"Harry," Draco hesitated and took a deep breath. "Pansy and Theo broke up. He’s run off again. If I go after Theo, well, he will be angry."
"He'll get over it, Draco," Harry answered, looking at him.
"It's not Pansy that is the problem with this," Draco said. "It's what I did to them both."
"What? You kissed him and you didn't do anything with Pansy? That's the problem?" Harry asked, trying to understand.
Draco frowned, looking over Harry's shoulder, not seeing the room but looking into his past. "It's not the kiss. It's not about now. It's about what I did back then, during the war."
"...What did you do?" Harry asked, biting his lip.
"I rejected them. I turned on them and made them feel like not only did I not want them, but that I never wanted them. Never cared about them." Draco was shaking as he spoke, his face paler than usual.
"But you didn't have a choice then," Harry said softly, getting up and walking over to where Draco sat.
"They didn't know that then, and they don't really understand it now," he sighed, looking up at were Harry stood. "All we had was each other, and I made them feel like they couldn't even trust that."
"Draco...you need to talk to them about that. You need to make them understand. It doesn't matter if Theo will get angry...you need to tell him that," Harry said.
"It wouldn’t matter what I said now. It won't erase how they feel about it. The way they learned never to trust anyone. First, from their parents and then later from me. I helped make them this broken." He dropped his face into his hands.
"Do you want to fix things?" Harry asked, kneeling down in front of him.
He dropped his hands to grasp Harry's hands and looked into his face. "I can't f-fix it," he said, "but I want him to understand. Words won't do that."
Harry looked at him, suddenly understanding. "Do whatever it takes."
"It won't change how I feel about you," he said, his voice hoarse as he looked into those stunning green eyes. "I love you and have always loved you."
"I know," Harry said softly, trying to smile a bit at him.
Draco brought his lips to Harry's kissing and licking at his lips.
Harry kissed him back before he slowly pulled away, resting his forehead against his. "You should go...”
"You are sure?" Draco asked, even though he was afraid to. But he loved Harry more than anything and wouldn't mess this up.
"I'm fine with it...really," he answered, nodding.
"I love you," Draco smiled. He caressed his face for a minute and then stood up and went to find his second oldest friend.

Harry sat on his bed, their bed, a cup of hot cocoa in his hand. Ever since he moved here he'd be drinking the stuff like water. It was better than alcohol, he thought.
He glanced over the empty bed, sighing as it finally hit him. What he just agreed to let Draco do. It didn't bother him...no. He knew Theo probably needed Draco a hell of a lot more than he did right now. Harry was just feeling... lonely. Especially after sleeping with Draco every night. Now all he had was a big bed and cocoa. It was like the final piece of the puzzle was missing.
He set his cup down and got up, wondering over to the window seat where he sat down and looked up at the moon.
Loneliness. That's what it was. It was funny how when he was a child he was so used to it. He always found something to occupy his time with. Whether it was Dudley's old toy soldiers or chores that his Aunt was going to give him eventually.
Now he'd been spoiled with company. Someone was always by his side. But he needed to remember that Theo needed Draco right now.
The door creaked open as Draco's cat walked inside, looking around before she settled down in front of the window. He looked down at her and patted the sill, smiling when she jumped up and joined him. He was feeling better already.
Loneliness. That's all it was.
Maybe he'd call to have a chat with Beckett later. If he wasn't still traumatized, of course.
