Mione 6

The next morning when I woke up we were still in the nude and Draco was still asleep from out night of love making. I slipped out of bed and quietly walked into the bathroom to take a shower. For a good fifteen minutes I just stood there under the hot water remembering the night before. After an hour I walked into the room wrapped in a towel and smelling like strawberries.

Draco sat up in bed. “Good morning, beautiful.”

I smiled at him and walked to the dresser. “Good morning to you, too. How did you sleep?” I asked as I put my clothes on.

“Good, and you?”

“Perfect, with you by my side.” I crawled onto the bed and on top of him. “I love you, Draco Malfoy.”

He cupped my face in his hands. “I love you, too, Hermione Granger.” and kissed me.

I sat back and patted him on his chest; I could feel his erection growing beneath my thigh. “Now get up, we have class and you have to refresh my memory on other subjects besides love.” I tried to move off him but he stopped me.

“Oh can’t I teach you that lesson one more time?” Draco teased.

I smacked him with the pillow and stood up from the bed. “Funny. Just get up. I’ll be in the common room.” I kissed him and walked out into the common room.

“Hey Hermione.” Blaise screamed as he came bolting out of his and Parker’s room and engulfed me in a hug.

“Let go.” I demanded. I still wanted to make people believe I was the other Hermione from here.

Blaise stepped back and looked hurt. “I’m sorry I wasn’t aware I had done anything wrong, my Queen.” he bowed.

I shook my head and sat on the couch. “Gawh, why do I have to deal with such incompetence?” I huffed trying to sound as peeved as I could without laughing.

“Now Babe, they aren’t that bad, are they?” Draco asked stepping through the portrait.

I shrugged but remained seated waiting for him to either sit next to me or to order me to get up. He did neither so I stood up; silence with him was usually a command within itself. “So what’s our first class?”

“Herbology.” he stated dryly.

“Oh goodie.” I chimed sarcastically.

After sitting through our morning classes we were all seated outside by the lake with our lunch so that Draco, Blaise, and Parker could help me “remember” my past.

“Why don’t you tell us more about who you think you are and then we’ll correct what you have wrong.” Draco said.

“Ok well ask me a question and I’ll give you an answer.”

“Who are you in your mind?”

“I’m still Hermione Granger, but I’m not pureblood. My parents are muggles.”

“Ok so you don’t really need us to correct that since you already need us to correct that since you already know your pureblood.” Blaise stated. “What else is there?”

“Well I’m not friends with you guys. I was part of the Golden Trio. I didn’t date, much less love anybody. Harry killed Voldemort over the summer, and Dumbledore is still headmaster.”

“Well you already know all that is not how it is. Tell us what you still have in your head that you haven’t figured out yet.”

I stared at Parker for a second before trying to think of something. “Do you think that the Dark Lord will want me to remember how you got your dark marks?”

“Maybe.” Draco said. “Blaise tell her how you got yours.”

Blaise made himself more comfortable. “It happened in third year. I had to help my father set Sirius free. And then I had to help him track down Harry so he could finish his job, but we know that didn’t work our.”

I furrowed my brows in confusion. “I don’t understand, what was he supposed to finish?”

“Oh yeah, you don’t remember.” Blaise laughed. “He was supposed to kill Hagrid since Harry was so close to him here. But he got side tracked because of his love for Harry’s mother.”

Now I was truly shocked. “Was James Harry’s father? Or was Sirius his real father?”

“Sirius was his father.” Draco stated dryly.

“But-but how could he work for the man who wanted to kill his son and succeeded?”

“He didn’t know at the time. Now he has Ron as a servant and he uses him to connect with who Harry was.”

“And the Dark Lord doesn’t care?”

“No if he had known he probably would have acted differently.” Draco looked at Parker. “Tell her how you got yours.”

“I got mine in fifth year. I disguised myself and became a member of the DA and then when they went into the Ministry I turned back and betrayed them; it was the perfect set up. That day Luna Lovegood fell through the veil. It seemed that Harry was very fond of her.”

“Luna’s dead? I just figured she was in hiding. And Harry being fond of her. I figured he’d be with Ginny.”

Draco shook his head. “After second year when we used her to open the Chamber of Secrets he didn’t trust her. And for good reason, she’s on our side but no one knows that.”

“How do they not? Wouldn’t she have fought in the battle?”

“She did. But she fought on their side to sabotage them. She would misfire spells at them. That was the plan.”

I nodded. “Ok I can remember all that.” I looked over to Draco. “What about you?”

“I told you. Being Lucius’ son was enough.’

Parker cleared his throat. “Tell her the truth. She can handle it. Besides she needs to know.”

I looked at him. “What are you keeping from me?”

Draco took a deep breath and fixed his face into a blank look. “I killed Cedric Diggory in forth year.”

I gasped in shock and backed away from him. “How could you do such a thing.”

Draco looked at Parker seething with anger. “I thought you said she could handle it.”

Parker shrugged. “I thought she could. I guess I was wrong.”

Draco stood up quickly and stormed off to the castle leaving my question unanswered. I stood up and started after him only to be stopped by Parker and Blaise. “Let me go. He’s not telling me something and I need to know what it is.”

“No.” Parker said. “This is something you’ll have to wait for. You didn’t even know he killed him before you got amnesia.”

I looked up at him. “I didn’t?”

“No and for that same reason he didn’t want to tell you today. You can’t handle it. To know that the man whose hands you put your life in everyday killed someone.”

“I can handle it, but what else is he keeping from me?”

“We can’t tell you; that is his burden.” Blaise said before pulling me to the castle. “Now come one we have four more classes today.”

I allowed him to drag me to our next class where Draco was already waiting. I sat down next to him and placed my hand on his thigh. He sighed quietly.

“I never wanted to tell you.” He said looking at the wood grain, so intently it could have caught fire. “I had no choice but to do it.”

“Why not?”

“I’ll tell you after dinner.”
