Chapter 11: Arguments

\"Lucius,\" Harry said happily. He didn\'t think twice or about any consequences when he moved into Lucius\' arms. To his surprise, the elder wizard returned the embrace. \"Thank you.\"

\"Hey, that\'s *my* father,\" Draco pouted and tried to shove Harry out of the way.

\"And he\'s *my* complement,\" Harry bantered back, not willing to move out of the light, but affectionate embrace.

\"He\'s been my father much longer than he\'s been your complement, Potter.\"

\"Oh, I don\'t think so, Malfoy. You\'re what? A month younger than me? And I think I was born as his complement.\"

\"Still, I\'ve been with him since I was born.\"

\"There. You had him for 16 years. Now it\'s my turn, don\'t you think?\"

\"He\'s my *father*!\"

\"And he\'s my *complement*!\" Harry looked at Lucius, who was quietly shaking with laughter by now. \"What?\"

\"You two are getting annoying,\" he said with a smirk.

\"Are not,\" both boys said in unison.

\"Please,\" Dumbledore said with a smile. \"Sit down again. There are more pressing matters than who gets to embrace Mr Malfoy first.\" Both boys blushed, but obediantly followed Dumbledore down to his sitting area. \"Lemon drop? Or tea? Or dinner?\"

Harry grinned. \"Dinner. I\'m starving.\"

\"Very well.\" Dumbledore rang a little bell and a second later a platter with sandwiches and fruit appeared, along with a jar of pumpkin juice. \"Your father will stay with you from now on, Draco,\" he said while his guests enjoyed their dinner. \"Also, I will put up wards around your room.\" He turned to Harry. \"You should be able to practise your new magic in there, then without being detected.\"

\"My new magic?\" Harry sounded confused.

\"Yes, Harry. Your magic will shift when you bond with Mr Malfoy.\"

Lucius cleared his throat. \"Well, that\'s still to happen.\"

Harry blushed ferociously, which earned him a snicker from Draco. \"Why, Harry, are you still a virgin?\"

\"Can we please not discuss this here?\" Harry blushed even deeper. \"My magic will shift. What about Lucius?\"

\"His magic, of course, will shift, too.\" Dumbledore ate a lemon drop before he continued. \"How do you feel, Harry?\"

Harry frowned. \"I\'m okay. Why?\"

\"Are you feeling weak lately? Or tired? Drained?\"

Harry shook his head. \"No, sir. I felt a little tied up,\" he admitted. \"But I feel good. Relaxed, now that Lucius is safe.\" He smiled.

Dumbledore and Lucius shared a look, Lucius quirking an eye-brow. An understanding that went unnoticed by Draco and Harry passed between them. \"Are you dreaming?\"

Harry choked on his pumpkin juice. \"Dreaming?\"

\"I\'ll take that as a yes,\" Lucius muttered under his breath.

Harry just stared wide-eyed at Lucius. But he quickly composed himself again. \"I do dream,\" Harry stated firmly. \"Just not about Voldemort, if that\'s what you wanted to know.\"

\"I have a feeling I know what you are dreaming about. Nothing to be concerned with.\"

\"Yeah, right. You don\'t have those dreams,\" Harry thought.

Lucius noticed the rather dark look Harry was giving him and raised one eyebrow, nodding slightly. \"Headmaster, I believe we are all tired. Why don\'t we discuss the details of my presence tomorrow evening?\"

\"You are quite right, Lucius,\" Dumbledore conceded and stood up to accompany his guests to the door.

Lucius put on a black cloak and pulled up the hood to avoid recognition. \"Headmaster, a pleasure, as always.\"

\"Good night, Professor,\" Harry said and followed Lucius and Draco down the stairs.

\"Good night,\" Dumbledore muttered. \"Sweet dreams.\"

~o0o~

Harry decided to give the two Malfoys some privacy. He bid them good-night and headed towards Gryffindor tower. To his surprise, Ron was the only one still up in the common room. \"You\'re still up?\"

Ron glared at him. \"Yes, obviously I am.\"

Harry frowned. \"What\'s wrong?\"

Ron stood up. \"What\'s wrong?\" he echoed mockingly. \"Nothing is *wrong*. What could possibly be *wrong*? You\'re only colaborating with the *enemy*! You brought a *snake* to our table! You are spending your time with a *Malfoy*! So nothing is *wrong*, Harry!\" Ron yelled the last bit at Harry.

\"Would you please calm down, Ron?\"

\"Calm down?\" Ron snorted. \"I haven\'t even started! What the hell is wrong with you? This is Malfoy! We hate him!\"

\"That\'s where you\'re wrong, Ron,\" Harry snapped. \"I happen to get along with *Draco* quite well!.\"

\"Fine. Dump me for that bastard!\"

\"What? Honestly, Ron, you should go and see someone. Why would I dump you?\"

\"\'Cause you\'re spending all your time with the git!\"

\"Don\'t be ridiculous. I spent the last two days with him. That\'s hardly all my time. Besides, you don\'t own me, Ron. I\'m allowed to have friends next to you.\"

\"But why Malfoy?\"

\"Why not?\"

\"That\'s not a reason.\"

\"It\'s a perfectly good reason. I like Draco. I\'m actually glad I did offer him that truce. I don\'t expect you to become best friends or something with him, but I also don\'t want you to chicken out every time I\'m with Draco.\"

\"If you bring him here, Harry...\"

Harry groaned. \"I won\'t listen to your rant a second longer, Ron. If you can\'t accept my friendship with Draco...\" Harry didn\'t finish. If Ron wasn\'t able to accept Draco, what would he say about Lucius? Harry sighed and turned to go to bed.

\"We\'re not through, yet,\" Ron said, but Harry ignored him and left him alone.

~o0o~

The body under his hands is soft, almost delicate to the touch. He explores with his hands, with his lips. He seeks out places that are most responsive to his touch. His lover arches into his touch, wordlessly begging for his torture to end. \"What do you want?\" Harry whispers. He meets the silver gaze of the man beneath him. \"Whatever you are willing to give...\" Harry smiles smugly, licking across the swollen tip of his lover\'s cock. Encouraged by the loud moan, he takes the man\'s cock into his mouth, sucking as he goes. The taste is salty, slightly bitter. But it tastes like...

\"Lucius!\" Harry woke with a moan. This could not be happening. \"Why me?\"

He took hold of his hard leaking cock and jerked it roughly. He didn\'t want to think about Lucius\' body, his hands, his cock, but the more he tried not to think about the wizard the more frantic his movement on his erection got. With a muffled groan, Harry fell over the edge.

He whispered a quick cleansing spell before he got up. It was still dark outside and his friends were still soundly asleep. He sighed. He wasn\'t a morning person. Not at all. But he wasn\'t feeling tired. Quite on the contrary. He felt like he\'d been sleeping into the day quite long.

He dressed quickly before he took his invisibility cloak and sneaked out of the dormitory. He wasn\'t really paying attention to where he was going, so he was quite surprised when he found himself standing in front of the sphinx portrait that guarded Draco\'s rooms. \"Atalante,\" he said softly, and the portrait swung open.

It was dark in the sitting room; the fire had died out over night, but the air was still pleasantly warm. Harry listened closely if Draco or Lucius were already awake, but everything was quiet.

He fell into a comfy looking armchair, hugging his legs to his body. He felt at peace in this room, knowing Lucius was near by. He almost laughed out loud. Half a year ago, Lucius and he had faced each other in the Ministry of Magic, ready to hex and curse the other into oblivion. Not anymore. Harry wanted Lucius near. He wanted to feel his complement deep within. Smiling at this thought, he fell asleep again.

~o0o~

Harry woke up with a start, raw power surging through his body. He immidiately recognised the flare in his veins, knew that Lucius had touched him. He looked up, meeting the grey eyes of the wizard. \"What was that for?\"

\"And good morning to you, too, Harry.\"

\"\'Morning.\" He yawned. \"What time is it?\"

\"Almost seven. Draco is already in the showers.\"

\"Then I should go back to the dorms.\"

\"What were you doing here anyway?\"

\"Couldn\'t sleep anymore.\" He yawned again. \"I took a stroll and ended up here. Do you mind?\"

\"Not at all.\"

\"I had a row with Ron last night,\" Harry admitted. \"He\'s jealous about me spending so much time with Draco.\"

Lucius raised his brows. \"Draco told me about the Weasley boy\'s reaction to him at the Gryffindor table.\" He smiled at Harry. Again, this genuine and warm smile that made Harry want to crawl into Lucius\' arms. \"You should probably go, Harry. Unless you want Filch to catch you in only your pyjama bottoms?\"

Harry blushed, but he held up his cloak. \"I inherited somthing very useful from my Dad.\"

Lucius lips quirked in a smile. \"I knew James had to have one of those. I just never was able to prove it.\"

Harry smiled sadly. \"Yes. My Dad was quite special.\"

Lucius nodded. \"That he was, Harry. Go now. You\'ll be late for class otherwise.\"

Harry smiled and slipped out of the room.

~o0o~

Harry was more than relieved when classes were finally over. He had made a point of joining Draco in nearly all classes but Advanced Potions. Dean, Seamus and Ron were staring daggers at them all the time, while Hermione and Neville tried to keep neutral ground.

Somehow, it made Harry sad to see his friends shunning Draco like this. And he knew that, once they\'d learn about Lucius and his liaison to the dark wizard, he\'d be on the receiving end.

He sighed inwardly and went to have dinner. Unexpectantly, Draco was waiting for him in front of the hall.

\"Hey, Draco.\"

Draco looked around cautiously. \"My father told me to tell you that you and Granger are expected in the Headmaster\'s office after dinner.\"

Harry quirked an eye-brow at Draco\'s formal speech. \"Are you all right?\"

\"Yes,\" Draco said quickly. \"It\'s just... I don\'t like the idea of Granger knowing about my father\'s whereabouts.\"

Harry smiled. \"There\'s more to this, Draco, I kno.\" .\"

Draco blushed. \"Father... He didn\'t ask if I want to come with him,\" he said quietly. \"It\'s like he doesn\'t want me there.\"

\"Draco,\" Harry said affectionately. He found it endearing how quickly the blonde had put their differences aside and accept more than the truce Harry had offered. \"Do you really want to hear your father and me talking about having sex?\"

Draco pulled a face. \"Eww, no. But what\'s Granger doing there, then?\"

\"My guess is that she\'s going to help me with the research on complementary wizardry.\"

\"I could help, too, you know?\" he huffed.

\"I know. And I\'m glad you will.\"

\"Father trust you, you know?\"

\"Does he?\" Harry replied, quirking one brow. \"Why do you think so?\"

Draco shrugged. \"I just knew when he kissed me the other day. In front of you. He usually is very anxious to keep a cold front in front of strangers.\"

\"Do you mind?\"

\"No. Quite on the contrary. I\'ve never seen him smile so much. Even not at home. It\'s like you touched something deep within him that he\'s been missing.\"

Harry smirked. \"Well, I hope I did. I\'m his complement after all.\"

Draco slapped him playfully across the shoulder and smiled. But his smile disappeared at the three approaching Gryffindors. \"We\'ve got company.\"

Harry turned to face Ron, Seamus and Dean. Ron\'s face was flushed with anger, and Seamus and Dean didn\'t look friendly, either.

\"Traitor,\" Ron spat.

Harry rolled his eyes. \"Come off it, Ron.\"

\"No.\" Ron drew his wand, as did Draco. \"We\'ll teach you what it means to betray your friends and House by colaborating with the enemy.\"

\"Ron, I\'m not colaborating with the enemy, and you know it. You ought to know better than anyone else.\"

\"Tell me, then, Harry. What are you doing with the ferret if not colaborating with the enemy?\" Ron yelled.

Draco stepped between Harry and the advancing Gryffindors. Before the situation got out of hand, Professor e cae came out of the dungeons. \"What\'s going on here?\" he demanded.

\"Malfoy tried to hex us,\" Seamus stated, raising an eye-brow at Harry, daring him to say differently.

\"Mr Malfoy?\"

Draco looked at his Head of House, but didn\'t say anything.

Snape shook his head. \"25 points from Gryffindor for baiting Mr Malfoy.\"

\"But, Professor,\" Seamus started, but he was cut short by Harry.

\"They\'re lying.\"

The three Gryffindors ga. Ro. Ron looked like he was ready to punch Harry in the face, while Dean looked more relieved than angry; Harry decided to talk to Dean later.

\"What was that, Mr Potter?\"

\"Ron threatened me, and Draco intervened on my behalf. Seamus and Dean had nothing to do with it.\"

Snape again looked at Draco. \"Is that correct, Mr Malfoy?\"

Draco nodded. \"Yes, Professor.\"

Snape\'s lips quirked in a cruel smile. \"Mr Weasley, you will serve detention with me for 2 weeks, starting today. I expect you in my office after dinner.\" He left the five students to their own business again.

\"You\'ll regret betraying us, Harry,\" Ron said.

\"You did betray me, Ron. You can\'t accept that there\'s others than you or any Gryffindor who might count as my friend.\"

\"I don\'t have a problem with that, Harry, and you know it!\" Ron hissed through clenched teeth. \"It\'s Malfoy I have a problem with.\"

\"Don\'t make me choose between the two of you, Ron,\" Harry said quietly. \"Please don\'t.\"

Ron wanted to answer, but Dean put a hand on Ron\'s shoulder, holding him back. Harry didn\'t look at them as he brushed past them, almost running up the stairs, Draco two steps behind him.

Harry snarled the password at the sphinx and Draco almost didn\'t manage to slip into the room without getting the portrait in the face. \"Harry! Stop!\" Draco said calm, but firmly.

The Gryffindor turned around. \"Stop? I haven\'t even started!\" He moved to slam his fist into the wall, but was stopped by a gloved hand. He looked up into Lucius\' face, shivering at the contact.

\"What happened?\" the dark wizard simply asked.

Harry breathed deeply, and when Lucius was sure he wouldn\'t hurt himself, he released his hand. \"Ron threatened to hex me.\"

\"Why would he do that? I thought you were his friend?\"

\"Yeah, and he is friends with me,\" Draco said quietly. \"Weasley doesn\'t get over the fact that Harry might see something more in me than his archnemesis.\"

Lucius quirked an eye-brow. \"Typical,\" he said with distaste. \"No style or manners at all. Well, that was to be expected.\"

\"Hey,\" Harry protested. \"He\'s still my friend.\"

\"And what do you think the Weasel will say when he finds out about you and my father?\" Draco sneered.

Harry kept silent. He knew Draco was right. Ron would never accept Lucius in Harry\'s life. Provided that Lucius would choose to become a part of Harry\'s life.

\"That remains to be seen. We should go, Harry. Dumbledore expects us.\"

Harry nodded curtly, mouthing \'I\'m sorry\' at Draco. Draco fell into an arm chair, pouting. Lucius dropped a kiss on his son\'s head before Harry and he left to meet Dumbledore and Hermione in the Headmaster\'s office.

\"Draco\'s not happy about this,\" Harry commented the dark mood of the former Slytherin. \"He doesn\'t want to be left out.\"

\"I know. But it\'s better this way.\"

\"Don\'t you want him to know?\"

\"For now, I want as few people as possible involved.\" He pulled his hood up.

\"I think he\'s upset \'cause Hermione is allowed to help and he\'s not.\"

\"Ah yes, Mrs Granger. Well, she\'s there on Dumbledore\'s request, not on mine.\" He shot a meaningful glance at Harry.

Harry snorted. \"I know. She\'s *muggleborn*.\"

Lucius nodded. \"She is. You won\'t change my ways and attitudes in two weeks, Harry, if ever.\"

\"Just--try not to act too surperior in front of her.\"

\"But I am.\"

Harry\'s temper flared. \"That\'s not the point!\"

The dark wizard removed his hood and stared into Harry\'s eyes. \"I know,\" he breathed before he resumed in his path, pulling up the hood again.

Harry shook his head, following Lucius to Dumbledore\'s office. Lucius puzzled him. What had that been about? He sighed. There was no point in trying to figure Lucius out. He never would. Not if the other wizard didn\'t want him to.
