I do not own Harry Potter, nor any of the characters from the books or movies. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
Piggy In The Middle
Mary: Glad you loved it. I hope you love this update.
Hilda Malfoy: Yep, it is difficult, they’re both wonderfully hot! I hope you love this chapter.
La Bibliographe: LOL! I am so pleased you quoted that line in your reply. But yeah Hermione can’t seem to keep her legs closed with those two can she? But who can blame her? I’d say Ron/Pansy are getting on famously. Well, Snape was pretty convincing... I suppose Lucius would be a little self-delusional... after all, why would a girl sleep with anyone else but him? I loved writing that scene that has been in my head for about four years believe it or not. Even before I started reading fan fiction.
Michiko: Hmm, exactly how is a girl to decide. I am a Snape lover to. I had to bring in a rival though that could match up to Lucius and Blaise just wasn’t it. Who will win her indeed?
BuffyXO: How will Hermione decide indeed? Well, even I don’t know. My stories tend to develop a life of their own.
Angelnomiko: Nope, no Ménage a trois in my stories. Besides Lucius is the type I don’t see as a sharer... neither would Snape. They’re both too selfish for that. I hope you like this chapter.
Northstar: I hope you love this chapter to. She’s not having much fun at the moment I can tell you that for starters.
Catysmom: I hope this was soon enough.
Lilbitbord: Don’t worry your secrets safe with me. But thanks, yes, the sexy image of Snape has been there with me for years so I had to incorporate it in one of my fics somewhere.
Kira: That is answered in this chapter. I hope you like it. I also hope you are just as excited about this update.
DB1: I agree. They are both highly sexy.
Gaps of Misery: Well I’ve never watched an episode of Dawsons Creek but it seems like I don’t have to. Thank you for comparing it to that though, as it has good reviews... But yes it is more a question of Who isn’t getting any at this point isn’t it? The wink made me faint to. Well, lets just say they’re tighter in a certain area that makes me NEED the cold shower... J! Well, make sure you leave plenty for Hermione, as she’s going to need it.
Piggy In The Middle
Hermione had her head on the table groaning. She pushed her hair over her face so that no one could see her. She was grateful for having long bushy hair for once. She just wanted the ground to swallow her whole. Her Potions lessons started off weird and descended into surrealism after that.
Snape’s attitude didn’t improve after the wink, he was charming, helpful to everyone but he concentrated his efforts with her. He asked her some of the oddest questions: “What did you think on the new discovery of wormwart?” “Do you believe that there could be twelve more uses of Dragon’s Blood? I seriously think there is. Albus just started it, but I’d like to finish that work, wouldn’t you?” “I wonder what you’re opinion is of Septima Scrubb’s new discovery for healing burns?”
Although Hermione felt that he was laying it on a little too thick, she couldn’t help but answer the questions put to her. Harry, Ron, Draco and Pansy watched the show with fascination. Draco and Pansy looked at each other and winked. Their Slytherin instincts kicked in at full throttle and both knew what Snape was up to. Pansy found the show rather funny. She was still a little jealous of the muggleborn but Pansy knew that at least one eligible male didn’t fancy the brunette. Blaise was watching with a sad heart.
Just when the bell rang Severus walked around the benches collecting the potions of the students and saved Hermione till last. He collected her potion and left a note on her desk. She picked it up and read it. She blushed.
I want to make mad passionate love to you in front of the entire school. I want to show the boys of this place what a true woman you are and how to do it... won’t that be fun?
She hastily pocketed it and was about to leave the room when he bade her stay for a few minutes. Everyone filed out of the room including Harry, though he loitered a little concerned for his friend, which Snape found to be irksome. Just because he was now innocent due to the brat it didn’t mean he still liked Potter any the less, in fact he hated the damned boy more for dragging him back here. At least Hermione had the thoughtful sensitivity to grow up!
“I must admit I was genuinely impressed with your answers,” Severus admitted.
“Would you have been a year or even a month or so ago?” Hermione asked acidly.
“Yes,” he replied honestly.
Hermione sighed, she wanted to believe him but there was some tiny voice telling her that it could be part of the game she was now playing with him. She was about to talk to him about something that was truly nagging at her mind but Lucius walked into the room.
The blond Wizard froze in his tracks. He regarded Snape’s clothing with an ill concealed sneer. He wondered where Snape had gotten the clothes from in such a short space of time. She looked between the two men and wanted nothing more than to walk out of the room.
Lucius walked up to Hermione and stood behind her placing a hand on her shoulder, showing the raven-haired man that she was his.
“Come on, Hermione, I need to talk to you.”
Hermione felt his hand slide down her arm. She was aware of someone taking her hand but Severus did nothing to stop Lucius from taking her out of the room. Lucius smiled smugly at the other man. He knew Severus was too cowardly to fight for her.
He walked her down the corridor and found an empty classroom. He shoved her in there.
“I know what you did with Snape last night, Hermione,” Lucius hissed.
Hermione blanched. “But -!”
“Silence, let me finish!” Lucius paced up and down the room running his hands through his long, silvery blond hair. “I know Severus, and, yes he can be quite the philanderer when he puts his mind to it. I am not blaming you. You are, after all, young and relatively untried. But if I hear or see you with him again after this little talk – well – you know.”
Hermione knew. Lucius had warned her before of his rather jealous nature. She closed her eyes just thankful that she wasn’t hexed to oblivion. Lucius walked up to her and wrapped his hands around her arms. She looked up not being able to hold the tears back any longer. She started to cry.
“He just started,” she sobbed. “I wanted to say no. I really did. In fact I was going to come and see you but he turned up and I was either too scared or too curious to chuck him out. I wanted you, I really did!”
Lucius gathered her in his arms and wrapped his arms around her and sniffed her hair. Severus will pay for confusing her more so than she already was!
“You’re going to have to build your defences against him!” Lucius said.
“Unfortunately, Hogwarts doesn’t teach Defence Against Severus Snape,” Hermione said.
Lucius chuckled and Hermione did to. “That would be useful to teach to the young female population, at least.”
“Lucius,” she sighed. “I still can not understand why you would want to spend the rest of your life with me.”
Lucius stroked her hair and tilted her chin up so that she could look in his eyes. “I think you’re special,” he murmured. “Besides,” he purred. “I want so much to see how you would look as an older woman.”
Hermione scoffed. “I could give you a photograph of my mother’s mother,” she said.
Lucius threw his head back and laughed heartily. She smiled a little and looked at him. She looked at the door and then at her watch.
“What’s the matter?” Lucius asked.
“I’ve got a few minutes,” she whispered in his ear.
Lucius smiled against her neck and turned his head so as he spoke his warm breath fell down her neck.
“Naughty, naughty,” he purred as he took her lobe between his lips and started sucking on it causing her to quiver with delight. He was about to kiss along her jaw when the door opened and a voice called:
“Who did Peeves see walk in here?
Was it peachy teachy?
Was it creepy crawly?
Was it burner learner?
Or is it beasty weasty?
Who did walk in here?
Will anyone answer Peeves question?
I suppose Peeves best find out for himself.”
Hermione froze on the spot. Lucius winked at her and flicked his wrist at the door and she heard a splat the other side of the door.
“Peeves never messed with me if he could help it,” he informed the younger woman.
“I can imagine,” she said. She checked her watch again. “Now, I really must go.”
“Must you?” Lucius asked clamping her tightly to his body. “I think we’ve got more time.”
Hermione laughed and pushed him away. “If I am pregnant with your baby then I had best get some food inside me. You do want it to have strong start in life don’t you?”
Lucius rolled his eyes. He really should have paid attention to what he was doing that night. At least he had a few more years with Narcissa although it didn’t work after Draco was born. But he was pleased the first three years of his marriage.
She walked out of the room unwittingly swaying her hips giving Lucius a show of her pert bum wiggling with her step. Lucius licked his lips at the thought of one day kissing that area.
This was how people found her. Bringing the doubtful existence of a child into her conversation with Lucius made her realise just how much of a slut she was.
“Hermione,” Ron’s familiar carefree voice yelled.
She groaned. “What’s wrong, honey?” Ginny said lifting up her hair.
“Go away,” Hermione mumbled. Ginny shrugged her shoulders.
Harry walked in and ran to Ginny and hugged her, shortly followed by Draco who saw Hermione face flat on the table with her hands wrapped around her head to prevent anyone from lifting her hair again. He grinned wickedly. It was just too damn tempting. He crept up behind lifting a finger to his lips; Ron narrowed his eyes, and Harry was chewing his lip.
Blaise was looking across the way from the Slytherin table rather solemn, and miserable. He too had watched the whole act between his father and Hermione. Snape knew full well his feelings for her and yet he was practically flirting with her. Blaise now looked at Draco the worm of jealousy eating away at the apple of his heart.
He got up silencing everyone in the Hall. Blaise looked taller than his normal six feet. He loped across to Hermione and Draco and got his wand out blasting Draco away from her. He pushed Harry and Ginny out of the way and picked Hermione up by the elbow. He needed to have a serious talk with her! If he could not have her as a lover he’d like to be her confidante, at least. Besides, she was dealing with Slytherins; it was always wise to have a Slytherin on your side.
She had barely time to register what was happening to her when she realised she didn’t have her bag and she was being shoved in an alcove. Damn Scottish stone!
“What’s going on, Mia?” Blaise whispered in her ear.
“What do you mean?” she said sluggishly. She thought Blaise was going to give up.
“I care about you, Mia,” he hissed. “Even if I understand I can never touch you the way I want to, I still care for you Hermione. I watched today’s lesson a little more than others,” he sighed. “What have you been up to my precious Mia?”
Hermione looked up into Blaise’s dark blue eyes and sighed. “I can’t tell you now,” she said. “Come to my room with Pansy, and Draco and I’ll tell all.”
Blaise narrowed his eyes. “Draco?”
“Especially Draco!” Hermione said. “What I have to say concerns him the most.”
Blaise nodded. “Very well, I’ll bring Pansy and Draco along. Why Pansy though?”
“She need’s to know for various reasons.”
Blaise sighed. “Mia, you should have a constellation of stars nay a planet, named after you.”
Hermione giggled. “You should forget about me, there are plenty of girls at Hogwarts besides me.”
“We’ve been through this, Mia.”
Hermione sighed and stroked his elegant cheek. He wanted to kiss her but he pulled back and walked away from her. She sank on the floor wanting more than anything right this moment in time to be left alone. She needed to get to her Charms lesson.
“What did he want?” Ginny asked. “Why did he pull you away? Wow, I never saw a man so much in love.”
Hermione burst out crying. She felt weak and she was shaking. She felt a little ill all of a sudden. Ginny knelt down and picked her up by her hand and felt Hermione’s head with the back of her hand.
“I’ve got to go to Charms.”
“No, you’re going to bed, you don’t feel well.”
“But -!”
“No buts, Hermione, you look like you need to have a sleep.”
“NEWTS are -!”
“Not as important as your health,” Ginny said. She supported Hermione along the corridor, as the young woman seemed to be hit by a jelly legs curse.
Once they reached Hermione’s door, Hermione managed to groan out the Password; Homework , and they walked into the room. Ginny laid Hermione on her bed and Hermione immediately curled up on the mattress and closed her eyes.
Hermione looked absolutely peaceful and Ginny was loath to leave her. She looked at her friend and wondered what had happened to her. It better not be that blond prat she’s got herself ensconced with, the redhead thought fingering her wand with determination. The arrogant waste of space won’t know what hit him!
~*~*~
Hermione woke up from her slumber and it was dark, her throat felt dry, like it was lined with double sided sand paper. She rolled over to her other side and found a pitcher of water and a glass. She reached out and poured herself a glass and switched the lights on in the room. She felt a little better from her nap, though the sick feeling was still there.
There was a tentative knock on the door and Hermione flicked her wand over to the door to open it. Draco, Pansy, and Blaise walked into the room; Harry and Ron followed shortly. She groaned as she remembered she had decided to tell them what exactly was going on. She didn’t find it easy to think straight but this was important. Besides, she needed all the help she could get.
Blaise wanted nothing more than to run up to her and wrap an arm around her shoulders and be her support but he held back. Ron and Pansy were standing the other side of the room so as not arouse suspicion. Harry and Draco both decided to sit down on the sofas provided. Draco wasn’t going to stand on ceremony to some muggleborn, and Harry’s legs were sore after a rather interesting incident in the changing rooms. He had a rather smug smile spread across his face.
“What’s the matter, Granger?” Pansy asked.
Hermione opened her mouth but closed it again. She sighed and squared her shoulders. She summoned up as much of her Gryffindor courage as she could and launched into her confession:
“You know I go into the Forbidden Forest to collect Potion’s Ingredients for Slughorn?” Harry and Ron nodded; they hated him for that. Why he couldn’t face the dangers himself was beyond them! “Well, two weeks ago I met someone as I was gathering ingredients. He kissed me and told me that he’d do more for me the same time next week. A week later I did do more than kiss him... I let him deflower me. It was romantic actually; the moon was shining on a Unicorn and her golden foal, which was rather odd. It was odd, you see, because the man that deflowered me was a Slytherin. A big one!” Ron’s ears turned pink. Harry and Blaise swapped looks. Draco and Pansy tried not to snigger behind their hands at what else those last three words could mean. “The Slytherin that deflowered me was Lucius Malfoy!”
Draco stopped sniggering and looked at her sharply. “I’m sorry,” he said. “My ears must have been blocked... It sounded remarkably like my father’s name.”
“Because, Draco, it was your father,” she sighed glancing quickly at him. “Your father and I are now lovers. But that’s not all.” She quickly looked at Blaise. “As soon as Snape returned he wasted no time in pointing out Lucius flaws to me and presenting his own case. He used my excuse for knowledge in a highly successful attempt at seduction. He said he didn’t care about me but either he lied or has since changed his mind. He’s right about me all along; I am just a silly little girl! Last night he and I – well – twice.”
“No wonder he had a bloody smile on his face!” Draco said sulkily. He’d have a smile on his face if he had her once!
He had realised his chances of seducing her had lessened increasingly when she mentioned his father. They now lay between five feet of crap and rock when she mentioned Severus Snape.
Pansy’s eyes widened considerably. She watched Hermione’s expressions throughout her confessions and realised that she didn’t seem to like the attentions that she was receiving. She smiled a little and tipped her head to one side.
“Well,” she said. “I’ve got to hand it to you, Granger, you could outdo a Slytherin even in this. We all LOVE a good intrigue, and seduction adds to it. I can certainly commend you on your taste of men,” she glanced surreptitiously at Ron who missed it. “And two of the most powerful Wizards of the House, you certainly don’t make it easy for yourself.”
Hermione looked up and stared at Pansy. “I thought you’d have bitch slapped me?”
Draco’s imagination ran wild with the idea of Pansy and Hermione pulling at each other’s hair and fighting each other. In his mind they were both naked too, which caused his eyes to glint maliciously. He stopped thinking when he felt a jab of wood against his throat.
“Whatever you’re thinking, Draco, I’d stop it right about now,” Blaise snarled in his ear.
Draco looked up at his lifetime friend. “Ouch! All right!”
“That’s not the only thing you know,” Hermione sighed. She began plucking at her bedcovers. “I might be pregnant.”
Pansy was in her element. What fun this was going to be she knew it. She squealed in delight and ran up to the bed and jumped on it. She was fairly certain now that Hermione was not going to claim Ronald back so she could relax. There was at least ONE male that was free of her charms.
“That’s great,” she said.
“No it’s not, Parkinson,” Hermione said warmly. “If I am that means I’ll have to marry Lucius Malfoy, and guess what?” she said sarcastically. “He’s insisting on it, pregnancy or no!”
“Well of course he would, Granger,” Draco drawled. “He knows the rules and laws as much as anyone. It was, in fact, our ancestor that brought that law into force in the sixteenth century when a woman wouldn’t marry him when she was pregnant with his child. He made the law so she had no choice.”
“You mean that law is your fault?” Ron asked almost wanting to smack the blonds face in.
“It’s typically Malfoy, Ron, please don’t do anything. My head’s hurting enough as it is,” Hermione said. She smiled weakly. “Just accept it!”
“So, what are you going to do?” Harry asked.
“That’s why I asked you all over here,” she said. “I need help. Draco, I am relying on you. I’ll do anything for the favour, and I mean anything.”
Draco’s ears twitched at that. He had always wanted her to beg.
“Yes, Granger?” he asked.
“Can you please convince your father that I am not right for him? as you must know I am not. Emphasise my flaws as you’ve been doing.”
The young blond widened his eyes. “You want me to go against my father?” he gulped.
“What’s the problem with that? I do it all the time. The amount of arguments I’ve had with my mother about coming to Hogwarts, particularly after a certain incident!”
Draco looked down on the floor and scuffled his feet slightly against the edge of her rug.
“ Your parents can’t kill you!” he mumbled.
“Hmm, well, they can cut me off completely leaving me with no money to survive, Draco, and I think you have your own interests to protect here. I am probably having a baby that could take away the attention from you and half your fortune. This is entirely for your benefit.”
Draco looked up sneering. “Is that what you think of me?”
“It’s what your attitude has led me to believe.”
Draco was stumped, not at all expecting that reply. “What if I don’t mind having a half brother or sister?”
“Half in all respects,” Hermione said.
Draco got up off the seat. The idea almost appealed to get her away from his father but he knew his father like she didn’t. He paced up and down and walked up to her and sat on the bed, he took her hands in his and looked into her eyes.
“Listen, I might have simple, basically carnal reasons to want to help you not to marry my father but I can’t. I do love my father you know and I have never seen him as happy as I have done the past day or so. That smile is genuine. He even ruffled my hair up and told me that I made him proud after dinner. That’s the very first time he ever said that to me. If that’s you that have made that change then I’m sorry but there is another form of selfishness that overrides my carnal desires. I want my father proud of me. I like my father the way he is now, I want to keep that.”
Hermione delved deep into his silvery blue eyes. His blond fringe flopped over his brow. Hermione was tempted to brush the fringe aside but he was holding both her hands in his. She sighed.
“You’re beautiful, Draco.”
Draco snorted. “Typical! You notice me now !”
Hermione laughed and blushed, she tilted her head down. Draco had never seen her so beautiful before.
“Hermione,” Draco sighed. “I don’t think I’d mind you being my step-mother.”
“As long as you don’t call me mum!”
“So does that mean we get to kick Snape?” Harry asked.
Hermione sighed. She was only going to make things more complicated by showing them this note. She took it out of her bag and gave it to Draco. He took it and his smile did not hide what he was thinking.
“I wish it was that simple,” Hermione said. “Ever played Piggy In The Middle?” Everyone shook their heads. “Well, it’s this game of three players. One of them stands in the middle and the two other players try to get the ‘Piggy’ on their side. It’s a silly game but it’s fun. This time, though, it isn’t fun as I want to be on both sides at the same time.”
“You mean you actually LIKE Snape?” Harry scoffed.
“Are you kidding, Potter!” Pansy exclaimed. “They do have a lot in common, and didn’t you hear those questions he was asking her and catch what he meant in one of them? He was practically making love to her brain!”
“And it made me almost ‘cum’,” Hermione replied. “Besides those trousers!”
“I know,” Pansy said. “Wow, and the way he swaggered in showing off his butt. There had to be something attractive about him, what’s it like in the flesh?”
Hermione giggled and blushed. All the men yelled out: yuck, as one. Draco jumped off the bed.
“I respect that you need to be happy,” he began. “But if you make my father miserable...” he left the threat hanging. Hermione understood completely and sighed. He walked out of the room followed by Blaise, Harry and Ron. Ron looked at Pansy but realised she was talking to Hermione.
~*~*~
Pansy walked out of the Head Girls room with a smile on her face. She had always thought of Millicent Bulstrode as a good and decent friend but Hermione was – fun! No wonder so many guys went after her. She was rather infectious once you pushed the blood barrier aside.
Her descriptions of Snape were fantastic. She didn’t leave out any detail, causing Pansy to snigger dirtily. She was almost close to confessing her fledgling relationship with Ronald. She had told Ron that it was just for fun but she wasn’t sure now. She had the best sex she ever had with him and she wanted more of it.
She didn’t want to fall in love with him. She wanted it to be just for casual kicks but one thing was certain in the dark haired Slytheriness’ mind. If she saw another girl make her way towards him she’d tear her rivals nails out of her fingers with her teeth! Pansy Parkinson wasn’t going to tolerate rivals any longer.
~*~*~
Hermione lay flat on her bed; she was desirous of a bath and some chocolate. She crawled out of the bed dragging her covers with her leaving them trailing onto the floor. She walked into the bathroom and turned the taps on and picked up some bubble bath. She entered her bedroom and picked up her bedcovers when a voice whispered in her ear.
“Allow me!”
“Severus?” she asked.
“I loved the way you described my anatomy to Miss Parkinson, but I don’t think Witch Weekly has a Biggest Penis award... not family friendly.”
Hermione’s jaw dropped. “You heard everything?”
“A lot of it I already knew,” he explained. “So you’re trying to stop either of us for caring about you?”
She felt arms wrap around her waist. She craned her neck to see him but he was invisible. Disillusioned! Damn! She felt his hands slide down her stomach and one of them cupped her femininity and the other slide under her top.
“Severus, please, don’t do this to me!”
“Why not?” he asked.
Hermione was about to reply when her bedroom door was flung wide open and Lucius stormed angrily in the room. He pointed his wand at Hermione’s direction revealing Snape and he chucked him off his Witch.
“You really are pushing your luck, Snape!” Lucius snarled. “I’ve a good mind to send you to the Dark Lord.”
“No,” Hermione said. “Lucius, it’s my fault.”
Lucius turned around and saw her open expression. “Like hell it is!”
He shoved Severus up against the wall knocking her table in his careless anger. Her hair clips and make up all crashed to the floor. She just sank on the floor holding her head in her hands. She was this close to opening the window and jumping from it.
“At least Hermione and I have common interests and fairly common experience’s, which makes us more compatible, and more interesting. What do the two of you have in common?” Snape asked.
It was a question that Hermione had been thinking herself. Snape was right she did have a lot in common with the former Head of House. She looked up and made up her mind:
“If I am not pregnant, Lucius, then I won’t marry you,” she took a deep breath. “Severus is right. I do have a lot in common with him. If you can think of things that we have in common then I may be persuaded to think otherwise.”
Lucius arms dropped down in limp dejection. She looked so small and so frail sitting on the floor that it wasn’t possible that she could be the same girl that had boldly faced him in the Ministry.
“I will have you, Hermione, I will!” with that pronouncement he walked out of the room and slammed the door.
Severus walked up to her and bent his knee. “We have to be careful, Hermione!” He tilted her chin up and kissed her on the lips. “I just hope that you’re not pregnant.”
Hermione hoped that she wasn’t too but she couldn’t get Lucius determined expression and words out of her head. She realised that she was going to have to rely on more than just her friends for this one. They could only do so much!
A/N – I am pleased by the amount of responses of this story. So, Hermione had a committee meeting to see what could be done. No one was any the forthcoming with stopping it though. What’s going to happen now? What will Lucius do next? What will Snape do next? Whatever happens next, it better be good!
PS: Please, if you all felt sorry for Kingsley in Experience for not getting Hermione then I have started a Kingsley/Hermione story please read and review that one as well if you like Experience I think you should like that one!
