Reunited 2
Fill him in
"Harry," Hermoine and Harry were looking over the book that Severus had giving him since Remus and Sirius were still locked in their rooms. "That spell is going to take at least a week or two."
"Then we better get started now," Harry picked up a pad of paper and a pen and started to jot down a list of supplies they were going to need. "I am going to help Sirius and Remus which ever way I can. Jason needs my help too. Who knows what kind of hell he’s been through? The police haven’t done shit in helping us find him."
"Haven’t they been over to interrogate the Malfoys?"
"It’s not like they are going to get much out of them. It’s not as if Lucius would admit to a crime. Have you filled in Ron?"
"Yeah. I told him to meet us in Hogsmead at 2. Did you write everything down?"
"What took you two so long?" Ron questioned as Harry and Hermoine apparated into Hogsmead. They had picked the same spot that they had run into Lucius and Draco to meet at.
"It’s not even 2 yet, Ron," Hermoine grumbled.
"Sorry to hear about everything," Ron patted Harry on the shoulder sympathetically. "I’ll do anything to help out. Just ask."
"Do what?!" Ron blurted. "Harry! I can’t do that! I don’t even know him!"
"Ron," Harry hissed. "Quite down. This isn’t exactly legal."
"But Harry," Ron’s voice lowered to a whisper. "Are you sure that this will work? I know that we’ve done something like this before. But then we had time to prepare and it didn’t last very long."
"Ron, Sirius’ son is in a shit load of trouble right now! You said that you’d do anything to help."
"Do you even know where he is?"
"I’m working on that," Hermoine joined the conversation. "I’ve got some locating spells at home. It’ll take me less than an hour to find him. But it’ll take us a week or more for the potion. If it came from Severus, it’s bound to be good."
"Professor Snape?!" Ron’s voice was loud again. He quickly caught himself and lowered his voice down. "If it came from Snape it’ll probably get us caught."
"No," Harry corrected. "Trust me. When Snape gives his word, he means it."
"I still don’t trust the bloke," Ron grunted. "He’s been plotting against you since your first year."
Harry shook his head. It wasn’t as if he could tell them the extremes he had gone to in order to get that book. But he knew that Severus was honest when he gave his word.
"Ron," Hermoine scowled. "Stop being so whiney. We need to get to work."
The three of them entered a magic shop to pick out the ingredients needed in order to make the potions. The potion was going to change them into different people much like Ron and Harry had done to become Crabbe and Goyle and when Hermoine turned into a cat. But this time, it wouldn’t be of anyone that people knew and it would last as long as they needed. They would be able to choose what they wanted to look like. But Hermoine had to locate where Jason was in order for them to even start the potion.
"Do we have everything?" Hermoine leaned over Harry’s shoulder to see if he had checked all of the items off.
"I think so," Harry stuffed the paper into his pocket and carried the basket of items to the counter to pay for them.
The woman behind the counter glanced up at the three magicians standing before him. "What do you intend on doing with this potion?"
"That’s none of your business!" Hermoine snapped, giving the cashier a cold glare.
She mumbled something under her breath as she rang up the items, which were quite expensive. She handed them the bag of ingredients and the receipt and watched suspiciously as the Golden Trio left the shop.
"Let’s get started," Harry dumped the bag over on the table, letting its contents spill out.
"Are you sure that Sirius and Remus won’t mind?" Hermoine made an attempt to organize everything.
"They haven’t left their rooms for the past 2 days. I don’t think that we have to worry about it much.
"Wait, ‘Moine," Ron stopped her hands. "Don’t you have to find him before you start?"
"Right."
