Seduce My Father - Complete

Note: Short chapter, but it explains some things. XD. Enjoy. 

One week before school began:

"You and Miss Granger seemed to be getting rather cozy together, Adrien. Is there something you're refusing to let me in on?" Severus taunted his son. 

Hermione had just gone back to Grimmauld Place to spend the last week of Summer break with Harry and Ron. She had slept in Adrien's bed with him during her two week stay, and Severus couldn't help but wonder if his son was engaging in sexual activity with the girl. 

"No, dad, we're just friends. Honest. I'll even let you peer into my thoughts to prove it." Adrien said. 

Severus held up his hand. 

"No need. I believe you. As your father, I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask." he said with a smirk. 

"You've never asked about any other girl I've had around." Adrien rounded back, rather curiously, in spite of himself. 

Suddenly it dawned on him. His father had a slight attraction to the girl. The thought, to him, was just too good, but he promised himself he wouldn't tell Hermione, flat out. 

"You fancy her." Adrien said, waving a finger tauntingly in his father's face. 

"Oh, don't be ridiculous, Adrien, she's my student. One of the many." Severus replied defensively. 

"No..." Adrien said with a laugh as he shook his head. "No, you definitely fancy her. Why else would you ask these questions? This isn't the first time you've asked, either." 

"I ask, Adrien, because it is rather unclear, your intentions with Miss Granger." Severus replied smartly, with his hands behind his back. 

The two were standing in the living room of their home in Spinner's End. 

"Okay, fine..." Adrien said, holding his hands up in defeat as he began to retreat back to his bedroom. "Your secret is safe with me." he called over his shoulder. 

Severus rolled his eyes. 

The truth was, yes, Severus did fancy the girl. Just a bit. Though he had often found himself annoyed with her know-it-all attitude, the brain she possessed was much more witty, and mature for a witch of her age. 

He sat in his armchair, and began reading a copy of the Daily Prophet, and he became annoyed with himself as he read the same line twelve times, as his mind would not allow him to concentrate on the paper. Images of Hermione's concerned eyes kept flashing through his mind. 

Adrien, Hermione, and Harry had saved his life in the war, after the Dark Lord had sicced his overly large snake on him down by the docks. 

"Stay with me, Severus..." she told him, her voice seemed to be coming to him from across a maelstrom, as he faded in and out of consciousness. 

"Stay with me..." 

How could he not have developed a special spot for the girl? She had expressed genuine care for him during those fateful hours, and he knew that it was only because of her, and the love for his son, that he had pulled through. 

He folded the paper and deposited it onto a table that was already threatening to collapse under the weight of all the books he would sit and read during his leisure time. 

He did fancy the girl, but being that he was still a teacher, and she a student, he never thought she would feel the same way. Not to mention, it was forbidden, and wrong.
