Happy 22
The next twenty-four hours were a blur to all the residents of the Burrow. They had all left the Leaky Cauldron ater a long morning where they had talked, explained and eaten.
They had arrived back home at about three in the afternoon. They had eaten some sandwitches and drunk some alcohol and then they all retreated to their seperate bedrooms. Well, semi seperate.
Ron and Avril had climbed into their bed and found ways of tiring their bodies more than they already were.
Sirius and Remus had talked and then fallen into each other's arms and then Remus's bed.
Harry and Draco had worshipped each others bodies until they could worship no more and fell into blissfull sleep in each others arms.

Harry woke to see Draco proped up on one elbow, watching him. He streached and yawned. "Good morning." He said and smiled. Draco leaned down and kissed his lover. It was a slow sensual kiss between two souls that knew each other like they were an extension of themselves. Harry entwined his fingers in Draco's silken blonde hair. They let tongues explore and hands rome. They finally pulled away and Harry was content to just lay there and stare at Draco. He contemplated how much their relationship had changed. His memory flashed to the train before their sixth year when Draco had broken his nose. He smiled.
"What?" Draco whispered.
"When you broke my nose on the train in sixth year did you have feelings other than hatred for me? Were you really that loathsome of me or was it sexual tension?" Harry teased.
Draco poked him playfully, laughing. "I'd forgotten about that. I think that maybe I've always had feeling for you, I just didn't want them, not then anyway. Now is a whole other story. Can I ask a question?"
"You just did but you can ask another one." Harry joked.
Draco smiled. "Do you love me?"
Harry nodded.
Draco sighed. He took Harry's hand in his. He traced his palm and his fingers. "Then I don't know how to say this."
"Drey, you're scaring me." Harry said worriedly.
"You know I love you and when you went missing I just knew then and there that I could never live without you. So I want to promise myself to you forever."
Draco leaned over to the place on the floor where his jacket had dropped the night before. He reached into the pocket and pulled out a black velvet box. He sat up in the bed and looked at Harry. "Will you marry me?"
Harry sat up, open mouthed, a slight smile on his lips. He leaned in and kissed Draco softly. "Yes, on one condition."
"Which is?" Draco asked nervously.
"I don't have to take your name."
"I wouldn't even dream of it! Harry James Malfoy. Hmmm, does have a certain ring to it though."
Harry flung his pillow at a smiling Draco. Draco caught it and the lovers launched into a playfight which ended with Harry and Draco lip locked in an entirely different kind of fight for dominance. Draco pulled away and opened the box. He pulled out a silver band engraved with a golden Snitch. "Seeing as it's one of the few things we've always had in common I thought it was appropriate and less tacky than a H and a D." Draco said as he slipped the ring onto Harry's finger. He raised Harry's hand to his lips and kissed the ring and then the knuckles. He let his lips work their way slowly up Harry's arm and then his neck all the way to Harry's lips. "I love you." He whispered.
"I love you." Harry whispered. Their lips met.
Peace and love reigned in the entwined lives of the Prince of Slytherin and the Boy Who Lived.
