A/N: OMG, I am sick. It took me at least 2 minutes to type A/N right. I’m gonna go to bed soon. Anyway, thank you so much for ninjette72 you have been my sounding board on this series and you encouraged me when I thought it was really lame. You are one of my best and truest friends. I am so lucky that you introduced me to fandom!

Harry looked around the table. The group had greatly diminished from their original days at Grimmauld Place. A table of ten would seat everyone comfortably.

Ron sat to his right at the head of the table, talking animatedly to Luna about his past year at the Ministry of Magic.

Neville sat directly across from him. Neville had changed perhaps more than any of them. Gone was the insecure boy of their days at Hogwarts. Instead there was a sure and confident young man, comfortable in his own skin. Something that only life and the love of a girl named Hannah could provide. This same Hannah sat next to Neville and they spoke quietly to each other.

Colin Creevey sat to Harry’s left, his camera sitting on the table in front of him. Colin was talking to Fleur Delacour about his new job at “The Daily Prophet” as head photographer. Colin’s eyes had lost the innocence of the boy who had worshiped Harry that second year at Hogwarts. They were now the dark, haunted eyes of someone who had born witness to far too much. Fleur too had changed into a softer version of her former self.

Hell, everyone had changed.

Sitting past Fleur was Terence Higgs, who sat brooding and talking to no one. There was no one left for him to talk to.

Harry looked towards the end of the table where there were two empty chairs. Chairs that should have been filled with any number of people he had known and loved but who had fallen in the War. Sighing, he turned his attention back to those around him who were still among the living.

“I wish I could go back to Hogwarts…” Ron was saying. “Life seemed so simple. We had the Houses and small, petty rivalries…”

Harry smiled at him. “Even fighting Voldemort seemed like a game back then. Everything seemed so easy.”

“Just think, if we were back at Hogwarts we could be sitting up in the Common Room, 4 a.m. before the final Potions lab cursing the world because we hadn’t been studying all along. Hermione moving from person to person to help with a difficult ingredient or potion, even though she could have been in bed long before the rest of us,” Neville offered.

“We could be at one of those crazy parties that the Hufflepuff’s had every once in a while. Seeing who was with who and drinking stolen firewhiskey. Every one of us thinking that we were totally gonna make it in the world,” Hannah added.

Luna reminded them though, “If we were back at Hogwarts, just think how much younger the kids would be. They would look at us all like we were crazy.”

They laughed and then there was silence for a few minutes as each of them drifted off into their own memories. Then Harry said in a voice barely above a whisper:

“Colin, I wish you had taken more pictures.”
