It had been almost three years since Severus Snape had married Lilly. At times Severus wandered what it would of been like, if he had married Lilly after Hogwart's. But he tried not to ask the what ifs. Lucas and himself were getting along better after the boy realized he wasn't losing his mother, but not as close as he had wished.

Severus blamed it on the Headmaster, Albus Dumbledore. For as soon as they reurned from Paris, he had taken the boy almost everyday to Hogwarts to train his magic. For if Lucas could start working on harnessing his power early, then Albus felt it was for the best the boy be trained.

But all that did was cause Lucas to attach himself to Lilly's hip the moment he returned home. More often than not Lucas was drained and for days the boy could only work on theory. On top of everything Albus had refused to explain what Lucas's was being taught. Even after his wife, Lilly had all but demanded the old man to let Lucas be a child.

A child, Lucas would never be a child, a normal child at least. If anything Dumbledore was doing his best at pushing Lucas and for what? Severus and Lilly figured it was because of the prophecy. When asked Albus would just smile and respond, "Lucas must be ready to fulfill his destiny."

Lord and Lady Snape didn't know exactly why the old man pushed their son so hard. But they both kept silent when it seemed Lucas, thou drained from the training, shined in happiness with the time spend with the man. And since the Prime Minister refused to allow Lucas with the muggle prodigies, because of fear Lucas could lose control of his magic, they watched their son in silence. Which at the time they didn't realize their silence maybe a receipe for disaster.

Lucas on the other hand was happy spending time with his Granpa Alby. But what everyone was over looking was the fact that he didn't have anyone his own age to connect with. And it was slowly causing him to change from a innocent child his age, to a child with the mindset of an adult.

A mistake that may cause problems. And if so, will there be anyone to for see the problem before its too late.

For James and Katrina Potter the years had not been kind. Not only had the Prophet slandered the Potter name, but they didn't even know who had sent all the proof to the paper.

James at first blamed Severus Snape, however when the man had came back to Britain it had been clear that the man was just as shock. So James kept looking to find who had damaged the Potter name, unfortunately the one that did, was the last person James would have guess.

Katrina months later had given birth to a son, by the name of Kane Damon Potter. One that she constantly favored over Jamie. Even though she care for the boy, you could still see the difference.

Jamie was growing into a person that was cruel. Since the birth of his half-brother Kane, he wasn't getting the attention that he was used to. His own Father was gone most of the time and even though he liked his new mother, she was still not his. For he could see that Kane was always first on her mind. And soon he would see that Kane was just like Lucas. For he would get their mother's attention and Jamie would be pushed aside.
