Chapter thirteen: Private Meeting
Chapter thirteen: Private Meeting
Amelia slept in Severus’s bed. She had been for a while now. Pretty much ever since they got together. Amelia slept with one leg on top of his stomach and her head resting on his chest.
Severus woke up, feeling a burning pain in his wrist. He knew that he was being called in to a meeting. It was very early in the morning and realised that Amelia was half on top of him and that he would wake her up.
“Amelia.” Severus whispered.
“Hmm?” Amelia opened her eyes.
“I must go.” Severus softly pushed her off of him.
“Where to?”
“I’ve been called.”
“By my father?” Amelia sat up.
“Yes.” Severus began to dress himself.
“Do you have to go?” Amelia crawled off the bed and stood in front of him.
“Yes I do.” Severus looked up. Amelia had a feeling of sickness rise up in her stomach. She didn’t want him to go.
“What will he do if you don’t?” Amelia asked. Severus looked at her with soft eyes.
“You do not want to know.”
“Alright,” Amelia put her arms around his neck. “Just watch yourself, yeah?” Amelia softly kissed Severus’ lips.
“I will,” Severus held on to her for a while. “I best go,” Severus pulled out of the hug. “You just sleep I’ll be back in a bit.”
“Ok,” Amelia kissed him once more then hopped into the bed. “I’ll wait for you to come back.”
“Do.” Severus picked up a white mask and hid it with in his robes. He watched as Amelia’s eyes slowly closed. He turned away and left his quarters. He walked through the hallways and out towards the forbidden forest. He reached into his cloak pocket and pulled out a portkey. He held on to it and then everything around him began to disappear.
Severus appeared again at the front of a large black brick house, with a black cloud that always hovered over it, signaling it that it was a dark place. He grabbed his white mask and placed it over his face then he walked though the large black gates and towards the front doors.
Severus walked in though the double doors and in to the large room that the meeting were held in. He looked around seeing that there was no one there. He pulled off his mask and put it back in to his robes. He thought that he must have been summoned for a chat one on one.
Severus looked up and saw Lucius walking towards him. He stood there waiting to see what he would talk to him about this time. Severus had grown to despise Lucius over the past few years when he had see what he would get up to.
“Hello Severus.” Lucius smirked
“Hello Lucius.” Severus replied, unexcitedly.
“How is Miss Riddle going?” Lucius asked with a calmly tone. Severus’ eyes flashed with anger.
“I wouldn’t know.” Severus lied. He couldn’t tell Lucius that he was with her or show that he knew how she was. Lucius could smell if they were together a mile off and then her would try and take her away. Like he had always done. That’s why Severus hadn’t bothered to be with anyone anymore.
“Oh, right. You know you should probably give her shot.” Lucius whispered. “She isn’t that bad you know.”
“Lucius I do not whish to hear what you think of her.” Severus growled through gritted teeth.
“Oh what a pity. I have such extreme stories to tell you about her.” Lucius mocked, knowing he was hitting a soft spot.
“Indeed.” Severus chose to ignore him from now on. Suddenly there was a loud crack and green smoke appeared in the room. Severus dropped to his knees. There was a little silence.
“Severus how kind of you to join me.” Voldemort’s icy cold voice drawled.
“It is my pleasure my lord.” Severus kept his head down.
“Stand up.” Voldemort ordered. Severus stood up and looked at the man that was the father of the one he loved. “I want you to do something for me.”
“What is it my lord?”
“Bring my daughter to me.” Voldemort walked closer towards him. Severus felt a ping in his chest, he looked at Lucius and saw him smirking.
“Very well my lord. You shall have your daughter.” Severus seemed slightly upset. He knew that Amelia wouldn’t take to this. She never wanted to see her father. He didn’t know how he was going to make her come along.
“Bring her here when I next summon you.”
“Yes my lord.” Severus nodded.
“Good. You may go.” Voldemort turned away.
“Thank you my lord.” Severus walked out of the room. He walked though the mansion thinking about how he was going to explain this to Amelia.
“Severus!” Lucius shouted. Severus stopped walking and looked at the platinum blond hair man.
“Lucius I do not whish to talk to you about Miss Riddle any further.” Severus snarled.
“Come on Severus, remember us before? We always used to talk about our conquests.”
“Hmm, yes that was when I was younger.” Severus continued walking.
“Have I pulled a heart sting Severus?” Lucius mocked.
“No,” Severus stopped walking and pushed Lucius in to a wall. “Would you like me to go in there and tell the dark lord that you have been having an affair with his daughter?” Severus threatened. Lucius looked mortified. “I do not think that he would like that, actually Lucius I think that’s a cause for death.” Lucius pushed Severus away from him.
“What about you Severus?” Lucius fixed himself.
“What about me Lucius? I am not married, I do not have a wife that has given me a child.”
“How un lucky for you.”
“Yes, highly.” Severus walked off. “Do not come near her again Lucius, I will get you if you do!” Severus walked out of the front doors. He took out his portkey and held on to it. The mansion disappeared and he reappeared at the edge of the dark forest.
Severus walked back in to the school, contemplating whether to go and see Dumbledore or Amelia first. Eventually he made up his mind and headed down to his quarters. He quietly opened his office door and in to his bedroom. He looked at Amelia as she slept with no bed sheets on and only in a black nighty. He walked over to the bed and pulled the sheets over her.
“No,” Amelia groaned. “Its to hot.” Amelia pushed away the bed sheets.
“It’s bloody freezing.” Severus pulled the bed sheets up again.
“Severus please, just leave me be. I’m boiling.” Amelia pleaded sleepily.
“Very well.” Severus sat down on the edge of his bed. Thinking of how he was going to tell Amelia what her father wanted.
“How did it go?” Amelia asked, turning around so she looked at him.
“It wasn’t a meeting.” Severus took his white mask out from his robes and put it in to his bed side draw.
“Oh, was there anything bad?” Amelia propped herself up on her elbow.
“You may say so.” Severus didn’t look at her. Amelia crawled over to him and sat next to him.
“Can you tell me?”
“I must anyway, it is to do with you.” Severus finally looked at her. Amelia felt her stomach flop.
“What, what is it?” Amelia asked with a shaky voice.
“He wants you.” Severus sighed.
“No.” Amelia shook her head. “He can’t have me, not after what he’s done. Never!” Amelia stood up and paced. Severus watched her. “I don’t want to see him.”
“Amelia he will not do anything.” Severus stood up.
“He will, Severus you do not understand how much I hate him.” Amelia growled putting her head in to her hands. “I can’t.”
“He just wants to see you.” Severus pulled her hands down. “I will make sure he does nothing.”
“What will happen if I don’t go?”
“Not anything good.” Severus was soft, he stroked the back of his hand against Amelia’s cheek.
“Alright,” Amelia sighed. “I will go, for you.”
“Thank you.” Severus bent his head down and placed his lips on top of Amelia’s.
“We’ll talk about this more in the morning. It’s still early, you can catch a few more hours sleep.” Amelia pulled Severus down on to the bed. Severus took off his cloak and laid down beside Amelia. Severus tried to pull up the bed sheets. “Severus!” Amelia chucked them off of her.
“How can you be hot?” Severus asked.
“I don’t know. I’m not feeling to flash either.” Amelia turned around so that her back was facing him.
“Maybe you should take the day off.” Severus suggested.
“No. I’ll be ok in a while.” Amelia closed her eyes.
“Alright.” Severus put one arm underneath her.
