Epilogue One: The Snapes

Nine Years Later

In all his years on this earth, Severus Snape had never been happier than he was at this very moment. It was Christmas and his wife was dancing around the kitchen preparing their feast for the festive day. She had given the servants the day off, and had been gleeful at the thought of cooking for her husband. He loved the way her body swayed as she moved with the grace of a swan.

Her body still affected him the way it always did, even after witnessing their children being born, he wanted her more than ever. He felt a small poke to his left side and turned to stare down into beautiful blue eyes/

“Daddy, I want my dolly,” pouted his five year old daughter Elizabeth.

“It’s my dolly Lilybeth,” objected her twin sister Katharina as she followed after her.

“Girls…” he warned in his best authoritive voice.

“Well I’ve got the doll now, so neither of you can have it,” smirked Tobias, their 8 year old son. He was the image of his father, with the obsidian eyes, and dark hair.

Severus was nearly out the door when he heard the screeching of his daughters as her brother pulled their pigtails.

“I hate Toby!” cried Katharina, as she stomped on Severus’ foot.

“Why did we ever have children?” he asked his wife.

“Because you were foolishly in love with me and didn’t want me to run away with the first handsome stranger I saw,” she laughed as the girls chased Tobias from the room.

“I remember it differently, I wonder if Lucius still sits on that throne?” smirked Severus.

Rhonda laughed, “I don’t know…Do you remember his face when he caught us?”

“I remember you nearly killed me with those bloody heels,” he laughed, “I had marks on my arse for weeks,”

“Oh really? I seem to recall you taking me so hard I was screaming in delight, I had to hold on to something! It was you or the throne,”

“Always the throne, dearling, always the throne,”

“Are you looking forward to visiting the place our children were conceived tomorrow, Lord Snape?” she grinned.

“Remind me to burn the blasted thing,” he said, amusedly, “It will be a delight to revel in Lucius’ discomfort when he has to sit on it, I shall take great pleasure in watching him glare, I must thank him for our delightful brood,”

“Oh, you love being a father,” she laughed “Admit it,”

She wrapped her arms around his neck and he kissed her softly.

“I love you Lady Snape,” he said between kisses, “You have made my life complete.”

“It was always you, Severus, my wonderful Lord, and love of my life.”
