nipple from her cupid bow lips.
“That tank’s dry, dearest,” Hermione cooed to the tiny baby as she switched breasts.
More family came over including the Weasleys, Luna Lovegood and her fiancée Neville, as well as several different members of the Order of the Phoenix. Even some of Hermione’s employees were there as well from the potion’s shop Severus Snape and she ran in Diagon Alley. It felt like there wasn’t a single person who hadn’t shown up to see the newest member of the Lupin family.
But when all the visitors left, Hermione spoke to each of the older children alone. Assuring all of them that they were loved, wanted, and was going nowhere now that April was now born. Mrs. Weasley had told her that the children were more than welcomed to the Burrow. But as Harmony and Jacob were going back to Hogwarts that night with their Uncle Severus, there was only going to be Winter there with them at the house with them. And frankly, Mrs. Weasley scared him, but they weren’t going to tell her that.
“That’s okay, Molly,” Remus told her, even as Winter was clinging to his father like a vine. “It’s just going to be four of us at home. We can handle it.”
As soon as the older witch left, he kneeled down to be face to face with his son. “What did I tell you?”
“That we’re a pack,” he whispered.
“And?”
He smiled shyly. “The pack is forever.”
“You got that right,” he murmured, scooping him up off of his feet. “Let’s go see your mum and baby sister, shall we?”
When they arrived at the room, Harmony and Jacob were asleep in the visitor’s chair. He looked over to see Hermione asleep in the bed with the baby in the crib next to her. He felt his now youngest son resting his head on his shoulder as he let out a loud yawn. This was more than he had ever dreamt for himself in years past. He had his own family, a pack. He smiled to himself broadly. It was good to be the alpha.
