It's Always Darkest Before Dawn
AN- I know that it’s been a super long time since I updated, and I’ll save the space for the story. I will not, as I said before bore you with all the details. Let’s just say that my life has been more mixed up than our dear Jessica and Severus’. But the story will go on. By the way I was very right to be happy about whom the Half Blood Prince was and will be incorporating it into my story, so if you have not read it, then I’m forewarning you that it will be here. There is also a Voldemort sex scene, but it’s more about his taking power than the actual sex. He enjoys feeding from other’s life forces and does so later on in the chapter. I also take liberty with the Horcruxes and where they are. I’ve only read HBP once and am guessing at where the other ones are. Please forgive me if it’s not canon correct. And now, back to There’s No Place Like Hogwarts.
Ginny’s heart had seemed to stop in her chest as she stared down at the figure crumpled at the foot of the stairs. She knew that she was never going to escape Azkaban now and was deciding which would be worse, a Dementors Kiss or facing Lord Voldemort. She was totally fucked either way. Somehow Harry had passed by her and was now at Jessica’s side, feeling her wrist while Hermione made sure that everybody kept a clear space around her. Harry glared up at Ginny with a burning hatred in his green eyes that she felt as if they were searing into her body. Hastily she looked away, at the floor biting her lip.
A few people screamed out loud as Jessica sat up, looking around. The blood still dripped from her forehead and scalp. She ran one hand over the gaping wound and it magically closed, leaving only a smear of blood on her head. Ginny’s eyes widened in terror as Jessica ran her tongue over her blood soaked palm and licked it. Jessica waved her hand at her wand that was a few feet away and it flew into her palm. Everyone around was shocked at such a display of wandless magic.
Harry was seeing red know and started up the stairs after Ginny at full speed. Ron tried to grab him, but Harry in his hate easily shrugged off his friend who was a great deal taller than he and weighed much more.
“That’s my sister, mate. You’d better not touch her.” Ron yelled as he went after Harry. Jessica waved her hand and softly said “Accio” as both wands soared at her.
“That will be enough Mr. Potter and Mr. Weasley. I shall ask you both to go straight to Professor McGonagall and explain to her your situation. She will decide what to do with you. I shall take care of Miss Weasley by myself.” She looked up at Ginny and smiled sweetly. Before Jessica could act, she heard Severus’ angry voice coming down the corridor, followed by Professors McGonagall and Dumbledore. Ginny took off running and was soon followed by Ron.
“What the bloody hell is going on around here?” Snape asked as many students ran for the Great Hall. He grabbed Harry by the collar of his robes and lifted him from the ground.
“Potter, I might have known it was you.” Severus snarled.
“Severus” came Dumbledore’s cool voice and Snape set Harry back on his feet.
“Sir, I didn’t do anything to Jess.”
“Lady Snape” Severus interrupted.
“Well, I did not hurt Lady Snape, sir. I wasn’t the one who pushed her down the stairs. That was Ginny. I was just trying to keep her from running away, which she has.”
Jessica looked at Severus as he asked her if it was true. She nodded her head.
“Yes, it is. Mr. Potter in fact came to aid me after I fell, along with Miss Granger here.”
“Then they will both be rewarded for this.” Dumbledore stated before turning to Harry. “Are you quite sure of what you saw, Harry?”
“Yes sir. Jessica, I mean Lady Snape was heading to the Great Hall and Ginny started an argument with her. Ginny was saying things”
“What was she saying Potter?” quizzed Snape in his eerily calm voice.
“I’d rather not say sir.” answered Harry, looking around at the few remaining students. He wound not want to divulge the fact that he knew that Jessica was a Death Eater. Snape glared at them and the rest of the students took off running.
“ Answer me Potter!”
“Ginny was saying that Lady Snape was a Death Eater and that she saw something last night that could prove it. Then Ginny shoved her down the stairs.” Harry finished quickly.
“My goodness” Professor McGonagall exclaimed.
“Are you hurt?” Severus asked quietly in Jessica’s ear. She shook her head.
“I don’t think so. I feel fine, actually, except that I’m very hungry. I think that I’ll go back to our room and have breakfast there. You’d better go talk to Albus. Tell him I’m okay.” She turned and handed Harry back his wand and Ron’s as well.
“See that Ron gets this wand back. And come and see me tomorrow Harry. I have something I want to give you.” Jessica said, giving Harry’s hand a light squeeze. She walked back to the dungeon leaving everyone looking very stunned.
“I shall go find Miss Weasley. Severus, will you meet me in my office in 5 minutes. Minerva, I want you to send an owl to the Ministry. Inform them of all that has happened, and also owl Arthur and Molly. They will want to be here.” Dumbledore finished his orders and slowly walked up the staircase to find Ginny.
Draco was lazily making his way down to the Great Hall when someone slammed into him causing a tear in his robe. He saw a Gryffindor crest and automatically reached for his wand. He stopped only from hexing the person when he saw who it was.
“Ginny?” Ginny’s face was flushed and dripped with sweat. She was breathing hard as if she had run the whole way there. Draco could barely understand her as she spoke in a ragged breath. He finally understood what she was saying after a few tries.
“You pushed her down the stairs?” he asked in disbelief. Ginny slowly nodded, wiping her tears away with the sleeve of her robe.
“I don’t know what came over me, Draco. I was just so upset and before I knew it she was at the bottom of the stairs, not moving.” Ginny felt sorry, not for what she had done, but what consequences she was to suffer due to her actions. Ginny jumped when she heard her brother’s voice calling her name out. Draco shoved Ginny behind a large suit of armor and told her to be quiet.
“What are you doing here, Weasel King?” Draco drawled, throwing his chest forward so that his prefect’s badge glinted.
“Looking for my sister, Malfoy. Have you seen her?” Ron asked.
Draco shook his head. “Manners, Weasley. I have not seen your sister. Ask Potter. I’m sure he’s seen her.” Ron shot Draco a nasty look, and then walked away. A few seconds later, Ginny emerged from her hiding place, looking a little dusty.
“Professor Snape is going to be very upset with you.” Not to mention Lord Voldemort, Draco thought silently. He had gotten a very detailed letter from his father early this morning giving a gruesome account of what had occurred last night when Jessica had taken the Dark Mark. She was one of them now; an attack on her would not be taken lightly. According to his father’s letter (and Draco could see the disappointment practically dripping from the lines) that for some odd reason now Jessica was the Dark Lord’s most revered Death Eater.
“I know!” Ginny cried. Snape’s words echoed in her head. The malice in his eyes as he told her that he would bring her to Voldemort himself. And that was just for knowing what Jessica was. He’d kill her when he found her.
Draco thought. If he hid Ginny, then eventually he’d have to hide too. Lord Voldemort would find them and Draco had the feeling that he would not be merciful.
“You’ll have to face up to what you’ve done, Ginny. You’re likely to get expelled, but I seriously doubt that Professor Snape would hurt you. Least not with Dumbledore around.”
Ginny’s eyes widened with fear. Draco saw that she was looking over his shoulder. He turned to see Dumbledore standing behind him, a grim expression on his face. She wanted to run, to scream, to tell her side of the story. Instead she said nothing as Dumbledore pulled a piece of parchment from his cloak and began reading in a solemn voice.
‘Ginerva Molly Weasley,

There are numerous witnesses to testify to the fact that without cause, you committed this act. At the time of her fall, Lady Snape was with child. In your act you not only endangered Lady Snape, but also could have caused harm to her child. Lady Snape, though however unharmed has asked for the most appropriate punishment allowable by law. The Ministry of Magic cannot tolerate the outright violence that has occurred. Upon receiving this letter, you are hereby expelled from Hogwarts. A further investigation will be done at a later date upon the request of Lord Severus Augustus Snape. This could result in the destruction of your wand and/or time in Azkaban prison.

Dumbledore stopped reading and looked sadly at Ginny. He held one hand out to her.
“I will have to ask you to surrender your wand Miss Weasley. I will be giving it to your parents. They are on their way. I will give you some time to talk to Mr. Malfoy. After that, he can bring you to my office.” Draco nodded. Dumbledore walked away. Ginny began sobbing quietly. Draco put one arm around her slim waist and pulled her near to him.
“Ginny, you can do this. You’re a bloody Gryffindor. Courage and all that.”
“I have nothing left anymore.”
Draco fell silent. He could no longer wait to tell Ginny his true feelings.
“You have me.”
“What?”
Draco drew in a deep breath. The time for the truth had come.
“Those things you’ve been getting? The chocolates, the necklace, the perfume? That was all me, Ginny. I love you. That’s something to hold on to.”
Ginny pressed a kiss to his cheek. She would hold on to that memory forever. Glumly, she allowed Draco to escort her to the Headmaster’s Office. Her mother and father sat inside. Professor Snape sat rigid. When Ginny walked in the room, he jumped to his feet. She had never seen her father this upset, even after the row he had with Percy last year. Her mother sat sobbing into a handkerchief and refused to look up. All she could think of was Snape’s voice telling her that he would bring her to Voldemort. His dark eyes bored into hers as he fingered the wand hidden inside of his pocket. She could feel him inside of her mind, forgetting that he was a highly accomplished at Legilimency. Her thoughts had betrayed her. Ginny hastily looked away.
A man in a Ministry of Magic robe silently waited as Professor Dumbledore once more read the charges again, causing Arthur to turn white and Molly to sob even louder. She threw herself at Snape’s feet, kissing the hem of his robes.
“Please Severus, show some mercy. Don’t let them take Ginny away to Azkaban, please be kind. Ginny tell Professor Snape that it was a accident.”
Severus curled his lips into the familiar sneer as he looked at Ginny, who said nothing just continued to stare at the floor.
“It was no accident, was it Miss Weasley?”
Ginny’s silence was the answer. She trembled as Snape’s large hand closed around her throat. He kept his grip, despite the shouts from Dumbledore.
“You stupid foolish girl. You have no idea what you’ve done. But you will pay.” He released Ginny and she fell to the ground, gasping for air. When she finally found her voice she started to shout.
“He’s going to bring me to You Know Who! He said so!”
Snape looked at her like she was insane. Ginny started to cry as her mother sank down on the carpet next to her. Professor Dumbledore handed the wand to the Ministry official who in turn handed it to Severus. He snapped it into 2 and threw the pieces at Ginny’s feet.
“See to it that I never set sight on Miss Weasley again. Let her go to her parents for the time being, until her trial. I must go check on my wife.” Severus swept from the office in a flash of black.
The fear in Ginny’s heart grew as her parents walked her to the fireplace. She knew why Professor Snape was being so lenient. She was soon be in the hands of the worlds most dreaded wizard and she knew that nothing she could say or do would convince her mother or father otherwise.
Jessica carefully stepped into the hot shower, rinsing the blood from her hair when her Dark Mark started to burn. She could hear Voldemort’ s voice inside of her head as clearly as if he was standing right nest to her.
“My Lord?” Jessica asked, shutting the water off and wrapping a dressing gown around her damp body.
“Come to me. See the silver ring on top of the table?”
“Yes, Master.” Jessica could see it sitting there on the smooth polished surface of the nightstand. It was shaped like a snake and had one emerald stone for an eye.
“Put it on.”
Jessica did so and suddenly felt herself being jerked forward. The snake ring was a portkey. At once she found herself in a dark room lit by a few candles and a fire. Voldemort sat in a high backed chair facing her. Immediately Jessica knelt down to kiss the hem of his robes and she felt Voldemort’s hand stopping her. He was laughing.
“That is not necessary. I know that you are a faithful servant. Sit” he ordered, pointing to a chair that sat next to him.
“Yes My Lord.” Jessica softly whispered.
Voldemort stood and walked to the back of her chair. He gently touched the top of her head, stroking the silky strands of her hair. When he spoke his voice was not it’s normal harsh hissing , but quieter, almost man-like.
“Let me see your back”
Like a puppet, Jessica stood, untying the belt of her green satin robe. She let it fall to the floor. Voldemort moved the chair and placed his hands on her shoulders. He could see the ladder of crisscrossing scars shiny and white on her skin. He ran his finger over one of them and it healed as quickly as the cut on her forehead had. Unlike the last time when the Dark Lord had touched her, Jessica felt a warm shiver run through her body. A small sigh escaped from her lips. She heard Voldemort chuckle.
“I can give pleasure as well as pain. Would you like me to give you pleasure?” He reached around the front of her and pinched her nipples roughly. Jessica thought of Severus and was flooded with guilt.
“Do not worry about Snape. He is busy with the Ministry concerning the details of your fall.” Jessica started to ask how he had known, but he answered before she could speak.
“My dear, I know everything. We shall make that mudblood traitor pay. But I asked you a question.” He pulled harder at her stiffened nipples while biting down on her neck.
“Yes My Lord. I would like you to pleasure me.” Jessica found herself speaking the thought that ran through her mind. She knew that whatever it was, she had to say yes to Voldemort, regardless of the betrayal to Severus. And her skin was aching to be touched in any way.
Voldemort’s red eyes gleamed in the dim light. Jessica felt the cold hand on her stomach as she slowly sunk to the floor, lying on her side, her back to him. She felt his long fingers stroking her skin, over the scars that were now gone at his touch. Jessica began to feel the pleasure building inside of her and she began to sob at the sensations that thrilled her. She let out a whimper as he stopped caressing her and roughly pushed her down at the floor. Voldemort towered over her, feeling the ultimate power as the lovely young woman at his feet cried out for his touch. He could command this with the mere force of his mind. He loved to control her, and that was his pleasure. He no longer was physical with woman, at least in that way. Not since Bella had he wanted to. That was until Jessica had shown up. He could feel her power floating in waves, as well as the anger and hatred in her soul. She had all the intensity of a very powerful Dark witch even though she was a Muggle. He wanted to taste her.
“Beg me.”
“Please touch me my Lord. I need it.” And Jessica knew that what she said was true. She felt her passion blazing, scorching, and electrifying her body. She needed to feel his hands, his mouth more than anything that she ever wanted before, including Severus.
Voldemort lifted Jessica’s bare body and placed it on a large red velvet canopied bed. He ran a single finger over her lips shutting off her words as she continued to beg him. Voldemort summoned a lit candle and allowed some of the hot wax to drip down to her center. Jessica moaned in pleasure, nearly peaking as the hotness reached her swollen sex.
He leaned over and bit down on her nipple while the candle continued to drip. Jessica screamed as her orgasm blasted through her body. Voldemort felt a surge in her and was nearly thrown back as it started. She continued to writhe in excitement on the velvet and in a blind passionate moment, she reached for his face and began to kiss his mouth. She thought beyond the white skin and red eyes, the sharp nails that ended his long tapered fingers. She wanted him to feel what she was feeling.
“Please, My Lord. I need you. I need to feel you.” Her soft touch burned his skin, there was so much feeling in it that he almost moved away. She tasted sweet, like honey. It was far too much. Her power was like a drug and it flowed through her entire body. Her skin felt like it was on fire. She was still trembling, clutching at the red fabric, and twisting it. The last waves of pleasure had faded away and she opened her eyes to see Voldemort lying beside her, his nails raking across her pale flesh. He felt like ice to her fire, darkness to her light. He moved inside of her and she began to scream out. His darkness filled her until she could no longer see, yet she wanted more, her passion mixed with her fear.
Voldemort could taste her fear as he bit her shoulders, breasts and her neck, drawing blood. But her passion was overwhelming him. He felt Jessica go limp as he climaxed, the sheer force of his power rushing through her as hers had done with him. She closed her eyes after drawing the covers over her body. She couldn’t believe what had just happened. She had done it with Voldemort, totally succumbing to his mysterious hold over her. Yet she felt no guilt at her actions. Voldemort moved away and sat in his chair again. He had grown weary and needed to relax. He could still taste her eagerness, and her strength. It was so overwhelming that such a small thing could have so much life force, so many feelings all at once. Her soul was screaming at him when they were joined as one. She was pushing him away and pulling him close all at once. He had felt intoxicated after her fed on her. Voldemort knew that she had not known what he was doing by using her to feed, like a vampire needing blood. With his soul split so many times he had needed to put one of the two remaining Horcruxes into Jessica. One had gone into the diary, one into a ring, one into the Hufflepuff cup, the other into the Slytherin pendant and one into Nagani. But he was surprised by the fact that this didn’t at all weaken her.
Jessica had felt a little tired and it felt as if part of Voldemort was still in her, down deep in the depths of her soul. But that couldn’t be possible, could it?
AN: It’s short, but good, hopefully. In the next chapter we see Voldemort setting a task for Jessica that challenges her conscience and her feelings for Harry. Ginny goes on trial, Draco faces an impossible feat for his master and Severus’ true nature is revealed. Please don’t flame me. I haven’t written in a long time and the whole soul/ Horcruxes thing will eventually lead to somewhere.It\'s crazy, but hey, it\'s fanfic after all. I f you want to be included in my update list leave your e-mail in your review. I also have a plan for Jessica’s unborn child. Please stay tuned for the next chapter of There’s No Place Like Hogwarts! And review!
