Champion of Angel's

James and Lilly Potter had been at Hogwarts listening to the Headmaster. Telling them that Harry, the child they push aside had been placed in the House of Merlin. That didn't sit well with either of them. If it was to be one of their children, they felt it should have been Hayden. For he was the stronger of the two.

" Albus, we want to take Harry home." James Potter stated with clarity, as his wife just nodded in agreement.

Albus Dumbledore couldn't believe what he was hearing. Didn't they understand the honor their son had given them. " Mr. and Mrs. Potter, I feel that would not be a wise decision."

" Why not Albus, I mean Harry is just so fragile. He couldn't possibly handle an Apprenticeship." stated Lilly with passion.

" Lil's is right Albus, Harry is not capable of the work load that comes with the Apprenticeship program." James announced coldly. And before Albus had the time to respond, the door to his office opened to reveil Harry.

" Gather your things Harry, you're coming home with us." James replied as he rounded on the small boy, with a look of contempt.

Harry didn't know what to do, so he just glanced at the Headmaster. Only to be yelled at by his mother, to do as he was told. Bristling at the demands of the two people that didn't give him a thought on a normal day. " No, I want to stay!"

Lilly's eyes widened, while James rounded on the boy again.

" Listen here boy, I don't care what you want. We're your parents and you will listen."

Harry's resolve crumbled at his father's words. And turned to leave, but not before a single tear escaped his emerald eyes.

Albus had seen Harry's eyes watering as the tear escaped. He didn't know what to do, for he knew he couldn't demand the Potter's let him stay. Even though he was the Headmaster, James and Lilly were the boys gaurdians.

Kiba Moon-Snape was heading for the Potions Lab when a small body collided with hers. Sending them both to the floor. When she looked up, the person that had ran into her was the last one she had wanted to see until Monday.

" Potter," she snarled until the sound of sobbing reached her ears. Sighing she sat up in the middle of the corridor with the boy in her lap. Casting an dissillusion charm around them, before gently rocking the boy, until his sobs stopped.

Harry didn't know who held him at first until he heard his last name. Then the soft body of the Potions Professor as she rocked him as the cried out his grief.

" Want to tell me what had you running like the hounds of hell were behind you, Potter?"

Shaking his head no, Harry continued to snuggle into his Professor. He faintly noticed being picked up like a child. Before wrapping his arms around her and his legs around her waist. His face buried into her neck.

Kiba didn't want to remain on the floor. So with strength many didn't know she posessed. She gently pick the boy up. What surprised her was Harry automatically wrapped himself around her like a small child. And even though he was eleven, he still was like carrying a toddler. Not pausing for a moment, Kiba headed toward the Headmaster's Office. She wanted to know what had caused Potter to break down.

When Kiba entered the Headmaster's office with Harry wrapped around her. She could tell the boy had fallen asleep. And by the noise inside, said office would probably wake him. So she cast silencing spell around his ears so he couldn't hear their voices and could get the rest he so oviously needed.

Albus was listening to the yelling of the Potter's and didn't notice when his Potion's Professor entered the room. But when the cold voice of said Professor rang through out the room he was in shock.

" Lovely, now I know what cause young Potter to collapse into me!" Kiba snarled coldly as she shifted Harry into a more comfortable position. Giving the others one of the looks Lord Tashio used when voicing his displeasure. And smirked when the room became quite.

When the Potter's and Headmaster had turned toward the voice. Lilly and James had a look of anger when seeing their son was wrapped around her like a child. Albus on the other hand, his eyes lite up like Christmas. Causing Kiba's smirk to dissolve, leaving a tight lipped smile.

" Mr. and Mrs. Potter, let me introduce you to my new Potions Mistress and Professor. Kiba Moon." Albus remarked calmly, he had seem the look the young woman had gotten. An when a single eyebrow raised, he knew that she understood why he had left off the name Snape. It was well known that the Potter's and Snape's did not get along. And he wanted to keep the peace.

" You're joking right Albus? There is no way this child could teach." James snapped as he looked upon the one Albus had introduced.

" Child? I'm no child Mr. Potter. And I can assure you that I have my Mastery in Potion. There for I am just as qualified to teach as you are as qualified to be an Auror. Though, if I were in charge of the MLE of Britain, I would not have hired you!"

" How dare you insult my husband!" Lilly yelled while trying to get to Harry. However her effort was in vain as the young girl moved so quickly. Only to appear behind her with a sharp dagger in her side.

" I dare, Mrs. Potter it is not wise to threaten me or treat me as an ignorant Child. For I haven't been a child for many years." Kiba whispered evilly into Lilly's ear. Before moving away, placing the dagger into one of her hidden pockets.

It had been a long time since Lilly had felt fear. But this girl scared her, no she terrified her. Her husband noticed her fear and wrapped his arms around her to try a calm her.

" Now, would someone tell me why Potter was running upset through the halls?" Kiba calmly asked as she conjured a large comfortable chair before sitting with Harry still wrapped around her.

" James and Lilly want to take Harry back to Potter Manor. They don't feel Harry has the health to with stand being Apprenticed." Albus remarked with a slight coldness. He had seen Kiba move behind Lilly and he wondered what the girl had said to scare Mrs. Potter.

Lilly and James said nothing in their defense. It was their right to take Harry, and nobody would stand in their way. However they didn't like the smile that graced the Professors lips as she ran her fingers through Harry's hair.

" Tell me if I'm wrong Albus. But I'm to wager that young Harry didn't want to leave, in which caused him to run away crying."

Albus said nothing just nodded in agreement. He wondered what the young woman was thinking. James and Lilly just remained silent, they would not agree or disagree with the girls statement.

" If he doesn't want to leave, then he stays.(James and Lilly opened their mouths to speak. But were silenced by Kiba's cold look.) Moreover, I will offer him a Mentorship with me, when he wakes. Since I have a Mastery in Potions as well as Medi-Wizardry. I will be able to monitor young Potter without straining him." Kiba stated with finality, her face was emotionless. But inside she was wanting to kick herself. She couldn't believe what had just came out of her mouth.

Both James and Lilly went wild, yelling that they wouldn't allow it. What they didn't know was if wouldn't matter. The Ministry would demand that the Potter's back down and allow it. Being Apprenticed to one such as she was an honor, even if the Potter's weren't aware at this time.

"ENOUGH!" Albus bellowed causing the Potters to go silent. " It amazes me that young Harry is still asleep, with all this noise. James, Lilly for know just go home. When we have all rested and Harry is awake we'll discuss this in detail."

The Potter's didn't like it, but relented before flooing home, via the Headmasters fireplace. When they were gone, he turned to his Professor with a look of confusion.
He didn't know why Kiba would mentor Harry. He was a Potter and she was a Snape. Though not of the wizarding Snape's, still it was confusing.

" Why?"

Kiba blinked, "Truefully?" at Albus's nod, she continued. "I'm not sure, something is pulling me to take Potter as my Apprentice. And before you say that's not an answer, for now that is all your going to get." standing she left with Harry still attached to her hip. Leaving a speechless Headmaster in her wake.

"Merlin," Albus sighed as he placed his face into his hands. With the hope that letting Kiba mentor young Potter wouldn't be a mistake.
