Epilogue
Six Years Later…
“George…Weasley…as Merlin…is my…witness…I will yank your…lip over your head…if you…even…think about…sex again!” Hermione growled as yet another wave of a contraction came and went. Panting she whispered, “I didn’t mean it.”
“I know, kitten,” he assured her, stroking back her hair from her sweat covered face. “You never do.”
“The girls…”
“Rosie and Lilly are with our family,” he told her, rubbing her back again with the tennis ball to help with the pain. “Lilly is sitting with her aunties Ginny and Luna, and Rosie is more than likely with Severus as he explains to her how to brew a simple potion.”
“Oh Merlin!” she cried out as another contraction started. “You…just had to have a…boy!”
“I didn’t!” he exclaimed.
“I was…yelling at…me!” she snapped.
An hour later George walked into the waiting room with a broad grin on his face, catching his girls as they ran over to him.
“You have two little brothers!” he announced.
A cheer went up in the room. A half an hour later that all of the family went to be introduced to the new additions to the family. Fred and Jacob Weasley were a perfect blending of their parents with their curly red hair to their baby blue eyes that George was positive would change to a whiskey color to match their mother’s.
“I understand why you would name one of them Fred,” Ginny said casually, rubbing the baby’s back as he rested on her shoulder. “But why did you name the other one Jacob?”
“After my father,” Hermione murmured on a yawn. “George, sleep.”
“Okay, everyone out!” George took the babies and put them near Hermione in their little bed, as he held his three and a half year old girls in the large chair next to the bed.
“Daddy, do you love the new babies more than me and Rosie?” Lilly asked in her serious and quiet voice.
“No, my love, I don’t. I love them just as much as you.”
“Daddy, when can I throw away the babies like you did with Uncle Ron?”
Hermione’s eyes snapped open, lasering in on her husband who was blushing.
“Now, little love, told you never to mention that to your mum, least your daddy is made into…”’
“George,” Hermione muttered, cutting him off. “As if.” She looked to Rosie. “There shall not be any tossing of children into the garbage, is that clear, Roselyn?”
“Yes, mommy,” she answered with a disappointed sigh. “But can I change their pee blue?”
“Not until they can defend themselves,” Hermione told her in a resigned voice. “Now, where is your Nana?”
A moment later Molly came in, cooing over the babies, and hugged the girls. Kissing their heads, she said, “Your Granddad is still at work, but he sends his regards and he is looking forward to having you two flowers at the Burrow!”
Cheering they left with their Granny Molly, leaving the parents and the babies in quiet. George joined Hermione on the bed with her, putting the babies between them.
Hermione felt his lips on her forehead. Opening her eyes, she looked into his and smiled.
“Well, I can honestly say that this was not what I thought I would be doing now,” she told him, her voice tired. “But it works.”
Thinking about WWW and how Hermione was now working with him to make it the best joke shops in the world, about the two little girls as well as now the two little boys she had just given birth to, and he knew that this was right.
“I love you, my kitten,” he whispered, kissing her forehead.
“I love you, too, my rascal.”
Not so far away two spirits watched on. Fred Weasley was smiling, as was Albus Dumbledore.
“Talk about the one person I never thought George would end up with,” Fred said to the former headmaster.
“You never know,” Albus murmured. “They make a good team those two. You could say they are two halves of a whole.”
Fred nodded, but sighed, “I wish I could be there with them for it all.”
“Yes, my boy, I know, I know.” But then smiled and said, “Perhaps next time?”

Well, there it all is. Thank you for reading. With any luck, I'll have a new story up and running by the end of the week. Oh, and Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
