Chapter 12: Alicia’s ‘thing’

Gryffindor girls dorm:

Katie shook her head when Angie offered to refill her pumpkin juice.

“It’s just not the same Kates,” said Alicia as she sipped from her wineglass. “We’re sitting here getting silly and you are drinking juice.”

“I have someone else to think of,” said Katie as she contentedly patted her stomach.

“Tell me the truth,” said Angie seriously in the quiet dorm room. “How do you really feel about the baby, love. Isn’t it frightening?”

“A little,” confessed Katie. “I have decided to take it day by day. My body just feels like I have no control over it. Yesterday in History, I actually started to cry when Binns started on about witch burnings in Salem. Everyone must have thought I was mad. Merlin, look at me, I am getting teary-eyed again thinking about those poor muggle women. And right now, I really really want to have a large chocolate sundae with chocolate sprinkles and hot fudge and bananas. I have been thinking about it for a few hours now. And, the most embarrassing thing is I am…..I really want to see Marcus right now.”

“You mean,” said Alicia with amusement. “You really are gagging for a shag, aren’t you Katie?”

“Yes,” said Katie with a blush. “I am a slave to my hormones. Marcus says that he’ll be glad to take care of those needs. Besides, he would go get me that sundae right now if he wasn’t occupied.” Katie said that last statement with a slight pout.

“Where is he?” asked Alicia.

“Drinking with his mates,” said Katie with a sigh.

“Angie,” said Ally. “How come you and Pucey are keeping your thing such a deep dark secret?”

“Honestly I don’t know,” said Angie as she poured herself another glass of wine. “In the beginning I just didn’t want to hurt Fred. I still don’t. Besides, most of Hogwarts wouldn’t believe that Adrian is being faithful to me so at least I don’t have to deal with the gossips. By the way Katie, how are the gossips treating you?”

“Fine,” said Katie airly.

“Liar,” said Ally perceptively. “Is that slag still calling you names?”

“Which slag,” asked Katie with a tired smile. “The one who called me a gold digging slut from Ravenclaw or that Hufflepuff that called me a broom chasing whore?”

“They didn’t,” said Angie with fire in her eyes. “I’m going to tell those cows a thing or two when I get my hands on them. Or maybe I should tell Flint what they have been saying?”

“No,” said Katie. “Don’t do that!”

“Why not?” asked Alicia with a ferocious frown.

“He’ll do something horrid,” said Katie. “I don’t want him sent to Azkaban. At least the harpies in Slytherin House have been silent.”

“They lost their ringleader in Billy Bletchley, that cow,” said Angie. “And they will not want to make your man angry. They have respect for him. I’ll grant you Katie, your Marcus may be a typical Slytherin but he does inspire respect. Most of those slags wouldn’t dare to say anything to you in front of him.”

“How many people are asking you two if I am pregnant?” asked Katie seriously.

“No one,” said Angie and Alicia loyally.

“Liars,” said Katie with a soft smile. She gazed at her two best friends with teary eyes.

“No crying,” said Angie as she slung an arm around Katie. “No crying or else I will start.” Alicia slung her arm around Katie as well. The girls untangled from each other a few moments later with teary smiles.

“I have to ask formally,” said Katie with a smile. “But you two are going to be my witnesses, aren’t you?”

“When you and Marcus get married?” asked Angie.

“Yes,” said Katie.

“Merlin Katie,” said Alicia with awe in her voice. “You and the Slytherin are really getting married, aren’t you?”

“Yes,” said Katie with a grin at Alicia’s wide eyes.

“It makes it all just so real,” said Angie as she gulped down the rest of her wine.

“You want to know something else,” said Katie as she gave a deep breath. “Marcus and I are moving into his parent’s London townhouse in July. Actually, it’s our townhouse now. Now that makes it all so real.”

“A house, a baby, and a husband,” said Angie with a hesitant voice. “Merlin Katie, you’ve gone and grown up.”

“I know,” said Katie with a shaky laugh as she sipped her pumpkin juice.

“Okay,” said Alicia as she shook her head as if to clear it. “We have to talk about more insubstantial things.”

“Like what?” asked Katie.

“Like my love life,” said Alicia with a grimace. “Or what passes for it. Merlin, I really like George but I have been feeling lately that something is missing.”

“Like what?” asked Angie.

“Is it the sex?” asked Katie with a grin. “I mean it would be hard to do things with someone you have played Quidditch with since you were eleven.”

“What about you and Ollie,” asked Ally.

“See,” said Katie. “I know what I’m talking about. Ollie and I never would have worked even if I didn’t walk….never mind.”

“Finish that sentence Bell,” said Alicia with a glint in her eyes.

“I can’t,” said Katie with a sigh. “I promised.”

“Did you catch Ollie with another…man,” asked Angie as she watched Katie’s face carefully.

“What?” said Katie as her face flushed. “Merlin Ang…. how did you know?”

“Adrian told me about Ollie’s liking for the ‘other team’ as he put it,” said Angelina with a sigh.

“Merlin,” said Alicia with a gasp. “Then that whole Beltane Bash rumour is true.”

“What rumour,” asked Katie curiously.

“I overheard the Ravenclaws going on about Ollie and a Slytherin at their annual Beltane Bash this year,” said Alicia.

“I heard the same one,” said Angie with a speculative look in her eyes. “He and the Slytherin were supposedly snogging in a dark corner. I guess Ollie had his tongue down the bloke’s throat and they were all over each other until one of the Slytherin’s mates came and dragged him off. Supposedly his mate said something along the lines that Flint would fucking kill the other guy if he found out.”

“Who was it?” asked Katie. “Adrian or Terry?”

“I bet a thousand galleons it was Terry,” said Alicia with a giggle. “The tart.”

“I bet he was drunk,” said Katie with a grin. “He has this unfortunate promiscuous streak that comes out when he’s been drinking.”

“You think that’s funny?” asked Angie with a slight frown. “I thought you and Terry had a thing.”

“We may have a thing,” said Alicia with a grin. “But I am not blind to his overall nature Angie. You cannot change a man. So he’s a bit adventurous sexually. It’s part of his charm.”

“Adrian’s like Terry,” said Angie with a dark frown. “Should I be trying to change him?”

“Ang,” said Katie soothingly. “Terry and Adrian are very much alike in some respects, but overall, they are two different blokes. Marcus calls Adrian a moody melodramatic git but when he falls in love he falls hard. He fallen for you.”

“Yes,” said Angie pensively. “But you do know that Terry is the other person Adrian has fallen hard for. He still loves him.”

“I think,” said Alicia with a faraway look. “That you can’t begrudge a man his past loves. You can love someone but in different ways. Adrian and Terry are lifelong friends. It is something you cannot change so why don’t you live with it?”

“I know,” said Angie. She gave a frustrated moan. “You know my love life was not this complicated when I was going out with Fred.”

“Ahh,” said Katie as she thought about Marcus. “But I wager it was not as exciting. But back to George, is he boring Ally?”

“No,” said Alicia with a moan as she buried her face in her hands. “He’s great.”

“Wait one second,” said Katie with a smug smile. “You would not be saying great in that tone of voice if the sex was as good as you say. You can’t fake great.”

“So is Marcus ‘great’,” asked Ally with a roll of her eyes.

“No Alicia,” said Katie seriously. “Marcus is the best. He has done things with his tongue that have literally made me scream.” Then Katie gave a slow smile. She blushed as she remembered a few other things that Marcus did to make her scream. “If another woman laid one fingernail on him I would have to rip her hair out, strand by strand. The sex is not merely great, it’s out of this world.”

“Merlin,” said Angie with a small laugh. “That was a bit too much information.”

“That’s what it was like with Terry,” confessed Alicia. “He got me excited just by standing beside me. If only I could transfer the chemistry I have with Higgs and the friendship I have with George into the same person.”

“You know,” said Katie carefully. “You can’t transfer or create chemistry but you can build a friendship.”

“Terry’s going out with Daria Greengrass,” said Alicia with a moan. “Even though she’s a Slytherin, she’s not an awful person. And he seems to genuinely like her but we still have this thing.”

“Maybe you should try to talk your thing out with him calmly and rationally,” said Angie.

“He makes me weak,” said Alicia softly.

“Talk to him,” said Katie. “Before you hurt George.”

“Yes, I will,” vowed Alicia.

“But back to important things,” said Katie as she turned puppy dog eyes on her best mates. “I desperately need my sundae.”

“Okay, okay,” said Angie as she got to her feet. “But I’ll make it an extra large one Katie. You are going to have to share.”

“Really,” said Katie with a pout. “Why don’t you bring two. I’ll eat all of mine and you can share the other with Ally.”

“Does the baby really need that much chocolate?” asked Ally with a smile.

“Yes,” said Katie. “And you mustn’t forget the chocolate sprinkles, bananas or the fudge.”

Later that Night: The Slytherin dungeons:

“Merlin Adrian,” whispered Terry as he threw his arm around his mate. “Who do you think Derrick shagged?”

“Terrence, you tart,” said Adrian with chuckle. “Thinking of snogging Derrick, are you?”

“Maybe,” said Terry flirtatiously.

“Don’t be daft,” said Adrian affectionately. “You do know that it’s Tarquin that Derrick’s been to bed with, don’t you?”

“Really,” said Terry as he looked over towards the two beaters that were currently downing shots of tequila.

“I have an announcement,” said Marcus as he got to his feet unsteadily. “We have a mission.”

“What mission,” asked Alec suspiciously. “Snape’s been jumpy lately with all the Sirius Black nonsense. Nothing that will get us expelled?”

“Nope,” said Marcus with a glint in his dark blue eyes.

“What is your wish, mon captaine,” asked Tarquin with a smirk.

“Let’s go use these permanent sticking charms, I just happen to know and go glue everything in the Gryffindor broom shed to the ceiling,” said Marcus with a mischievous glint in his eyes.

“MaGonagall will go absolutely bats Marcus,” said Tarquin with a note of awe in his voice.

“The old trout will never find out that it was us,” said Marcus.

“I hate to point it out but we would be the prime suspects,” said Terry as he smothered a giggle.

“Oh ye of little faith,” said Marcus as he shrugged on his cloak. “Argus, is at this moment, enjoying a fine bottle of scotch in his office. I gave it to him today as a good bye present. I have spent a few hours with Filtch, you know, during detention. My dear cousin, Snape, is currently in London enduring a dinner party at the Malfoy’s townhouse. I have pre-arranged a few alibis for some of us as well. By the way Alec, you spent tonight in MacDuff’s bed, not that you won’t probably end up there anyway.”

“What a good idea,” said Alec with a glint in his eyes. “Marcus, we had better not get caught.”

“Remember lads,” said Marcus as they trooped out of his room. “Tomorrow, not a peep.”

“What about your witch,” asked Tarquin with a raised eyebrow.

“I am not scared of her,” said Marcus with a slight shudder. “On second thought, no gluing actual broomsticks to the ceiling. I do not want to be celibate for the next year, thank you very much.”

“She would cut you off?” asked Tarquin with surprise.

“That’s not what I am afraid she’d cut off if I harm her broom in any permanent way,” said Marcus with a grimace.

“Ouch,” said Adrian as he winced.

“She’s also been a tad touchy lately,” said Marcus as he led the boys out of the Slytherin common room. “Honestly, do you know how many fabric swatches I have had to look at in the last two weeks? I have to look enthusiastic as well or she’ll do something horrible.”

“Yell at you?” said Tarquin sympathetically.

“Worse,” said Marcus with a shudder. “She’ll cry. And when she starts crying lately, she doesn’t stop. She was crying over the Harpies the other day. I had to dredge up some sympathy or she would have never stopped.”

“Oh Marcus,” said Derrick with a smirk. “You are sounding like a married man.”

“A married man that has been married for ages,” said Terry with a snicker.

“Just you guys wait,” said Marcus with a superior smile. “It will be your turn soon.”

“Soon,” said Tarquin with a shudder of distaste. “I think not. I’m going to have to be dragged kicking and screaming to the altar when the time comes.”

“That’s only because you’re a misogynist git,” said Alec lightly.

“Marcus,” said Tarquin with a twinkle in his eye. “Alec’s using big words.”

“Misogynist means that you hate women,” said Alec with a grin.

“I do not hate women,” said Tarquin with an outraged tone.

“Ahhh,” said Alec. “But I am not talking about sex Tarquin. You do not like women. You like to shag them but you are not friends with them. It’s your Oedipus complex.”

“Marcus,” said Tarquin in a singsong voice. “He’s using big words again.”

“Really Alec,” said Terry with a snort. “I can’t see Tarquin trying to shag his mother.”

“Especially seeing as most of the wizards in magical Britain already have,” said Tarquin lightly.

“It’s not about shagging Ter, it’s all about how Tarquin blames all women for the fact that his mother is awful,” said Alec.

“Hey,” said Tarquin with a laugh. “I still standing right here.”

“Yeah,” said Derrick loyally. “Tarquin likes some girls. What about Daria and Mariah.”

“That’s because Daria does my homework for me,” said Tarquin. “Plus she’s my cousin. So is Mariah.”

“His mother is not that bad,” said Derrick.

“Wait one second Derrick,” said Tarquin with a snicker. “I’ll have to agree with Alec on that point. My mother is a gold digging, promiscuous, horrible excuse for a mother. And those are her good points.”

“If it’s any consolation mate,” said Alec. “I would trade my bride for your mother any day.”

“Ahhh,” said Tarquin as he wagged his finger. “You say that now but….”

The boys laughed.

“Have you even seen her yet Alec,” asked Marcus with a grimace.

“I’ve seen pictures now,” said Alec with a sigh. “She’s pretty but she’s also in the bottom ten at Durmstrang. That is why her parents needed her to marry well. They know that she would be hopeless when it came to the family business. Her best class is Divination.”

“She has the Sight,” asked Marcus with surprise.

“No,” said Alec with a snicker. “It’s the only class she hasn’t been tossed out of. She’s also got a wild side. She likes to drink. Her parent’s money is the only thing keeping her at Durmstrang.”

Before Alec could finish his story about his bride, they arrived at the broom sheds.

“Where are the Dementors,” said Tarquin with a shiver.

“Off school grounds,” said Marcus with a shudder as well. “Now, here the plan, first off we open the doors of all the broom sheds. Tarquin and Derrick take the Hufflepuffs but only leave the door ajar with nothing done to it. Chris and Alec, take the Ravenclaws. Be very careful of their wards and just glue some banners to the ceiling. I’ll open the Slytherin shed and toss some of the spare beater clubs on the walls. Adrian and Terry, you start on the Gryffindor shed. Be very careful of the wards and then begin gluing stuff to the ceiling.”

“You clever bastard,” said Alec with admiration. “You are going to make it look like someone had it out for the Quidditch teams rather than one specific team.”

“Seeing as the Gryffindorks did win the Cup,” said Terry with a twinkle in his eye. “Then anyone could have done it.”

“Like some deranged fan,” said Marcus with a slow wide smile. “To work lads.”

Some time later, the Slytherins finished their work and slinked back to the castle using the out of the way door Marcus used on occasion.

“I’m hungry,” said Chris plaintively.

“I need a drink,” said Marcus with a snicker as they made their way along the deserted dungeon hallway. “Why don’t Adrian and Terry nip down to the kitchens and get us some food. I’ll nip into my room and grab a few butterbeers as a bribe for the house elves.”

Ten minutes later, Adrian and Terry were off to the kitchens. The boys had stopped for a few fortifying shots of firewhiskey.

“Why is it that we have to get the food,” asked Adrian.

“Orders from the big guy,” said Terry with a laugh. The good humor on his face faded when they stepped into the kitchen.

“Adrian,” said Angie with a smile as she saw her boyfriend.

“My favorite witch,” said Adrian as he grabbed her waist and buried his face in her neck. Angie and Adrian began to snog as Terry grimaced and Ally examined her frnairnails. When neither Adrian or Angie looked like they were going to come back up for air, Terry gave their bribe to the house elves and arranged that they deliver the food to Marcus’s room.

“Merlin,” said Ally as she broke the silence. “Shouldn’t they need air by now?”

“Not likely,” said Terry as he looked at the entwined couple closely. “I think they’re breathing through their noses. At least enough air to sustain life.”

“So Ally,” said Terry as his voice lowered so only Alicia could hear him. “Have you thought about what I said?”

“What if I go to your Slytherin girlfriend and tell her,” said Ally as she put her hands on her hips.

“You could do that,” said Terry as he moved closer. Alicia’s pulse started to thrum. She could smell a mixture of spicy alcohol and that sexy cologne he wore. She licked her lips and Terry gave a smug smile. “But then we wouldn’t get the opportunity to do some wild things to each other.”

“You are a bad wizard,” said Alicia repressively as she stepped away from Terry. Her nipples tightened.

“Merlin,” whispered Terry hotly. “Are you as hot and bothered as I am Ally? I just want to fuck you right here, right now.”

“Right here?” squeaked Alicia as she eyed the table. She squeezed her thighs together as her legs trembled.

“Right now,” whispered Terry as he leaned over her. Alicia swayed closer unconsciously.

“I’m sorry,” said Angie contritely as she interrupted. “We lost track of where we were. Are we going to go soon, Ally? Katie is waiting.”

“If you don’t mind,” said Alicia faintly as she gave Angie a significant look. “Terry and I have a few things to discuss.”

“Oh,” said Angie as she gathered up the basket the house elves gave her. “I understand.” She turned and dragged a protesting Adrian out the door.”

“So,” said Terry as he smiled into her eyes when they were alone. “Right here?”

“No,” whispered Alicia. “Follow me.” She led Terry to the alcove where they had shagged on the night of the Quidditch Cup.

Terry grabbed her waist from behind and whispered in her ear as he traced the outline of her ear with his tongue. “I’ve missed you Ally.”

Alicia’s throat closed at his murmured words. His hands were busy stroking her breasts underneath her jumper in the misty darkness of the hidden alcove. Alicia gave a throaty sigh as her temperature soared. She leaned her head back and softly groaned as Terry licked her neck and ground his thick erection into her backside. She whimpered when a callused hand slipped under her skirt.

“We should talk,” said Ally weakly as his fingers slipped into her cleft and began to softly explore. His fingers petted and stroked her until she arched her back and moaned his name.

“Later,” purred Terry as he pulled her pants down to her ankles and flipped her skirt over her backside. He urged her to put her hands down on the old trunk in the alcove as he bent her over. Allies obeyed and softly panted as she listened to Terry undo his trousers. She closed her eyes when he ran his hot velvety smooth erection over her ass cheeks in a teasing movement.

“Do you want this Ally,” asked Terry. “Have you been missing this?”

Alicia wiggled her ass at Terry and rejoined, “As much as you’ve been missing this.”

Terry’s heart rate accelerated as he ran an admiring hand down her arse and moaned. He teasingly circled her clitoris with his penis as she thrashed under him.

“Merlin Terry,” said Alicia breathlessly. “Just fuck me.”

Terry drove his erection deep inside her with a twist of his hips. He grabbed her hips and began to move her urgently against his thrusting body. His hands reached down and squeezed her breasts in time with his thrusts. They quickly came to a crescendo as Alicia stiffened and bit her lip as she felt Terry pulse inside her. Terry collapsed against Ally and took them both down to lie on top of the trunk entwined and panting.

They lay together in silence until Terry opened his eyes and grinned at her in the semi-darkness. He stroked her face and said, “Ally, put that pretty mouth of yours to work and get me hard again and then we’ll talk.”

“Later tonight,” as Alicia slid to her knees in front of Terry. She petted his semi-hard slippery penis.

“Maybe tomorrow,” said Terry with a groan as the wet heat of her mouth engulfed the head of his cock.

After she licked the underside of his twitching shaft, she lifted her head. “Its just as well,” whispered Ally. “I had better get back before they know for sure we’ve not been talking.”

“Merlin,” said Ters hes he closed his eyes in bliss as her mouth closed over him again. “I have missed your talented mouth Alicia Spinnet. You are not leaving until we’ve come at least one more time.”

Alicia nodded as she engulfed his penis deep into her mouth. Her entire body was alive with sensation. And Terrence Higgs was the only man who could make her feel this alive.
