RAVENRIN & SLYTHERCLAW- Chapter 11

March passed into April and the Weasley Twins’ birthday passed too, with no pranks, for a change. As Easter arrived so did the influx of Easter eggs, to which the Twins brought one over for Honeysuckle, telling her it was from none other than Charlie.
“Open it!,” urged Argenta as Honeysuckle toyed with the gold ribbon that was tied around it. She carefully undid the ribbon and broke the egg to find not only the usual assortment of fudge and toffees, but a delicate looking bracelet that was a perfect match to the necklace he had sent her at Christmas. It was made of tiny dragon scales, each encased in a silver surround and hanging off the links of the bracelet like little trinkets.
“Oh, Honey! It’s fabulous,” Argenta squealed as she fastened it around her friend’s wrist. Somehow she knew all of her teasing would go unheard and she also knew that if this relationship grew and lasted, Charlie would worship Honeysuckle till either of them died- that would be true love! Argenta didn’t stop teasing her friend all month and the subject only changed when Honeysuckle told her the news of Barty Crouch being seen in the Forest and then disappearing before anyone but Viktor Krum and Harry Potter could alert any member of staff.
“Just where do you get all of this information from Honey?,” Argenta asked later that afternoon, whilst they were huddled up in the library as the weather outside wasn’t the nicest as it was raining hard.
“A very talkative House-elf that has been cleaning the Common Room ever since I’ve been here.”
“So they do have their uses then,” drolled Argenta as she reached for the book Honeysuckle was reading. It was close to lunch so they left the cosy warmth of the library and headed to the Great Hall, plus the library had stated to fill up too. The girls ate heartily. Sipping on the hot liquids of tea and coffee rather than the cold pumpkin juice as they needed to be alert for their next lesson, Potions. They now looked forward to these lessons, calling them affectionately between themselves their ‘Wind up Severus’ lesson. He was finding it incredibly hard not to punish them both, just for another chance to bed them together, especially when they played the lesbian card, which happened to be quite often in his classes. During the lesson Severus’ left arm convulsed, making him grab it and curse his-self silently. This movement was caught by Honeysuckle’s eager eyes and she suddenly remembered what Moody had said about the Death Eater that got away, plus she had noticed a tattoo on Severus’ left forearm during their romps, one that looked like the Dark Lord’s Dark Mark. Once the lesson was finally over, Honeysuckle pulled her friend to one side and told her of her own thoughts and of what Moody had said. All she got in reply was a shrug.
“You know full well that I like my men dark, mysterious and dangerous Honey,” Argenta replied simply when her friend pressed her for an answer as the walked arm in arm down the corridors, forcing everyone to part like the Red Sea and let them through. That night after Honeysuckle had eaten her dinner quickly, she then left the Great Hall to get changed into her forfeit outfit and soon was walking back in, head held high as she climbed onto her House table, just as the music she had to dance to came out from nowhere. She made her way up and down the length of the table, dancing very wildly and only stopping to dance more provocatively in front of Argenta, dipping low and swaying seductively before heading back to the door end of the table as the music came to an end. The entire Hall erupted with applause and wolf-whistles as she jumped down and ran to hide from the wrath of the now fuming professors, well nearly all of them.
“What was zat all about Dumbly-dore?,” inquired Madam Maxine, who had never seen such a display in her life and never at her school.
“Oh just mere high spirits and a high sugar level my dear. It happens a lot just after Easter,” Dumbledore said, just managing to cover a chuckle of amusement. His very observant eyes say the Weasley Twins exit the Hall too and head in the same direction that the ‘Butterfly’ Miss Blonde had disappeared in.
‘Those girls and them Twins really are a handful, but do give us all a good laugh from time to time,’ the Headmaster thought as the Great Hall emptied. In the Entrance Hall, the Beauxbatons pupils were patiently waiting for their Headmistress, when Argenta walked past.
“What was zat about?,” one of the girls called to Argenta, who turned and stared, looking confused at the girl.
“Fwah fwah fwah?”
“Do not tease us so!”
“Fwah fwah fwah fwah fwah!,” Argenta continued, holding back the urge to laugh at them. As Madam Maxine swept out of the Great Hall and led her pupils away, Argenta was glad that none of them had been able to reply. She was now in stitches from laughing so hard at the faces of the Beauxbatons girls. Soon everyone of the Hogwarts students had heard of the incident and were all ‘Fwah, fwah, fwahing’ at the Beauxbatons every time they passed that the professors had given up on taking points away as there were too many students to take points from and not enough points in the hourglasses to take. If they had carried on taking points, each House would have been into the negatives by the end of the following week.
