Chapter 13
"Let's go to Hogsmeade," Draco said, still smirking. "Do we walk the whole way there under this?"
"Of course not." Harry gave a smirk of his own. "You'll see." He lead the blond down into the castle, and found the tunnel leading into Honeydukes. "We go this way." Draco walked through the tunnel with wide eyes.
"Are you sure about this?" He asked, sounding a bit nervous. Harry saw the way he eyed the tunnel walls, and laid a hand reassuringly on his shoulder.
"It's safe. I've been coming this way since third year." Draco stiffened, and for a moment, Harry thought he'd overstepped his bounds.
"I KNEW IT!" Draco shouted. "I knew I saw you in Hogsmeade that day! You threw mud at us!" The idea suddenly seemed absurd, and both boys dissolved into laughter.
"I did," Harry admitted after they'd calmed. "I'm sorry about it now, but at the time I wasn't." He chuckled, and Draco shoved him playfully. When they reached Honeydukes, Harry ushered Draco under the cloak while they snuck out of the store, and into an alley. Harry made to take the cloak off, but Draco shook his head, smirking over his shoulder. Turning, Harry saw Ron, and sighed.
"Don't," he asked, resigned, but Draco shook his head.
"Don't worry, I won't hurt them." Harry followed with him as he wandered over to Ron, and tapped him on his shoulder, stepping back as he did. Ron turned around smiling.
"Harry, mate, it's-" He trailed off, not seeing anyone, and frowned. "This isn't funny anymore," he said, and waved Hermione over. "I think Harry's here," he said, and she looked around expectantly.
"Really? Where-OH!" She jumped forward, clutching at her behind, and whirled around. "Harry?!"
"Nope," Harry said. "Not me," Draco shushed him, and Harry kissed him briefly. "But I can't explain right now."
She reached out, looking for the cloak, but Harry sidestepped neatly, all but dragging Draco with him. "We're getting out of here before you get me into any more trouble," Harry hissed, grinning, and Draco walked him towards the path leading back to Hogwarts. He whipped off the cloak when they were out of sight, laughing.
"Did you see her face?! I thought she was going to explode!"
"I can't believe you patted her arse!" Harry said, chuckling.
"What, not going to yell at me for being a nasty Slytherin?" Draco lowered his eyes and looked at Harry almost coyly.
"Don't do that," Harry said, pushing past him. "And why would I? It was funny. I'm just never telling her who it was. Ever."
"Oh you want to."
"I do."
