Beds and a Soft Caress
Chapter 11
Date Started: 03-07-07
Pairing: Snape wants Harry in bed... Draco wants Harry... bad... Okay not really... well... kind of. You know what I mean?
Disclaimer: Yep. Don't own them. Wish I did...but nope. The idea wasn't even mine. It was Yami Bakura's. I had thought of something like this... but my idea was a lot stickier so I knew deep down I'd never write it. XD http://hp.adult-fanfiction.org/authors.php?no=1296771786

Harry rolled over slowly, the dull throbbing in his head began again and he winced. This pain would drive him insane. He needed to get rid of the source before he'd be free of it. Surely once Voldemort was gone he wouldn't have to worry about it anymore.
Harry frowned as he noticed that things were as clear as they would have been with his glasses. If there was one way to get him to vulnerable it had to be to take his glasses. He stared across the room, slowly pushing himself up into a sitting position. The Death Eater strode over to the bed before raising his wand to the boy sitting there.
"You were stupid for traveling alone like that, Potter."
The voice was unmistakeable. Severus Snape. Harry frowned but didn't even flinch as the wand was raised, instead glared at the man infront of him. If Snape was going to kill him now it wasn't anything he hadn't wanted a month ago. He had said that he wanted to die. Snape just wouldn't kill him.
"I can't believe you would do something so stupid when you know very well the dangers out there." Snape said before flicking his wand to the side, lighting a nearby lamp. "You could have been killed. Your death would cause the death of many other witches and wizards."
"I don't care if I'm killed... Why am I so important? Is no one else's life important to you?!" Harry spat, glaring and fighting back the urge to suddenly cry.
Harry frowned and looked around slightly while Snape returned his mask. "I'll speak to you more later. Don't leave. I'll be back in a few minutes." He flipped his hood back atop his head and with a crack he was gone.
Now alone, Harry began feeling around from his glasses. He didn't want to imagine where Snape had gone or what he would be doing. The mere thought of humoring his faint curiousity was maddening. Once he found them near the bed, he slowly unfolded them and returned them to his face, letting his eyes adjust before taking a deep breath. Where ever he was... he'd never been here before.

Draco was pacing slowly through the house. This was all his fault. Harry could be killed and it would all be his fault. He couldn't stay in the house... but where could he go? He had no clue as to where he should even begin to look.
He grunted loudly, moving his hands up into his hair. The werewolf had left to meet McGonagall and now he was left alone, slowly being driven to insanity. He whined and forced himself to calm down. Reacting like this wouldn't help.
The thought of him ultimately causing the death of Harry Potter was unthinkable. Not only was he hated by Death Eaters, those same Death Eaters that he strived to become for so many years of his life. One thing went wrong and surely they would kill him without a care. They wouldn't look twice as he fell to the ground. They would simply overlook his pale blonde hair, fair complection, and silver eyes. He suddenly felt cold and his eyes had a faint burn to them that he strongly disliked.
The door opened and Draco ran from the room again, a little more than happy to see Snape and Harry coming inside. He swallowed and fought back the extreme relief he felt.
"Stay here, Potter. Don't leave."
Harry glared at him and Snape left again. Draco felt the odd feeling that Snape said that phrase a lot. He made a face and Harry turned back to look at him.
"I'm surprised to see you here..." Harry muttered as he walked past and towards the kitchen.
Draco could feel his chest tighten like he was about to disapparate. He sighed and followed the other boy. "Professor looked upset... Where were you?"
Harry really didn't feel like dealing with Draco right now but just sighed. He'd be shipped off back to Little Whinging tomorrow and he never knew when he'd get the chance to talk to Ron or Hermione. "Diagon Alley..."
Draco felt a little lost, but wasn't entirely sure why he was. He knew about Diagon Alley. Why would Harry go there? Unless it was just the first place that came to mind. It was one of the most well known Wizard places.
"Oh..."
To say that Harry was surprised was a little understated. He felt confused by the sudden change in Draco's actions. Just before he left the boy was shoving and throwing punches at him and now he was acting like he didn't know what to say. It was so weird to see a side of Draco that wasn't smirking and spitting witty comments. This Draco seemed much more human.
"Are you feeling okay...?"
Draco looked up, taking that moment to notice that he had dropped his head slightly. "What makes you ask?"
Harry raised a brow, wondering how someone that was cunning could possibly miss something like that. "Well for one you aren't saying something insulting..."
Frowning, the slytherin shrugged. He never had meant to come off that way. "Hm..."
Something had to be wrong. Draco had to be sick or something, Harry decided and turned to walk past him but stopped when Draco suddenly stared at him with a look that Harry didn't recognize. Very slowly, a pale hand had lifted itself, touching with a gentleness that Harry would have never associated with Draco Malfoy. Fingers lightly touched over darken and slightly swollen skin while lips curved into a faint frown.
"Does it hurt...?"
Harry felt something stir inside of him that he didn't dare dwell on and moved his head away from the touch, frowning faintly. He couldn't think about something like this. Not now. Not ever. "Only if you touch it."
Draco's hand fell to his side and the barely noticeable frown had spread slightly. "Oh..."
Swallowing, Harry could only stand still and blink. His legs didn't seen to agree with his mind's idea of walking somewhere, anywhere. "I... better go make sure that everything is packed... I'm going back tomorrow..."
"Okay..." Draco said while giving a small nod. Now that the original threat of something happening to Harry was gone. He didn't feel as concerned. Potter could do whatever he wanted now.
The blonde haired Slytherin gave a nod before running a hand back through his hair and heading back to the room that he had taken claim over. Harry frowned, not really sure about Draco but he pushed his thoughts away. He still had a month to to sit and think about things. Life would be boring as ever and Ron and Hermione wouldn't keep him informed. Cause you just don't tell the boy-who-lived anything that wasn't crucial to his survival.

Diagon Alley! Under Attack!
Diagon Alley was attacked yesterday. Many witnesses claim there was use of several Unforgiveables. The Ministry refuses to report on the matter but several people have admitted the attack was brought on by a large number of You-Know-Who's followers. Luckily, the Aurors and the Order of the Phoenix arrived in time to end the attack and restore some order to the area.
Five Death Eaters were captured but their names have not been released. We are unfortunate to announce the Death of Madam Malkin and Wilkie Twycross. Malkin was the owner of Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occassions. Many know Twycross from their O.W.L.s. The wizarding world will surely suffer from the loss. A few other unidentified bodies were found and people are needed to make positive identifications. contin. page 7

A/N - Sorry this was so late getting to you guys! I've just been running around a lot lately since it's my birthday~ Yay. Yep today... I am 19. XD Whoot I'm old. Plus this chapter... is almost painfully short. So that makes it even worse. I debated on what was actually going to happen... a lot. I mean A LOT. This chapter took more plotting than maybe the rest of the story put together... Well... maybe not... but I felt seriously torn with all sorts of possible ways to take this. Please forgive any and all mistakes ( I was about to fall asleep typing this, and in fact, I did, laptop in my lap and all )! Thank you so much for the lovely reviews! They are fuel to my fire and my reason for living. Well...maybe not my reason for living... but they are my reason for writing! Well... them and a way to solve my almost never ending boredom.
