Meeting Severus

Disclaimer: Sadly, I do not own these characters. That'd be JK, who's like a god. I'm not making any money off them either, which is okay with me.

Later the same day as the 'Prophet' article, Luna owled Harry and asked him to come over. She insisted on doing an interview of her own. After thinking it over, Harry decided that the best thing to do was tell the complete truth. The Quibbler's article came out two days later.

The Truth about Harry Potter's Divorce
Luna Lovegood
Following the Prophet's article, I owled my good friend and got Harry to come talk to me. "Harry, Ginny was lieing, wasn't she?" No point beating around the nargle, of course.
"To an extent. I wasn't cheating on her at all. My youngest son Albus became good friends with Scorpius Malfoy. Finally, he decided to introduce him to us. We all met at the park and Ginny flipped out. She yelled at Al and we ended up leaving. It was better for Al, after all. If his own mother is going to disown him for the friends he has then he shouldn't have to be around her, should he?"
"Of course not. How is Albus, by the way?"
"He's alright. He's got a lot of support from myself, his grandparents, and the Malfoys as well."
"Now, where did Ginny get the idea that you were stalking Mr. Malfoy in school?"
"That bit actually is true. I thought he was up to something when he missed Quidditch. He never missed a game. Truthfully, I kinda miss playing against him."
"So, you're not in love with him?"
"I'm well on my way." On this sentence, Harry refused to elaborate.
"So, you are in a relationship with him?"
"I'm not, actually."
"And what of Ginny's comment on gay people?"
"Completely outrageous. Exspecially considering one of her brothers is gay. But I won't tell you which." And he pressed his lips together. Although, that may've been to keep the Golden Luga's out of his brain. One never knows when they're around until it's too late.
"But you're not gay, are you?"
"I'm bisexual, actually. Although, I fail to see what that has to do with anything."
"Just wanted to clear it up, of course. Oh, one last thing about Marrietta's article. Are you staying at Malfoy Manor then?"
"Al and I are, yes. His best friend's there as is the woman who saved my life in the Final Battle."
"Narcissa Malfoy?"
"Yes. But that's another story for another time." A time I, personally, can't wait for.

"You didn't really tell her I saved you, did you?" Narcissa looked up from the article she was reading.

"It's the truth. Besides, Luna can always tell when you're lieing to her. I don't know how, but she can."

"What the bloody hell is a Golden Luga?" Scorpius insisted.

"I have no idea. Luna says they're invisible and get into your brain and make you go crazy." Harry shrugged.

"I'll be back." Draco left the table with a small smile on his face. He came back moments later. "Come on, hot shot. Let's see if you can still beat me." He held up to brooms and a Golden Snitch.

Harry laughed and stood. "You're on." Together the two of them walked outside into the back yard.

"It'll stay on Malfoy grounds, the wards won't let it leave." Draco said, releasing the little gold ball. They both mounted their brooms and took off.

"You see, Severus? I told you everything would work out." Narcissa stated from her bedroom window. She was watching her son and Harry zoom around on their brooms.

"Nothing's ever completely worked out, Cissy. They get on each other's nerves far too easily for this to be the end of it."

"Sev, everyone knows that when you really like someone, you bug them. A little boy pulling a little girl's pigtails."

"They weren't that young then, Narcissa. I really do hope you're right about them though."

"Severus, could that be a bit of caring for Harry you're showing?"

"Of course not! Draco is my godson, after all. I'm merely looking out for his best interests." Narcissa wasn't convinced, but she let it go. For now at least.

"I'm sure. However, I think that Scorpius and Albus know more than they're letting on about their fathers. And that I intend to find out."

"All you have to do is ask, Grandma." Scorpius stated, walking into the room. "You left your door open, by the way. Who're you?" Scorpius turned to Severus.

"My name is Severus Snape."

"Really? You're who I'm named for?"

"Just what are you talking about?" Severus turned to the youngest Potter male.

"Dad said that I was named for two Hogwarts Headmasters, one of which was a Slytherin and probably the bravest man he ever knew. My name is Albus Severus Potter."

Severus' mouth fell open and if he were still alive, he would've fainted. "He,... He named you for me?"

"He did. I don't think Mum ever liked it though. Not that she likes me all that much, anyway." Al shrugged. "So, what's going on up here anyway?" He sat beside Scor on Narcissa's bed.

"They were watching our dads, Al."

"I know that. I want to know why." The two of them starred at the two adults.

"Because Narcissa has gotten it into her head that the two of them would be perfect for each other." Severus answered.

"They would be. But we may have to get the drunk before they'll admit it." Scorpius nodded.

"True, actually. I've never seen my father as... alive as he is around Draco. So, is there a plan or are you just making it up as you go?"

"Wait, you two are willing to help me with this?" Narcissa looked between the two boys.

"'Course we are. We want them to be happy, Narcissa." Al said as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. "But, Dad's going to be difficult. He doesn't want to cause any problems with my Grandma. Or Uncle Ron and Aunt Hermione." He warned.

"I hadn't thought of that." Narcissa mused out loud.

"Aren't you glad we're here now? Okay, Al, go talk to your Aunt and Rosie. See what they think your grandma would say. I will stay here with Grandma and Severus and figure some stuff out." Albus nodded and left the room.

************************

"Hello, Albus. How are things at Malfoy Manor?"

"Hi Aunt Hermione. And they're good. Did you get the Quibbler today?" He asked.

"Yeah. Which of Ron's brothers is gay, do you know?"

"Nope. But I need to talk to you about something. Where's Rose?"

"Here, Al. What's up?"

"Hey Rosie. It's about Dad and Draco, actually."

"Have they finally solved their issues?" Hermione asked.

"We think so. But me and Scorpius realized something and he's talking to his grandma about it now." He knew it was a good idea to leave Narcissa out of the big picture, for now. "Anyway, I've never in my life seen Dad as alive as he is around Draco, nor has Scor ever seen his dad as alive. And we think they would be absolutely perfect for each other if we could just get them to see it. Anyways, what I really wanted to know is do you guys think it'll cause a problem with Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Ron?"

"Well, your grandparents wouldn't have any problem with it, I'm sure. Ron, on the other hand...."

"Just wants to see his best friend happy." Ron cut his wife off as he strode into the living room. "But I do want to see what you mean."

"Come on. They're playing a Seekers Game against each other right now." They all Flooed to Malfoy Manor. "Severus, you're still here."

"I am. I was asked to stay for a while this time."

"Professor?"

"Hermione, I am hardly a professor anymore, am I?" The ghost looked at the woman in front of him. "However, i would assume that you're here to see Harry, not me."

"Well, considering we didn't know you were here...." Rosie trailed off.

Severus ignored her. "They're still our back, I believe. Although, that damned ball could be anywhere on the grounds. Cissy! I can't go outside, you need to show them to the roof!" He yelled for the woman.

"Severus, I tell you this as your good friend. SHUT UP! There is absolutely no reason to yell. I swear, you lost your mind just before you died." She winked at Hermione as she finished. "Hello again, Rosie." She smiled at the girl. "Mr. an Mrs. Weasley." She offered them a smile as well.

"Please, Mrs. Malfoy. My name is Hermione and my husband's is Ron."

"And mine is Narcissa, dear. Through here." Ron had barely noticed they were walking along and so jumped a bit to realize that they were on the roof.

"There." Al pointed them out to everyone else. They weren't that far away and it seemed as if the had both spotted the snitch. They were diving straight down until one pulled up before the other.

"Dad, I have to tell you that it really is a good thing Al got his dad's Quidditch talent, otherwise Slytherin would never win again." Scorpius announced when they flew to the roof, Harry still holding the snitch. The adults, even Draco, all laughed.

After dinner, Ron and Hermione followed Harry outside because they had something to talk about. Mainly, how Harry felt about Draco. Narcissa took Hugo with her to the library, which he was nearly as thrilled about as his mother had been. And Rose, Al, and Scorpius all went to Al's room.

A/N: Yep, leaving it here. I think that maybe in like 2 more chapters, if they cooperate, Draco and Harry will get their acts together. Until next time then!
