Chapter Thirteen: An Infuriated Groom and A Struggling Bride

Thank you all for your kind reviews and remember that the \"luffa is only happy with the hippo on Tuesdays and don\'t even try to substitute it with a llama, they are really bad at the tango.\" If you could understand that you\'re amazingly similar to myself and if not the translation is: \"Thank you for the kind reviews I hope this next chapter is up to your standards.\"

Chapter Thirteen: An Infuriated Groom and A Struggling Bride

It was a breathtaking day, with warmth from the sun and a affectionate breeze gently grazing all the people outside. The perfect day for a nice walk outside, filled with lots of unplanned meetings, and lots of gossip. People were all speaking of one subject though, and it wasn\'t the oddly perfect weather. It was after all, the perfect day for a wedding.

The royal joining of Harold Potter and Tom Riddle would be a true sight to see. If the strikingly handsome groom, and ethereal bride weren\'t going to attract a swarm, then the location certainly would. The land mark of the Northern Slytherin country was of coarse the ancient temple. The temple was from an age of black magic and was forbidden by man and God alike to go into. Like many dark things though, the appearance was tempting, so Tom had to convince the priest to marry him and Harry on the outside of the temple.

The outside was an ornate stone stairway leading to double doors each the size of a castle drawbridge. The temple itself was enchanted to look like it was on a cloud and the crowd would have to watch from near by towers, barely being able to see or even hear what was going on. On a whole, the temple screamed that it was magic made.

\"Harry, I have a surprise for you.\" Tom said still seated at his desk, as he watched Harry get dragged in by the guards.

\"Let me go, you bastard! I won\'t marry you!\"

\"Oh . . . even after I went to all the trouble of retrieving your Godfather?\" Tom raised an eyebrow.

\"What?\" Harry uttered quietly horrified, eyes doubling in size, Harry hoped to God that Tom was bluffing . . . but Tom never bluffed. Tom snapped his fingers, still not bothering to get up, and another man was dragged in, much like Harry.

\"SIRIUS!\"

\"HARRY!\"

\"Oh Sirius, we were so worried- Tom please don\'t hurt him!\" Harry started at Sirius but quickly directed his attention back to Tom. It was always a wise decision, when with a loved one in the presence of Tom, to keep full attention on him. Harry had learned this after the fireball.

\"I won\'t if the wedding goes on without any . . . ‘hitches.\'\" He accentuated the last word with a dazzling smile that disgusted Harry. With a hand signal, the guards dragged Sirius off down the opposite hallway. Tom went back to writing on his current paper work.

Without looking up Tom requested, \"Harry, it\'s too quiet, why don\'t you sing us a song?\"

\"I\'d rather not.\" Harry said bluntly.

Tom still nonchalantly demanded, \" Let me rephrase that, Darling. I. Am. Bored. Sing me something. I don\'t care what.\" Harry thought for an appropriate song, and the guards left him, to stand on his own.

\"The sky has fallen,
As have I.
And only darkness,
Hears my silent cry.

But it won\'t help,
the darkness you see,
serves only one purpose:
And that is to quiet me.\"

In the center of the room, Harry refused to look up, staring only at the floor. As Harry descanted, he didn\'t move, but tears began to fall down his face dropping and splashing on the ground. He didn\'t even blink but they continued flowing down, Tom hadn\'t looked up, but the guards watching were driven insane with sorrow at the mournful song and equally heartbreaking vision the angelic creature made.

\"The light wont shine,
the darkness is everywhere,
There is no way out.
So why do I care?

Without hope,
Why am I still skimming?
for the dawn of bright light,
When the light is only dimming?* \"

By the time Tom had looked up, Harry had tears streaming down his face and Tom\'s heart broke at seeing Harry so upset. Harry hadn\'t noticed the tears but he did notice when Tom walked up and brushed them away. Tom drew Harry into a tight embrace, and inhaled the gentle sent of his adorable wingely.

\". . let me go.\" Came out as a muffled plead from Toms chest. Harry sobbed his delicate frame shaking. \". . .let me go . . . please, for the love of God, let me go . . . \"

\"No. I love you and I need you . . . as mine especially. You will understand and love me back some day.\"

\"No. Please let me go.\"

\"Go get ready. The wedding starts in two hours. I\'ll send some servants in to assist you.\"

Tom was enamored by his beautiful Fiancé, sitting in the same chair as this morning, he gazed at him longingly. He watched as the divine creature came toward him. As Harry drew nearer Tom was able to deduce from his brooding aura that Harry was not pleased with something.

\"Is it true?\"

\"Is what true?\"

\"You\'ve hired assassins to kill Draco? He had men chasing him about, and I over heard the guards talking about a ‘reward\'. Is it true?\"

\"Yes. I can\'t stand to think that scum like him is living in the world. Besides, he might try to steal you away.\" Tom answered dryly.

*SLAP* . . . and for once, Harry wasn\'t the one being slapped.

\"How dare you? I\'m marrying you, and I love him! Isn\'t it enough to ruin my life? Why take away his?\"

\"Settle down! It\'s time to get to the wedding!\"

\"I will not ‘settle down\' you monster! Leave Draco alone!\"

\"Fine. GUARDS! Escort Mr. Potter to the wedding, I will be there shortly.\"

And so the wedding began with an infuriated groom and a struggling bride.

SORRY! I thought I would have gotten farther on the chapter, but alas! You shall have to wait to see Harry get rescued just in the nick of time! How the hell did Tom turn so evil I wonder?

* I was rutting through my old work, and found that poem in my 4th grade portfolio. I didn\'t know I was so dark even back then, no wonder I\'m so twisted! I\'ve had a long time to get this way! Ha. PLEASE REVEIW! IM IN NEED OF MOTIVATION!
