Chapter Eight



Avalon: King Wyatt’s Study



Wyatt had just read the last letter from Aiden. It seemed as if his guards were starting to get on his nerves as well as the Malfoy’s. I should write and remind him. That I told him this would happen. Chuckled Wyatt as he went to the next letter from Secretary Jengens.


King Wyatt,


I’m writing to inform you, that I’ve been in contact with the British Minister of Magic. And let me say this, that man is a bumbling idiot. He tried to turn the subject completely around. He stated that he was unaware of Riddle and Malfoy leaving Britain. And that he couldn’t control his citizen’s movements?

Does that sound familiar? I remember after you claimed your throne and met with me for the first time. And was made aware of the number of wand welding witchs and wizards on American soil. And you couldn’t believe that I had to control all of them. I guarantee that I still have the memory of your face in my pensive.

Speaking of pensive memories, I really need a meeting with you in the next few days. I have a few of the Minister of Magical Britain, that I think you would get a laugh out of. Bring that wonderful companion with you as well. You know the one, about 5’9 , 100 lbs soaking wet. Long black hair streaked with red. Eyes full of mischief. Yes, Lord Kage is a sight to behold Wyatt. I hope you can keep him.

Seriously though I really need to speak with you both. Concerning the Treaty between America and Britain. With what’s happening over there, and the way there Ministry is setting on their ass. I believe we may need to take over and rebuild that Ministry when there war is finished. And with Lord Kage being born and raised there. He may give us a more understanding of what Magical Britain’s laws are and such.

By the time Wyatt had finished the letter, his face was red from embarassment. He couldn’t believe her thoughts on Aiden. But he did agree that since Aiden had been a British citizen then he’d know more of the laws.


And he was curious about the memories that Gloria had in her pensive. But before he could answer with a meeting date. He’d have to find out when Aiden was available. Grabbing a pen and paper he wrote to his companion, sending it off with magical flames.

Today is not my day. Aiden thought as he began hissing in parsel- tongue. ~ Am going to wind up back in prison for the same thing that I was innocent for the first time. But this time , I’d be guilty. It’s sad that I had to resort to parsel - tongue just to get the Malfoy’s to stop whining and complaining to me about their guards. Honestly I could care less if they are followed while shopping or stand outside their rooms while here. ~

Aiden just kept hissing, he was glad nobody could understand him. And he didn’t care that the guards seemed to cringe when he spoke the language. It was a plus for him, because they stayed out of his way when he was hissing and spitting. Hum, I need to get a snake he thought before Dobby popped in.

“Aiden, sirs you haves a letter from your Kingsey in yous study.” Dobby said bouncing on his feet.

“Thank you Dobby, was there anything else?” Aiden sighed with a smile that was reserved only for Dobby and Winky.


“Cans Dobby hurts youngs Draco. He is gettings on Dobby’s nervesies?”

Aiden smiled. “Just don’t do any permanent damage Dobby.” He said as he watched Dobby grin viciously before popping out. Serves you right Malfoy. After all you‘ve put us through. Aiden thought as he heard a scream coming from the floor above. Not stopping once on his way to read his letter from Wyatt.



Aiden had to read Wyatt’s letter twice, before he looked at his appointment book. He had met the Secretary of Magical America once. And she seemed to be a good person. Hell she ran the Magical part of America with an iron fist. He wished Britain was run that way. Well lets see, today is Tuesday and I’ll be busy until late Thursday. It seems as though I have all of Friday and the rest of the weekend free he thought. Before he answered Wyatt’s letter with the days he was available.

It never seemed to amaze him. That Wyatt would include him in many of the important matters, that included the Magical part of America. He’d never gotten over the time, Wyatt had taken him to the meeting with the Kindred Lords. It was an eye opener that was for sure. They all seemed to have a high respect for Wyatt and he them.

And the time when Wyatt introduced him to the Charmed Ones. As well as his brother. That was an experience of a life time. He still couldn’t get over that the Charmed Ones were Wyatt’s, Mother and Aunts.


It was November 12th and Aiden was waiting in Wyatt’s study for him to finish for the day. They were going to Halliwell Manor to meet Wyatt’s, Mother and Aunts. He was a nervous, no beyond that he was terrified they wouldn’t like him.


“You’ll be fine Aiden, they’ll love you.” Wyatt whispered into his ear as he wrapped his arms around him, before orbing out.

When they arrived outside of a middle sized Manor House. Aiden wanted to run as Wyatt was literally having to drag him to the door.


“I don’t think I can do this Wyatt.” announced Aiden as his face had turned sheet white.

“Of course you can, you’ll be fine. Trust me.” Wyatt smiled down at him with warmth.

Aiden just remained quiet, he couldn’t really protest anymore. Not after the smile Wyatt had given him. So squaring his shoulders he allowed Wyatt to lead him inside.

Aiden could feel the warmth and love inside the walls of the Manor. On the outside he wore a look of calmness. But inside he was nervous. He couldn’t figure out why Wyatt would bring him there. That was until he met some of the family.

“Mom, Aunt Phoebe, Aunt Paige we’re here.” yelled Wyatt as they had just made their way to into what looked to be a conservatory.

A middle aged woman with long brown hair and eyes walked in. “Oh good you’re here Wyatt. And this must be Aiden Kage?” the woman had stated as she went to hug him.


Aiden couldn’t help but stiffen into the hug. Before he returned it. Inside he wanted to kick himself. “It’s nice to met you?” Aiden replied with a confused look.

“Sorry Aiden my mom’s name is Piper Halliwell.” Wyatt sheepishly stated as he looked between his mom and Aiden.

“Wyatt, you should know to tell your friends our names. Before bringing them. Less confusing that way.” Piper berated her son as she smiled warmly toward Aiden.

“Where are Aunt Phoebe and Paige?”

“They’re upstairs looking through the book.” Piper replied as she sent a glance at Aiden.

“Don’t worry Mom, Aiden knows, he’s one of us?” Wyatt stated as he wrapped an arm around Aiden.

“What a relief, so we won’t have any problems if a Demon just pops in for coffee .” laughed Piper, as she went toward the stair. She didn’t notice Aidens face turned white again. “You two come on up, maybe you’d be able to help.”

Wyatt looked down at Aiden in concern. “Are you ok?”

“Yeah, I think so. You don’t really invite Demon’s for coffee right?” Aiden looked up into Wyatt’s face with a bit of fear.

“Of course not, with my Mom and Aunts being who they are. Well let’s just say the Demon’s tend to just pop in at anytime.” Wyatt laughed as he led Aiden up the stairs toward the attic.

“Who are they?”

“The Charmed Ones!” Wyatt stated with amusement.

Oh shit! Aiden thought as he was pulled up the attic stairs. He couldn’t believe it, he’d heard many things about the Charmed Ones. They were powerful and kept the Demon population down to a minimum. Just knowing he was meeting some of Wyatt’s family was bad enough. Now he finds out they’re the Charmed Ones to boot.

“There you two are. What took you?” Paige asked as she smiled at Aiden before going back to the book.

“Good to see you again Wyatt. It’s nice to finally have a face with the name Aiden. It’s good to met you, my names Phoebe and the other one is Paige.”

“It’s nice to meet you all as well.” stated Aiden with nervousness.

“I told him about you three being the Charmed Ones. He just needed a moment to recover from the shock.” Wyatt replied as he too went over to the book.

Piper and her sisters understood, Aidens reaction. They had gotten that a lot over the years. And with Wyatt being King it just up their value.

Piper decided to grab Aiden by the arm and bring him over to the others. Once there she explained what they were looking at. “This Aiden is what is called The Book of Shadows. It holds many of the Demons and Warlocks. As well as ways to vanquish them. We haven’t came upon one that we couldn’t find a way to get rid of. “


Aiden was in shock still. He couldn’t believe they would let him near something like that he could use against them. “Why are you showing me this. You don’t know me?”

“No we don’t but Wyatt trusts you. And that’s enough for us.” Piper stated as she placed his hand on the book. “And see the Book of Shadows trusts you as well. That means you’re good. And have no intensions to harm us.”

Aiden smiled. Before jumping into the discussion of what Demon they were looking for. He gasped when they said the name Artemis.

“Aiden what is it? Have you seen him?” rang the questions from Wyatt and the Charmed Ones.

Aiden nodded his head and closed his eyes. He knew where that Demon was. He’d seen him in the battle of Diagon Alley. “Britain, that Demon was one of the one’s that attacked Diagon Alley.” sighed Aiden as he opened his hard eyes.

“Well it looks like the Demon Counsel has sent one of the Lords over to watch. And report back.” Wyatt hissed as he ran his fingers through his hair in anger.

“Which means…” Phoebe and Piper said together


“They would have taken prisoners….” Paige began


“To the Underground” snarled Wyatt

“And that means what?” Aiden asked in confusion.

“We’re going to have to find out how many there are and get them out!” Wyatt stated with authority.

“CHRISTOPHER HALLIWELL, I WYATT, KING OF MAGIC DEMAND YOU HERE!”

Aiden watched as several orbs entered the room. Leaving before him a male with short brown hair and hazel eyes. That must be Chris was his only thought.

“Damn it Wyatt, I was in the middle of a date with Marcus. You know what happens when you go all royal on people. I was just pulled out in the middle of a movie.” snapped Chris as he lounged at Wyatt.

Everyone froze at what happen next. Aiden hands went out and turned silver as he stopped Chris in mid air. He wasn’t about to let this man touch Wyatt.


“What the fuck!” growled Chris as he found himself frozen. He looked at his Mom and Aunts and realized they were as shocked as himself. When he looked back at his brother. He noticed Wyatt was wearing a big smile. “Let me go Wyatt, this isn’t funny.”

“I’m not the one holding you there, brother-mine.” Wyatt stated with amusement.

“What? Then who?” gasped Chris as his eyed widened in surprise.

“Me!” hissed Aiden as he moved to stand beside Wyatt still holding Chris in place with his magic.

“Who and what are you?” Chris demanded as he narrowed his eyes on the one that was using magic on him. He couldn’t believe this slip of a male held enough power to hold him.

“My name is Lord Aiden Kai Salazar Kage, High Sorcerer and you need to learn to control your temper young witch.” growled Aiden as he released his hold on Chris. After being pulled into an embrace by Wyatt.


“By the Goddess Wyatt, why didn’t you tell us about this?” stated Piper in shock. She nor her sisters had ever come in contact with a High Sorcerer in their lives.

“Because, Aiden doesn’t use his magic unless he feels threatened. Or someone he’s close to is threatened. He seen Chris’s attack toward me as a threat. “ Wyatt stated with authority.

“Wyatt is correct my Lady and I’m registered with the Ministry of Magic in America as a High Sorcerer. “ Aiden stated strongly. I can’t believe, it now they’re afraid of me, he thought as he noticed the sudden fear in their eyes.

“Don’t mind Piper, Aiden, we’ve never met a High Sorcerer before. And it came as a shock to us. I’m sure you can understand?” Phoebe stated with a slight smile. Trying to get him to relax again. She liked him and from the way her nephew was acting so did he a lot.


“I understand completely. I’d be afraid if I was in your position as well. But I assure you, that I will cause no harm to you or yours. If you noticed my magic only held young Chris from advancing. Nothing more.” Aiden replied with certainty as he moved from Wyatt’s hold.

“That’s true.” Came the reply from the Charmed Ones as they relaxed once more.


The rest on the evening was gathering and making the potions for their trip to the Underground. It didn’t take long for the Charmed Ones to warm up to Aiden. But Chris stayed well out of his reach. That bothered Aiden some. But there was more important things that needed his attention.


Aiden was taken out of his thoughts when someone knock on the study door.
“Enter!” he coldly replied.

Harlen shivered when he heard the coldness of Lord Kage’s voice. He knew this was the mate to their King. And he was nice most of the time. But lately he’d been down right mean.

“Lord Kage, the Lady Narcissa is asking to talk with you.” gulped Harlen as he’d seen the Lord’s eyes grow cold as ice.

Aiden closed his eyes to get a hold of his anger, he felt rising. “Bring her to me.” he stated with bite. And as the young guard was about to leave he spoke again.

“Harlen, I know I’ve been in a right temper lately. But just to let you know, it’s not you or the other guards. It the Malfoy’s.” He stated with a warm smile.

Harlen sighed as he relaxed. He was glad that he nor the other’s were the ones to raise his temper. They were getting worried and now he could ease their minds. “Thank you, Your Grace, I’ll pass the message to the other guards and bring the Lady before you.”


“That’s much appreciated Harlen, you may go.” Aiden remarked warmly

Narcissa was a right mess. She needed to talk to Kage and had sent one of her guards with the message. She was startled when the guard returned.


“Follow me, My Lady his Grace will see you now.” Harlen stated as he motioned her out into the hall.

“Good” stated Narcissa calmly as she followed behind him quietly.


When they reached the door Harlen knocked. And when he heard “Enter” he opened the door to announce her. When he came back she was ushered in quickly and quietly. Before the door was closed behind her. She knew that the guard was right outside waiting for her to finish with the Lord of the Castle.

“You requested my audience, My Lady?” Aiden stated as calmly as possible

“Yes Kage, I have some news and would like your advise?” Narcissa replied softly as she seated herself before him.

Aiden said nothing, just motioned with his hand for her to proceed. He was started to take on a lot of Wyatt’s habits when he addressed people.

Narcissa bristled at the young man. She didn’t like the way she was being treated at all. But knew there was no way around it. She just wished Kage would pick a mood and stay there. “ I’ve received a letter from Severus Snape.”

That had gotten Aiden’s attention. He had sat straight up and leaned forward slightly. “And, what had Severus to say?”


“He was glad that I found a way to keep Draco out of the war. And that it was not advisable to send him any more correspondence. Because both Lucius and the Dark Lord seemed to think he knew more than he was telling them.” Narcissa stated with authority.


“What? You mean to tell me, that after both myself and Wyatt told you both not to send anything to anyone in Britain. You did so anyway? Do you have any idea what could have happened. What if your letter was taken by someone else before it had gotten Severus first? Severus is a spy , a damned good one. But still a spy. Did you even think of what might have happened if he was caught. Or did you just think about yourself? I can’t deal with you right now. Get Out! snarled Aiden at the end as he pointed at the door, demanding she leave.

“No I won’t let you throw me out!” Narcissa screeched as she moved slamming her fists on his desk. “You don’t understand I may have been married to Lucius. But Severus is my mate. How dare you tell me that I could have caused him harm!”

“I dare, because if you’d have come to me. I would have made sure he received your letter with out any chance of it being nicked by another. For I would have had my Goblin Manager bring him into Gringotts where he would have been safe. And now thanks to your stupidity I’ll have to offer him Sanctuary. Now GET OUT! Aiden roared as he then pulled her out of his study.

Harlen jumped when Lord Kage roared at the woman. He agreed with him, that woman caused more harm than good with her letter. And waited until the door opened. He shivered at the helix of power that ran through Kage. And the power that glowed in his eyes. No doubt that this Lord is the mate to our King he thought as he waited instructions.

“Take her to her suite and make sure she stays there. As of this moment she is not allowed out of there. And make sure her son‘s guards are made aware that Draco is not allowed out of the castle until further notice as well.” snarled Aiden as he pushed Narcissa toward the guard before teleporting out loudly.

“You’ve just caused yourself and son a very huge problem.” Harlen stated boldly as he walked her back to her rooms.


Narcissa said nothing. She was still angry at Kage for treating her that way. She didn’t think that Kage would do anything to harm her or her son. He just needed to calm down and then she could explain her reasons.

A hour later, Draco was pissed when he was told he was no under house arrest. He couldn’t even see his Mother because she had done something to piss off Potter. Oh yes Kage was still Potter in his mind and nothing would change that.

Avalon Castle



Aiden Kage was storming through the halls of Avalon Castle on his way to Wyatt’s study. The people inside the Castle were giving him wide berth. They didn’t want to be the one on the end of King Wyatt’s future mates magic.

It was circling him like a storm and the occupants of the Castle could feel the young one’s anger as he passed. What ever had set him off was big. And they didn’t want him to turn his anger onto them.

Once Aiden had reached Wyatt’s study, he didn’t even knock. No, he was too angry and just slammed the doors open not noticing Wyatt was in a meeting with another man.


“I want them out of my Castle and I want them out NOW!” roared Aiden as his body started to shake in his temper.

Wyatt’s eyes widened in shock as his future mate stormed into his study. He noticed Aiden’s magic was wanting release. And when Aiden spoke he jumped up and grabbed him siphoning the extra magic. Wyatt sighed when Aiden went limp in his arms. Looking down he realized Aiden was unconscious.

“Wyatt, what is going on?” came the voice of Leo as he looked upon the smaller man in his son’s arms.

“I’m not sure Dad. We’ll need to wait until he wakes up.” Wyatt sighed as he thought, This was not the way I wanted to introduce Aiden to my Father.

Not twenty minutes later Aiden began to stir. “Did anyone catch that train that hit me.” He groaned as he began to sit up. He thought back to what could have happen. And then his memories came crashing back, the meeting with Narcissa and him storming into Wyatt’s study and darkness. Oh shit! he thought before opening his eyes. To see Wyatt and a unknown man sitting in the room.

“Finally awake my own?” came Wyatt’s concerned voice.

“I’m sorry Wyatt, I didn’t think. I was angry and I needed a outlet.” Aiden replied sheepishly as he looked at him and the other.


“I see, will get to the reason for your temper in a minute. But first I’d like to introduce you to Leo. He’s one of the Elders or as you would call him Angels of Heaven. He’s also my Father.” Wyatt stated in amusement as he’d seen Aiden’s face pale at the revelation.

“It’s a pleasure to finally meet you sir. And I apologies for earlier.I really need to control my temper better. Man I feel like a right arse.” whispered Aiden as he stood to take Leo’s hand.



“There’s no need for the apology. We’ve seen worse, especially if you’d ever met Christopher you’d understand my meaning. You had us worried when you collapsed though.” Leo chuckles slightly as he took the young man’s smaller hand.


“Sorry about that.” Aiden remarked with a smile as he went to sit in Wyatt’s lap. His magic was still jumping. He sighed when Wyatt wrapped his arms around him kissing the top of his head. As his magic came out to calm him.


“Mind telling us what set you off so badly?” Leo asked with curiosity. He knew that Wyatt had found a mate. But he’d never thought the young man would be this small or powerful.

“Two people are in my home. Narcissa is a full Elf and Draco is half. Wyatt had granted them Sanctuary from Britain and I’ve known one of them for years. And decided to let them stay with me under guard. But today Narcissa informed me that she’d been in correspondence with Severus Snape. A spy for the Light side. After Wyatt and myself told her there was to be no correspondence what so ever. All because of the Civil War over there. It was for her safety, and Draco's as well are ours. And then had the nerve to tell me that Severus was her mate and I had no right to deny her sending that letter.” Aiden finished with growl.


“Does she not understand the importance of gaining Sanctuary. The lack of correspondence is one of many that you’re denied when you accept Sanctuary from Avalon.” remarked Leo as he watched the two before him.


“She knew all the rules. Wyatt even gave her a list, when he brought the guards into my home. And know since Severus had always believed in me when others didn’t. I feel obligated to make sure he’s alright and remains so. But I still want those two out Wyatt.” pouted Aiden as he looked up at him with innocent eyes.


“Oh you’re in trouble with this one son. He’s got the puppy look down to a tee.” laughed Leo as he seen his son’s face melt.


“I’ll get them out of your home myown. But I can’t bring them to Avalon if there going to break the rules. I haven't the time to deal with their behavior.” Wyatt stated as he shook his head at Aiden antics.

“That’s fine, I have a penthouse we could throw them in. And enough room for up to a dozen guards.” Aiden beamed with a look of mischief.

“You’re just being evil now aren’t you my own.” Wyatt smiled as he moved Aiden to the seat beside him.


Aiden just shrugged. Before bidding the two good-bye and heading back to his Castle. He had a lot of work to do. Not to mention informing his soon to gone occupants of there new home.

“Well what do you think Dad? Does he have your approval?” Wyatt asked with eyes full of hope.


“I think that between the two of you, Avalon couldn‘t hope for better rulers. ” stated Leo with a smile, before orbing away.

“Thanks Dad, your opinion was always the one I trusted most. Right after Magic‘s of course. ” whispered Wyatt as he went to pull more guards for the Malfoy’s new home.
