Warning: Bad language and some Potter bashing!!

AN: Sorry about not updating sooner but I had a case of writer's block for this one. Anyway enjoy.

{.....} conversation in INU

Kiba's Quarters


Kiba had finally placed her charge into the spare bedroom, and sat down. She had to think, still not believing what made her want to help Harry. Maternal instincts she thought before dismissing it. She was not mother material, at least not at this point in her life. So what was it? that made her so drawn to the smallest Potter. She knew that the one named Hayden rubbed her wrong and the elder Potters just made her want to use her Assassin training to dispose of them. She was interrupted from her thoughts when her god-father came through the floo.


"Kiba-dear?" Sesshomaru smirked as he noticed the dazed look on her face. 'Hn' was the response he received. That caused his eyebrows to disappear into his hairline.Something is wrong. Kiba is never that distracted. Were the thoughts going through his mind.


"Kiba!" barked Sesshomaru, which caused her to jump out of the chair and immediately assume an attack formation.


Kiba suddenly noticed the presence of her god-father. She smiled slightly shaking her head. "Sorry, Sesshomaru I was in deep thought."


"Indeed. So deep thought that you didn't notice your surroundings. And why is there a smell of lavender in here?"


"Harry," gasped Kiba as she ran from the room.


Narrowing his eyes, Sesshomaru followed suit and went in her direction. What he found caused him to soften his gaze. There sitting before him was his god-daughter holding what looked to be a young pup. "Your distraction I'm to assume."


Kiba had just walked into the room when Harry awakened. And when he saw her. The tears and stress from earlier returned and he crumbled into sobs while she rocked him again.
Until he had fallen asleep again. It was too much stress for his ill body and magic to handle.


"Yes, Uncle come and take a sniff. There's something not right about this Potter. From the medical reports they say his magic is killing him. But I've never heard of anything like that happening." Kiba announced with confusion.


Sesshomaru didn't comment. He walked over a lowered his nose to the boy and sniffed. His eyes had become wide and what he detected. Someone has posioned the boy? He thought as he motioned for her to follow.


Kiba didn't like the way he was acting. But laid Harry back down and followed in silence.
When they reached the living room, Sesshomaru's youki flared in anger before he began tellin her his findings in INU.


{That boy has been posioned. We youkai call it maho-shi. Meaning death by magic.}


{So someone is doing this one purpose god-father mine?} snarled Kiba as he magic tried to release into the room.


{It seems as such.} barked Sesshomaru as he too wanted to track down the one who would harm a pup.


{How do we fix it? And before you answer. I want you to know his a Potter.}


Sesshomaru growled. {I care not. His a pup first a Potter second. The first thing needed is a sample of his blood. We need to find out how long the posion has been inside his system and how much. Then we'll go from that point.}

{Very well, follow me god-father mine.} yipped Kiba as she moved back toward the room the boy was sleeping in.

Harry had woke again, but this time he was alone. He could here some barks and growls that reminded him of a dog. When he was just about to get up the noises stopped. And when the Potions Professor walked in with another, he realised that it was them making those sounds. But that would meanDemons.


"I smell your fear pup. You have no reason to fear me. For I will not harm you." Sesshomaru stated with warmth, that he only used with close family and friends.


"Uncle Fluffy right Harry. He's a harmless puppy." snickered Kiba as she ran on to the bed as Sesshomaru growled in aggitation.


"Harmless, Kiba-dear just you wait until you come into my dojo again. And we'll see who's harmless."


Kiba laughed as Sesshomaru smirked. Harry just sat confused on the bed. He was always told that Demons harmed witches and wizards. But this one seemed ok.


"God-father conseal your features. The one's that the mortals see everyday." Kiba requested as she could feel the confusion on Harry.


Sesshomaru was confused at first until he smelled why. The pup was confused, so he willed his claws away. His ears to become rounded and his markings to vanish.

Harry gasped. Standing before him was the famous Sesshomaru Tashio. He was told to be the wealthest in Japan and a muggle. But that wasn't right. Because he had seen the man before him moments ago and he had been a demon.


"Yes, Mr. Potter, I am Sesshomaru Tashio the wealthest of Japan. However, I'm no human or mortal or as you wizards say muggle."


Harry noticed when he had said muggle. It seemed as if the word was distastful on his tongue.


"Harry, there are many magical beings that find the word muggle a swear word. They won't use it. When the speak of anyone without magical blood they say human or mortal." Kiba explained slowly so he would understand.


"I understand. I gather neither of you like that word.(Both Sess and Kiba nodded yes) Ok I won't use it. Anyway why am I here and not my room?" Harry asked with kindness, the fact there was a demon in the room didn't bother him anymore.


"We need to draw some blood Harry from you. We know what's making you sick. And we're going to try and fix it." Kiba stated with determination.

"Really?" sniffed Harry as he watched the two nodded yes. "Ok" he sniffed as he held out his arm.


Kiba used a simple spell to extract the blood into two different vials. When finished his arm healed without a scar. And he watched as Kiba handed one to Sesshomaru and she kept one herself.


"Next I want to know if you would like to become my Apprentice?"


Harry looked at her for a moment and then Sesshomaru. He seen the man nod to take the oppotunity. "Yes, I'll be your Apprentice Professor."


"Excellant, well you rest for a bit longer while I show Uncle Fluffy out. And gather the paperwork for you to sign. Then I'll be back and we can get something to eat." Kiba smiled as she walked out with a grumpy Demon behind her.


"What am I doing Uncle?" Kiba whispered as she pointed toward where Harry was resting.


"You're doing what you were born to do." Sesshomaru stated crypticly as he flooed away.


Kiba grabbed the papers he had left for her. When she had called earlier about them and went back to have Harry sign them. After they were signed and each had a copy and I owled to the Ministry they settled down for a light meal. Then went their seperate ways, Harry back to his dorm suite and Kiba to her own bedroom.


Before she settled into bed. She couldn't get what her god-father said before he left.
You're doing what you were born to do? She had no clue what she was born to do. And why would that envolve Harry Potter?
