Draco came too two days later. The first thing he saw was his fiancee sitting in a chair next to him, fast asleep. Next to him Harry Potter was stirring. The first thing Harry saw was Draco who looked as though he had been run over by a truck.
"What happened to you?!" Harry asked incredulously.
"The short version would be: Hermione was busy watching you and didn't see a killing spell sent her way so I took it for her and I guess somehow she managed to put some life back into me."
"Oh. You really took the spell for her?"
"I would take a million killing spells for her."
"Listen, Mal- er, Draco, I can tell now that you really care for her."
"I do. We're getting married you know."
"Congratulations. You have my blessing."
"Er...Thanks. I know that will mean the world to Hermione."
"It does." The boys jumped. Neither had noticed that Hermione had woken up. "I'm glad you have come to accept Draco, Harry."
"Yeah, well, anyone who is willing to take a shot for you deserves your love." Hermione went over to Harry and hugged him before kissing Draco. At that point Parvati walked in holding Anya.
"I still can't believe this adorable girl has Draco Malfoy's genetics. I can't get over that." She was murmuring. Hermione had told her who's the baby was the day before.
"Gee thank's a lot. I'm not that bad." everyone laughed.
Three months later Draco and Hermione got married. At the reception Hermione pulled Draco aside. Mocking his phrasing of his proposal in the infirmary months before Hermione said:
"I was intending to save this for later but we seem to be having a moment here, Draco, we're having another baby."
