Chapter eleven
Baby trouble eleven
By the time Harry and Ginny had changed back into their human forms, breakfast was over. So Ginny wandlessly conjured her and Harry some toast and pumpkin juice which they ate and drank on the way to care of magical creatures.
Ginny marvelled at her new found gift, wandless magic. It was obvious that gift in particular was accessible to her because she was now fully bonded to Harry. And that gift was a well known heritage of any male or female Potter.
As they continued to walk they ate their toast and drank their pumpkin juice, holding hands. They caught up with Hermione and Ron half way.
Ron asked “What kept you two? You both missed breakfast.” Hermione sighed “Oh Ronald there is more important things to discuss, then breakfast.”
Ron eyed her in disbelief as he asked “such as?” Hermione looked at him incredulously and replied as if she were talking to a three year old “oh I don’t know how about Hogwarts and its foundation just literately shook?”
Harry and Ginny avoided the gazes of their very intelligent friend, and their not so intelligent friend, or in Ginny’s case older brother.
Sacha spoke to Harry ~Master Harry why are you so clearly avoiding telling your friends of your bonding to Mistress
Ginny? ~
Harry sighed but only loud enough for Ginny to hear, who had also heard Sacha’s question to her mate, plus Adelle had asked her a similar question. Harry replied ~I don’t know~
Harry sighed and turned to his two best friends. “Ron Mione, me and Gin would like to talk you both after Potions seeing as we have a free lesson afterwards.”
Hermione asked “of course Harry. What is it that you want to talk to us about?” Ginny told her “just wait until after Potions when we have our free lesson, you’ll find out then I promise.”
Hermione reluctantly agreed, not liking to wait for something she wanted or could not gain certain information from a book.
So at eleven a clock that morning Harry and Ginny lead Ron and Hermione to the room of requirement. Once seated Hermione being Hermione immediately pounced hungry for the details and driven by her first for pure knowledge. Harry explained to an impatient and excited Hermione and a curious Ron.
“Guys, as you already know Ginny and I are soul mates.” At their nods Harry continued “but what you don’t know, something I and Ginny weren’t even aware of until this morning and until after it had actually happened.
In order for us to be bonded as soul mates in every way possible, we had to complete a bonding ritual. A bonding ritual that is easily triggered and completed by the right feelings being revealed and admitted.”
Ginny continued where Harry left off “Harry and I unknowingly completed the ritual this morning, which is why the castle shook. The magical surge that shook Hogwarts was the power surge from mine and Harry’s bonding.”
Hermione asked “so how exactly was this ritual triggered?” Harry replied “because of Ginny and I sharing our first kiss and admitting our feelings for each other.” Both Harry and Ginny blushed when Hermione beamed in delight and Ron grinned like a Cheshire cat.
Ron asked “and what parts of you have been bonded?” Harry replied “we’re bonded, mind, body, soul, magical cores and our lives.
Meaning if I were to be killed Ginny would also die along with me, and visa versa. If I’m mortally injured then so would Ginny, and she would heal when I was healed or visa versa.
The bond is unbreakable and irreversible except by the event of either mine or Ginny’s death or both of our deaths.”
Ron and Hermione’s eyes bugged at hearing this. Ron let out a low whistle and said “whoa that’s some seriously intense shit.” Hermione was far to stunned to scold Ron for his bad language.
Harry and Ginny grinned when saw Hermione was far to stunned to notice and reprimand Ron for his foul use of the English language. Harry said with pure relish “that not all of it either.”
Hermione asked incredulously \"what do you mean that’s not all of it how can that not be all of it?” Ron merely shook his head.
Ginny grinned with just as much relish as her mate as she revealed “well there also happens to be an added bonus bestowed upon each soul mated couple, after the ritual is completed.”
Harry added “after the ritual has been completed by said couple, they are bestowed with the gift of Animagi. And the best part is that you don’t have to spend months brewing a potion to achieve the desired results. The ritual takes care of that step.”
Harry and Ginny grinned like insane Cheshire cats at the expressions of excitement on Ron’s face and the first for knowledge on Hermione’s.
Ron asked “ok then, so what do you two turn into then?” Harry and Ginny grinned and nodded as they stood to face Ron and Hermione completely. Harry and Ginny concentrated on transforming, as it would take a little effort the first few times until they were used to the changing process.
Harry and Ginny would have laughed if they had been able to, when they heard both Ron and Hermione gasp in awe and disbelief.
Hermione breathed in awe “oh my god, your phoenixes. But how is this possible, when no witch or wizard not even Merlin ever became a magical creature when they transformed? Wow this is so incredible.” Ron said “whoa this is so cool, so definitely cool.”
Harry and Ginny changed back, grinning like Cheshire cats in delight.
