Chapter 12
Harry peeked into the first room he came to and he found it empty. He pulled Draco into the room and closed the door behind them. “A little impatient?” Draco asked.
Harry pinned him to the door, “Is it a crime to want a few minutes of privacy with my new boyfriend?” he asked. Harry sucked on one of Draco’s earlobes. “If it is, we can go back to the sitting room.” He pulled back and ran his hands down Draco’s chest. “I’m sure that everyone in the house would have some kind of reaction to us snogging. Even the portraits.”
Draco sucked in a breath as Harry’s fingers grazed a nipple. “No, privacy is good. We don’t need Weasley having a coronary.” He unbuttoned the light robes that Harry was wearing and licked his neck. “I like having you all to myself,” he sighed.
Remus could smell it, the sharp smell of lust and arousal. He knew that it wasn’t coming from Harry, the scent coming from he and Draco was not as strong. It was just the beginning for them. The scent he was tracing through the house was only slightly weaker than the one he got from Sirius. Who ever it was, they were lusting after someone in the house.
“Remus, what’s wrong?” Charlie asked as he walked into the sitting room. Remus sniffed the air then turned toward Charlie.
“I just caught a whiff of something. I’m not sure what it is, or where it’s coming from,” he lied.
Charlie clapped him on the shoulder. “You can pull that with just about anyone, but not me. You know exactly what you smelled, just not where it’s coming from,” he said with a smile.
A shrill scream broke the silence of the house and brought the occupants running into the library. Severus pushed his way through the mass of people and into the room. “What is going on?” he growled. Molly pointed to the large rug in front of the fireplace. Severus looked over and saw Harry and Draco. They were only wearing their boxers, and were sleeping peacefully in front of the roaring fire. Looking at the two, Severus could see several small bruises on their necks.
“Did they kill each other?” Ron asked.
Severus glared at him. “I will take care of this, everyone OUT!”
As the room cleared, he walked toward the sleeping teens. He pulled out his wand and cast a silencing charm over the room then conjured a bucket of water and dumped it on them.
Ginny carried Serena into the sitting room and sat down with her. “And how was your nap, my sweet girl?” she asked the baby. Serena watched the red haired girl as she made faces and played with her toes. “You are lucky, Harry will love you with everything in him. He always wanted a family and you have given it to him. She had just called Winky to get Serena’s bottle when Hedwig swooped into the room and landed on her shoulder.
“Hello Hedwig,” she said. The beautiful owl stuck out her leg and waited for Ginny to take the attached note. When she looked around, there was another owl sitting on the back of one of the chairs. She put Serena down on the blanket that was on the floor and walked over to the owl. “Do you have a message for me?” she asked. The owl gave her a look that resembled Professor Snape’s sneer. Ginny laughed and walked back over to Serena. “I think that we need to take this owl to Professor Snape,” she told the little girl. She looked down at the note in her hand, it was a muggle envelope, written in a soft grey color was the name Harry Potter in shaky letters.
Severus waited until the two had dressed themselves and had sat down in the two straight back chairs he had provided. “What were the two of you thinking?” he shouted. He stalked around them, his robes billowing. “How do you expect me to treat you as adults when you both behave without thinking?” he said. “Did you both forget that there are other people in this house, and that none of us want to walk into a room and see the two of you lying there almost naked?” He ran his hand through his hair, “Did either of you think about the ramifications of what you were doing? Did you think about getting protection?” The two boys sat with their heads down, holding hands. “There are things that aren’t taught at Hogwarts, they don’t teach about male pregnancy. They don’t teach you that you must use protection, even if you prefer men,” Severus dropped down in front of the boys. “They don’t prepare you for it, and I have failed you both by not approaching the subject sooner.”
Draco looked up at his head of house. “Harry and I didn’t have sex, Severus. We’re not ready for that, we just needed to feel close to each other,” he said.
Harry raised his eyes, “I promise you, sir. When we are ready, we’ll come to you for a potion. And we’ll ask questions, Sirius and Remus will be able to answer most of them, and if they can’t we’ll come to you. I’m sure that you’ll know where to get the answer.”
Severus sighed. “You can come to me with any question. Since I have to same preferences, I will be able to answer your questions and give you advice on what potions are the best.”
Harry smiled at his new guardian. “Thank you sir, we’ll be sure to come to you first. That way if anything happens, we’ll have someone to help us.”
Draco leaned over and kissed Harry’s cheek just as someone knocked on the door of the library.
Severus stalked over to the door and threw it open. Ginny Weasley was standing in the doorway with Serena in her arms and an owl on each shoulder. When the snowy white one saw Harry, she swooped down and took the muggle envelope from Ginny’s hand and flew to him. The large brown one swooped over to Severus and held out it’s leg.
Harry and Severus opened their letters and quickly read them. “Sir, I have a problem,” Harry said as he walked over to him.
Severus turned toward him, “You are not the only one, Harry. I must go and get Remus and Sirius. We have to go to St. Mungos and collect Miss. Granger. Her home was attacked and her parents were killed.”
Harry gasped. “Bring her here sir. She is welcome here for as long as she wants to stay.”
Severus nodded and waited for Harry to tell him the problem that his letter had brought. “Harry, what is the problem that you have?”
He handed the letter to Severus. “If you can, could you stop and get him too. I know that he wasn’t nice to me when we were growing up, but I can’t let him stay there and be treated the way I was.”
Severus gathered his robes around himself. “Mr. Dursley will be brought here as well.”
