The Line...Crossed

Hermione\'s Power

The next morning when Harry and Hermione woke up they hurried down to the Great Hall.
\" I can\'t believe it no classes today,\" Harry told Hermione.
\" I hate to admit it but I\'m glad.\" He didn\'t say anything to this, just ate.When they had finished eating they hurried off to their room to do the homework that had to be done and returned next week. As they worked they had no idea that Ron was plotting to kill Harry. Ron waited for them to come out of their tower, he had been working on the killing curse and now that he could do it, he was going to use it at once. Meanwhile Professor Snape and Lupin were walking down the corridor to head to the staff room.
\" I can\'t believe that this month is almost over with.\"
\" Me eaither.\" Suddenly both Harry, Hermione, and the Professors entered the same area at the same time. Ron pulled his wand on Harry and yelled the spell. The Professors watched in horror as it came at Harry.

\" Harry\" yelled Hermione. And then suddenly the spell stopped and Ron was thrown against the wall. The Professors looked for the source and found that Hermione had blocked the curse from hitting Harry, though she hadn\'t gotten in front of him, she had blocked it. She fell to the ground and Harry ran over to her.
\" Hermione, are you alright?\" She nodded and Ron was taken away. He held her glad that all of this was finally over. Hermione was checked over by Madam Pomfrey who told them that she needed her rest. Harry left thinking that this had to be the most horrible term that he had ever been apart of, next to the one when the whole school thought that he was attacking students.

When he returned that afternoon after seeing Ron off to the Ministry he saw that she was still asleep. Unknown to him she was wide awake, she had almost lose Harry and she was determined to make sure that nothing ever happened to him again. She got up and walked up to him, he was busy working on his report.
\" I think that can wait,\" she told him. He got up and smiled at her.
\" I\'m glad that your okay,\" he said. \" I thought that you had died.\" She didn\'t say anything to him and then she suddenly she was kissing him. He didn\'t have the will to fight it, he had almost lost her and she had almost lost him and he knew that they both needed this.

He laid her on the bed and slowly removed her clothes kissing every inch of skin that had been exposed. She moaned her enjoyment and with her hands she egged him on.
\" I want you,\" he told her.
\" And I want you as well.\" She wrapped her legs around him and then reaching for her wand she removed his clothes by magic.
\" I like that,\" he murmmered. She brought his face up to hers.
\" No more talking.\" And all night they didn\'t speak a word.

The school didn\'t see Harry or Hermione all weekend, and Dumbledore smiled about that. When they did show up he noticed that she had an addition to her left finger, engagment ring.
\" So he asked you to marry him!\" She nodded a big smile on her face.
\" Well I can say that this has turned out to be a big success.\"
\" I know, I thought that I was giving up something, and now I\'ve found the most wonderful happiness that I thought I could ever have. He makes me laugh, and smile. I love him so much, and I thought that I had lost him forever.\"
\" Well I don\'t think that\'s going to be a problem,\" he told her. \" I know one day he will be the most powerful wizard next to me, and I know that all of this will soon be just morymory.\"

\" I hope so, I never want to hear about this awful time, except in a book.\" She then walked away and Dumbledore had to admit that she was right.
