Chapter 11

Hermione sighed as she stepped out of the shower. She had no idea how long she spent just standing under the hot running water, scrubbing fiercely to clean herself. No matter what she did she still felt dirty. She had no idea why Draco had forgiven her. If she was him she would have left her, but he didn‘t. Doing a quick drying spell she got dressed and walked back to her room. She had a couple of minutes before class.
Draco was in her room waiting for her as she eyes widened. “Draco if someone catches you…”
She was cut off with him putting her finger to her lips. “No one is here. I brought you breakfast. I was about to go after you and see what was taking you so long. Afraid you turned into a puddle and went down the drain.”
Hermione chuckled softly. “No.” She looked at her plate which consisted of pancakes, eggs, and two pieces of bacon. “You can have the bacon.”
“I was planning on it.” He said smiling knowing how she disliked it.
“Why?” She asked trying to eat her food in a hurry so they weren’t late for Advanced Potions.
“What what?” He asked.
“Why didn’t you break up with me?”
Draco stopped chewing on his piece of bacon and looked at her. Her eyes were slightly still puffy from crying, “I would never do that to you. I’m still getting my revenge on Potter, but I love you and nothing will change that.”
“But…”
He kissed her lips. “Now hurry up and eat.”
Hermione made a face. “You taste like bacon.”
Draco chuckled. “Come on.” He said making the food disappear. “Or we’ll be late.”
She looked around. “My books!”
“I have them.” He said holding them in his hands and handed them to her. “Come on Hermione.”
“Coming,.” She said taking her books from him as he put his cloak on.
Hermione hurried down the hall and into the potions lab. Noticing Professor Snape not there yet she sighed and sat in the back of the room. Draco had probably stopped at his room to drop off his cloak, but being Snape’s favorite wouldn’t get in trouble for being a bit late.
“Hermione?” Ron asked confused as he looked back at her. He and Harry had saved her a seat, but she had walked right pass them and went to the back without even glimpsing at them.
She glanced up and saw Ron staring at her and saw him motioning to the empty seat between him and Harry. She shook her head and took out her five inch parchment they had written for homework the night before which was only supposed to be three.
“Mr. Weasley please pay attention to the front and not at Miss Granger or I shall have to deduct points.” A cold voice said as the door sbehibehind him.
Ron turned his head forwards and gulped, not wanting any more points taken from Gryffindor. “Pass your homework up, I assume you all did the homework.” Snape said as Malfoy strolled into the classroom. “Please take you seat Mr. Malfoy.”
Malfoy nodded and shot a death glare in Harry’s direction as he took his seat up front. He glanced to the back as he grabbed the parchments from Blaise Zambini and saw Hermione sitting by herself.
