Boy was she wrong
I own not the Harry Potter universe and Absinthe can not be owned by anyone for she is a living soul I only helped to give birth too.

Chapter 10 boy was she wrong
Absinthe new quite a bit more about the magic realm than she originally thought. Dumbledore was one of the good ones, and according to her mom there were not many. Julienne had assumed that Dumbledore would be long gone by now considering her visions about Lilly. It had never occurred to her that there had been a twist in destiny, that by removing herself and Absinthe from the picture she ald thd the future. She had in her own way saved the magical world from being overpowered by Voldemort. Thus Absinthe had a very misconceived notion of the magic world. Then again Absinthe had a pretty twisted view of the regular world. \"Mom thought you were ... gone.\"
\"Why would she ever think that?\"
\"Well she assumed when Voldemort took over that you would have been one of the first to be killed.\"
\"Whatever gave you the impression that Voldemort had won?\"
\"..l, il, it had something to do with one of her visions. She never really got into that. It seemed to upset her to much, so I didn\'t push it.\"
\"Of course, I understand, She was one of the few true seers. What ever her vision was I\'m afraid it was wrong, or else changed. Voldemort was defeated by the sacrifice of your mothers best friend Lilly who gave her life for her son Harry. When Voldemort tried to kill Harry, who was just a baby, the curse backfired and he has been gone for the past ten years. There are still Death Eaters around, as I\'m sure you saw, but on the most part witches and wizards are very happy.\" He smiled at her again in what would become Absinthe\'s special smile. \"Well I want you to know that we are here for you and we will do everything we can for you.\"
\"Well you can get me outta here. This is the last place Mom wanted me.\" It had never occurred to Albus that she wouldn\'t want to be here. He knew what waited her outside in the muggle world, group homes, foster families, no one to help or understand her. The same was true here but he could keep her at the school, be a ward of the state living and learning at the school.
\"Absinthe, if you really want to go back I will take you back. You will have to go into a group home. If you choose to stay here you can say at the school, we will provide for you, and teach you.\"
\"Thanks but, I can take care of myself, just show me the way back to London. I can take it from there.\"
\'Oh Gods,\' He thought, \'she was worse than her mother. She\'s holding back the tears so well someone else might think she is completely cold-hearted. She has Sirius\'s spirit.\' He shook his head slightly.
\"Why don\'t you sleep on it for the night. We\'ll talk about it tomorrow.\" He walked out of the room giving her a big smile and wave.
\'I won\'t be here tomorrow\' she thought to herself not bothering to smile or wave, she just rolled over putting her back to Dumbledore and silently cried.
