Epilogue
One year later…
“I now pronounce you husband and wife!” Kingsley said with pride. “You may kiss the bride.”
Harry smiled as he leaned over and kissed Ginny quite soundly as the audience cheered and hooted. Bill was a part of the wedding party. He may not have been blissfully happy, but he was pulling his life back together and was at the very least content. Hermione and Remus Lupin were in the front row with Will managing to sleep soundly throughout the ruckus. Rubbing her son’s back, she smiled up at her mate.
“Can you take him?” she asked quietly. “He is getting to be so heavy.”
He took him from her, murmuring to the stirring boy that everything was okay. The little boy let out a contented sigh and let himself fall back to sleep.
“It’s going to take forever getting him back onto a regular sleeping schedule,” Hermione said as she stood up to go to the reception. “But I do have some good news.”
“Really?” Remus said as he stood up. “And what is that?”
Luna came over right at that moment and said, “Hi, Remus, Hermione. Do you want me to take him over now? My little Delilah is napping as well. I can put him right in there with her as the crib Neville bought is quite large.”
“Now is perfect,” Hermione said as she went about handing him over to her. “You have all my numbers correct?” The sleepy eyed blond nodded.
As Luna walked away with their son, Hermione turned to look to her husband with a desire filled look in her eyes. “I got us a babysitter for the entire night.”
His grin grew as well. “Is that so? And do you have nefarious plans for my person, my sweet kitten?”
“I don’t know,” she said coyly, dragging her finger up and down his chest. “Perhaps I want to take…” She walked closer to him. “…a long…” She nipped his ear. “…hard…” She went on to lick it, teasing the lobe. “…nap.”
He scooped her up, tossing her over his shoulder much to the delight of the people seeing them.
“A bed will be involved, cat, but sleep…” He slapped her ass playfully, as he kept walking towards the apperation point. “I think not.”
