*Magic/Wyatt*
Chapter Nine: Part One
It had been four days since Aiden had lost his temper and had Wyatt move the Malfoy’s to his penthouse. He still couldn’t get the look of fear that graced Draco’s face out of his mind. Maybe, I should go check on him Aiden thought, before realizing he couldn’t. For he had to go with Wyatt to meet the Secretary of Magic in less than an hour.
“I still need to send off that missive to Griphook.” whispered Aiden to himself as he pulled on his black dragon skin trousers. He couldn’t help but smile as he buttoned them. Loving the feel as they caressed his skin. Next was the long sleeved silver silk shirt and finally his boots. Before grabbing a long leather trench coat on his way out of the room. He wasn’t about to wear robes today.
Arriving in his study, he grabbed an ink, quill and parchment and began his letter to Griphook. He wanted to know if he could get a meeting with Severus Snape. And if it would be possible to have Griphook bring him to Gringotts in America. He really didn’t want to step foot in Britain at this point. He wasn’t sure he’d make it out of there, if Fudge or Dumbledore realized an America had come to Britain. Even just for a day, no he didn’t want to risk it.
By the time it was sent, Wyatt had orbed into the room with a smile. “Ready to have that meeting with the Iron Lady?” Wyatt asked, remembering the first time Aiden had met Jengens. And had began dubbing her the Lady of Iron, because of the way she ran the Ministry and the wand welders.
“As ready as I’ll ever be.” smirked Aiden as he stood, moving around his desk. His smirk widened when he heard Wyatt’s groan. He knew it was the trousers he decided to wear.
“Did you have to wear those pants my own?” groaned Wyatt as he wrapped his arms around Aiden to orb.
“Yes.” was the only answer Wyatt received as they were orbing out of the room.

Ministry of Magic, Washington D.C.
“Great you’re both here. And right on time. “ Secretary Jengens announced as Wyatt and Aiden materialized into the room. “I hope the two of you don’t mind but I invited the Head of Magical Counsel to our meeting as well.”
“Not at all, one more head to kick idea’s around in always a good thing. “ Wyatt stated with a smile, before turning to the other man. “Good to see you again Rick. Your family is well I hope?”
“You as well Wyatt, my family is well thank you for asking.” Richard Nigel answered, then turned to the smaller man still in Wyatt’s embrace. “And you must be the High Sorcerer, I’ve heard so much about, Richard Nigel. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” he said as he offered his hand.
Shaking the hand, Aiden responded, “Aiden Kage, pleasure to meet you as well.” Not once moving from Wyatt’s hold.
“Great, now that we’ve the introductions out of the way. Let’s begin with the reasons we’re here.” Jengens announced as she motioned for Wyatt and Aiden to sit. She had to stop from laughing when Wyatt sat pulling Aiden into his lap. Richard had no such restraint.
Aiden’s blushed slightly as he was trying to remove himself from Wyatt. Until he felt Wyatt’s magic wrap around him. “Wyatt” he hissed, wanting out of his lap.
“Be still my own, I can feel your nervous magic rolling like the ocean.” Wyatt whispered for only him to hear. Smiling when Aiden stopped moving in his lap.
“I always figured you’d be possessive, when you found your equal Wyatt.” Rick stated with a nod of approval.
“Yes well let’s move on shall we.” Wyatt commanded as he raised his chin slightly.
“I agree, the main reason why we’ve gathered today. Was to determine if our Treaty with Britain should remain.” the Secretary stated as she looked at the young gentlemen before her.
“What I want to know, is why the British Minister didn’t know that two of his own had left British soil?” Rick stated with a grim look.
“Bullshit!” snarled Aiden
“I agree with you Lord Kage. Britain doesn’t have no more than around 2,000 wand welders in residence. They should have been aware that two had left at once. Since they are at war. ” Jengens remarked
“Actually my reports state that Magical Britain has exactly 1,275 welders and that’s including the children. Due to the last two Civil Wars, causing their numbers to fall drastically. “ responded Wyatt as he placed Aiden in the chair beside him. Since the man’s magic had calmed.
“And the Magical Being?” Nigel asked. As Jengens leaned forward, she wanted to know the answer to that as well.
“Last count was four clans of Kindred. One pack of Lycans, one tribe of Cenitaurs. Less than a dozen High Elfs, Light and Dark. Or course you have the Goblins, but they don’t involve themselves with wizard wars. ” Wyatt explained as he tried to recall the numbers but couldn‘t. He did know that they out numbered the wand welders and said as such.
“And these factions are remaining neutral. “ Jengens asked.
Wyatt didn’t know so he turned to Aiden. Both Nigel and Jengens noticed his look and turned to the smaller man as well.
“Well the Lycan pack has joined with Tom Riddle. As has some of the Rouge’s, I’m not sure about the Dark Elves. But the Light Elves last I heard were siding with Albus Dumbledore and his Order of the Phoenix. There is one Lycan, Remus Lupin that has sided with the Light. But I don’t know if this means anything, however Wyatt missed the clan of Veela that still reside in Britain according to Griphook anyway.” explained Aiden as he watched the grim looks fall on the others faces. And noticed they didn’t miss the snarl he’d made when saying Remus’s name.
“And you forgot to mention about the Veela to me until now? “ Wyatt pouted slightly at Aiden.
“ I sent you the report that Griphook sent me. Two days ago to be exact. Don’t tell me you haven’t been to Avalon. For I will not believe it. “
“But I haven’t. I’ve been with my Mother and Aunts dealing with things.” Wyatt stated with authority.
“So you say.” Aiden remarked considering the matter closed.
Jengen and Nigel were smiling at the lovers quarrel. Until they went quite and Jengen decided to move on.
“Alright, we’ve gotten off track. Aiden can you tell us anything concerning the way the British Ministry works?”
“Well, I can tell you with certainty that the Ministry is corrupt. Tom Riddle has many of his Death Eaters working on the inside. And I know for a fact that Lucius Malfoy was one that had Fudge’s ear and lining his pockets with gold. However since your meeting with Fudge, Malfoy hasn’t been seen in the Ministry. “ Aiden paused so they could take the information in.
“You know the saying, That money talks and bullshit walks. Well that sums up how the Minister runs the Magical World of Britain. “ Aiden stated with a mischievous smile.
“Yes well what about this Dumbledore? “ Nigel remarked as Jengens voiced her own question. “And what has caused this war to begin with?”
Wyatt remained silent, the last question had been in his thoughts for awhile. But he didn’t want to push Aiden so he didn’t ask. But now he was looking forward to the question answered.
Aiden blinked, he really didn’t want to remember the reasons that caused him so much pain. And Dumbledore, well he wanted to forget that man ever existed. “I don’t know what all you’re asking?”
“My own they want to know what role Dumbledore plays and what was the reason that started the Civil War over there to begin with.” Wyatt replied softly, he could tell that the questions bothered Aiden more than the small man wanted to admit.
“You really don’t know? I mean I understand the question about Dumbledore. But I thought that you’d at least be aware of what caused the war to begin with.” Aiden remarked softly.
“Aiden, what you may not be aware of is that the British Ministry is so tight lipped about what goes on there. That we only get pieces of what happens and that doesn’t sit well with me. As I’m sure it doesn’t sit well with the others in this room.” Jengens stated with warmth, she too could tell the questions had caused Aiden distress.
“Alright, Do you all want a condensed version or the long one?” Aiden announced , before climbing back into Wyatt’s lap. He didn’t care what it looked like. He needed the closeness to be able to tell this. And was glad that Wyatt didn’t seem to mind. As he felt those arms holding him tightly against a hard chest.
“Condensed version will be fine my own.” Wyatt stated as he narrowed his eyes at Jengens and Nigel, when they were about to say otherwise. He wasn’t going to let them upset Aiden anymore than he already was.
“The war that is going on in Britain at this moment is the continuation to the first one that began in the 1970’s. Madam were you the Secretary here at that time?” Aiden began and when Jengens replied that yes she was he continued.
“Tom Riddle’s began getting followers to help purify the wizarding world of muggleborns and halfbloods. He felt that muggles polluted the magical world with their idea’s and that mixing with them also made our magic weaker. What you need to know is that Riddle is what he despises, a half-blood. His mother was a witch, his father was a muggle. “ And so began Aiden’s tale.
He went on to tell them of the attacks on the people that had went against him. And that Dumbledore began the Order of the Phoenix during the first reign. And about the Longbottoms and many others that lost their lives or were driven to insanity.
When he had gotten to what happen to the Potter’s he was shaking in Wyatt’s lap. But pushed himself and finally told them that Tom Riddle or Lord Voldemort as he was know, was defeated by the fifteen month old, Harry
James Potter and the magical world of Britain was at peace for fourteen years. Until Tom returned and began trying to kill the Potter boy all because of a prophecy. And that he finally succeeded in removing Potter from the world by killing his relatives and the Minister and Dumbledore placing Potter in Azkaban with no proof that he was the one to murder the last of his blood.
By the time Aiden was finished he was drained. That had taken a lot out of him. He glanced at the others as they were pale as their eyes were wide at the knowledge he had given them.
“You mean to tell us that Harry Potter is the only one that can end their war?” Nigel asked in shock.
“So it was believed. But I have it on good authority that Dumbledore and the Minister have now stated that Neville Longbottom is the prophecy child and are training him.” Aiden stated calmly
“And this prophecy? What does it say?” Jengens asked as her head was still trying to wrap around the information. She still felt that something was missing .
“The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches. Born to those who have thrice defied him. Born as the seventh month dies. The Dark Lord shall mark him as his equal. And he will have the power the Dark Lord knows not. Neither shall live while the other survives. The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies…. “ Aiden recalled the prophecy to them as his eyes glossed over in memory.
“Aiden?” Wyatt whispered into his ear.
“I’m sorry did you say something?” Aiden turned to look at Wyatt.
“Never mind, its nothing.” Wyatt answered as he looked into those silvery blue eyes in thought.
“Well, that’s just great isn’t it. Harry Potter is dead by their own hands and if and that’s a big if the prophecy was a true one. Then they’re screwed either way. “ Jengens announced shaking her head in amazement.
“That’s true, but Aiden said they’ve been training the Longbottom boy to fullfill it since the Potter boy is deceased.” Nigel remarked.
“Neville Longbottom is not the one. He was never marked.” Aiden whispered to the others.
“Explain!” Jengens hissed not caring if she sounded harsh or that Aiden flinched at he word.
“Harry Potter was marked with a lightening bolt scar on his forehead the night Tom killed his parent’s. The Lestranges cursed the Longbottoms into insanity the same night. So Neville couldn’t be the one of prophecy.” Aiden hissed right back. He didn’t like where this was going and wanted to leave.
“ENOUGH! Both of you calm down. We’ll get nowhere if we’re at each others throats.” roared Wyatt as he moved Aiden from his lap. He was running the information through his head again. There was something in the way Aiden reacted when talking about the Potter’s. No, it can’t be. But all the signs are pointing in that direction. He blinked out of his thoughts when Aiden spoke.
“I apologize Madam Secretary.” Aiden smiled.
“I as well Aiden, I as well.” Jengens returned the smile.
“Now is there anyway to find out if that prophecy is true?” Nigel asked after the two calmed some.
“Maybe but it may take awhile.” commented Aiden
“You work on that and get back to me, Aiden.” Jengens stated as Aiden nodded in agreement.
“Well I for one think that with all the information Aiden has given. That we should continue this meeting at a later date. After Aiden has the time to find out if there is any proof the prophecy is true.” Nigel remarked as he looked around at the others. He was a bit concerned with how quite Wyatt had become . It was as though he’d had an epiphany. But Richard wasn’t about to ask.
“Agreed, we’ll set another meeting when Aiden has the information. And make the decision then. “ Jengens announced as she excused herself from the room.
Richard Nigel looked at Aiden and Wyatt. And by the way Aiden was staring at the young King. He too knew something was wrong. Excusing himself as well, he left the too alone.
“Wyatt, Wyatt!”
“Yes? Where did everyone go?”
“You were lost in thought, they’ve already left. The meetings over until I can find the information on the prophecy’s truth or not. “ Aiden announced with concern.
“Right, well let’s go.” Wyatt stated as he grabbed Aiden by the arm orbing them back to Evan’s Castle.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Evan’s Castle
When they were back inside Aiden’s study. Wyatt pulled away as if burned. Causing Aiden to be more concerned at his behavior.
“What’s wrong Wyatt, talk to me?” urged Aiden as he tried to touch Wyatt only for him to move again.
“You tell me. You tell me! How could I have been so blind. The small signs were there, the way you knew of the Malfoy’s. The way you’d avoid talking about your past. “ Wyatt muttered as he paced the room trying to gain his thoughts.
“Wyatt, I don’t understand. You know that Draco and I went to school together and that he was my rival. And talking about my past hurts.” Aiden rambled as he was trying to get to Wyatt’s problem.
“Don’t you. Today when you were explaining Riddle’s first reign, the way you were so shaken about what happen to the Potter’s it confused me at first. Because you shouldn’t have been.” Wyatt looked at him with determination.
“Wyatt” whispered Aiden, he didn’t know exactly what had set the man off. And then a thought hit him like stone. Oh Merlin, he knows.
“I want the truth , and I want it know. Were you Harry Potter?” Wyatt demanded. All he wanted was to grab Aiden and hold him. But he couldn’t until he knew the truth. No he wouldn’t until Aiden told him the truth.
Tears were running down Aiden’s face at this point. “Yes alright. I was Harry Potter. “ he stated before he collapsed in the floor.
