Summary: Severus has been captured by Aurors for the murder
of Dumbledore and the rape of Hermione. He requests something unusual and the
lives of everyone will never be the same.

Chapter 11: The Capture

            An owl
dropped off the letter to Ron, who was hiding in one of Voldemort’s hiding
spots. He took the letter and read it, his face going red.

   “Wormtail,” Ron
hissed.

His former pet appeared and glanced at him.

   “What is it?”

   “I’m leaving,” Ron
said. “Make sure that dinner is ready for me when I come back.”

And he was gone.

            Meanwhile
Nymph and Kingsley were waiting in a hiding spot near the entrance to the Atrium.
They knew they had to wait until he showed up before taking him. Sure enough he
appeared and both Aurors made themselves known.

   “You’re coming with
us, Ronald,” Nymph told him.

He glared at her, but he knew that he had been beaten.

            No one that
Severus knew was there when Ron was taken to Azkaban. He had a lot of things to
get ready for and didn’t have time for a small trial. He had seen enough of the
courtrooms to last him a lifetime. He also wanted to work on a way to get
Hermione’s memories back before she did something that she would end up regretting.
She decided to go to the Headmistress about this.

   “I think it’s a
wonderful idea,” Minerva said. “When are you getting started?”

   “I’ve already
gotten started,” Severus said. “I just wanted to let you know what I was doing.”

Minerva smiled at him.

   “You don’t need permission
to start work on something,” she told him. “Let’s just hope that it does work
out.”

   “Thanks.”

   “And
what about that cup?”

   “I’m working on
that as well,” he said. “I just need Potter to help me.”

   “Of course,”
Minerva said. “I’ll let him know that you need him.”

Severus thanked her and then left.

            Harry was
surprised when he returned from the Ministry to find that Severus needed him.
He took the letter and then headed to his office. When he knocked Severus told
him to enter. When he entered the room, he saw that it had been sit up with a
large circle and several different items. He didn’t understand what this was
all for, but knew that Severus would explain.

   “I’m glad that you’ve
come,” he said. “Now, were doing something a little different then what your
use to, so please bear with me. Now, I decided to go after the snake instead of
the cup first. Were going to do a small wiccan ritual in order to get it. It’s
very old magic and one that Tom won’t be able to figure out.”

Harry nodded.

   “Step inside the circle
and we’ll get started.”

Harry stepped inside and Severus closed it.

            Severus
started to chant different things first with the circle and then with the
different items. Harry saw that they represented the different elements. Earth,
air, fire, and water. He then said words that Harry had never heard before and
a crackle of energy that made Harry want to jump, but he couldn’t move. Then
Nagini was there and she wasn’t happy.

Note: I have a theory about how Godric, Rowena, Helga, and
Salazar knew how to do magic. I think they might have had an early foundation
in what isn’t shown in J.K.Rowlings world. Well that’s only my guess.
