A/N: I’d just like to thank everyone for reviewing and reading my story. You guys are so awesome.

A week had passed since Harry and Severus had returned to Hogwarts, and although classes had resumed no one was taking school too seriously, not even Hermione. Harry of course had not been expected to show up to his classes or even do his homework, and both McGonagall and Flitwick, who had been endlessly working on researching what happened to Harry and Severus, had substitutes. Most of the Aurors had been called off the search for Christopher and were concentrating now on double checking for any sign of Voldemort or his followers.
“Maybe they were dreaming.” Ron suggested that Sunday.
“Dreaming? Both of them! The same dream in the middle of the day? A dream which caused Voldemort to disappear?” Hermione said.
“Not likely.” Draco, who had been embraced as a research helper by Ron and Hermione, said.
“Well this is the Wizarding world.” Ron reasoned.
“True, but that wouldn’t explain why Voldemort disappeared when they came back.” Hermione said.
“We should go see Dumbledore,” Draco suggested, “to see if he has found anything new out.”
Hermione and Ron both agreed and set off with Draco to see the Headmaster. When the trio walked into the office they did not see the headmaster but instead several stacks of books of various thicknesses. Before any member of the trio could say anything someone new walked into the office.
“It seems to me that some ancient magic must be at work.” Dumbledore said to McGonagall.
“How do you know Professor” Draco asked startling the Headmaster who had not yet seen them there.
“Only ancient magic could do something this big.” He replied, and then added, “What are you doing here?”
Ignoring the headmasters question Hermione said, “Should we research ancient magic then Professor? We had only been concentrating on dark magic.”.
“It doesn’t matter I suppose the more areas we research the better.”
“Who all is researching?” Ron asked.
“Well, we are all looking Mr. Weasley. Including Professors McGonagall and Flitwick, as well as Remus. .”
“I see.” Hermione said noticed that McGonagall had a large pile of books in her arms.
“Here. You can take these back to your common room to research” McGonagall said as she handed Hermione the pile of books.
“*Ancient Dark Curses* By Creek and Moonshine. I’ve never heard of this book before!” Hermione said
“That’s because they are not from the Hogwarts Library they are from Dumbledore’s private library.” McGonagall said.

Harry walked into the Potions classroom where Severus was grading papers. Severus had tried his best to stay away from Harry since the week before and to stay completely focused on his grading instead of course Harry had been making that quite difficult.
“What do you want?” Severus said not looking up from his work.
“We need to talk Severus.” Harry sighed.
“You wouldn’t understand Potter.” Severus sighed.
“I lost my son too. And I think…”
“This is the second son that I’ve lost, Potter.”
“I…”
“Go away Potter.”
“Don’t call me that Severus!”
“Why not? It doesn’t matter anymore, don’t you understand? I would think that fact would have been absorbed by that thick skull of yours by now but I guess…”
“This isn’t my fault Severus! Don’t you think I’d much rather be with you and Chris in the forest then here even if it meant never seeing Ron and Hermione again? I didn’t want this, it’s not my fault.” Harry said storming out of the classroom.
That was not the only time that week that Harry would run out of the Potion’s classroom in tears.
…………………...........................................................………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
It seemed as time had slowed down, it had only been a week and a half since Severus and Harry returned but even though, everything had changed. Draco Malfoy now had a good working relationship with Hermione and Ron something which he never thought would happen. They spent countless hours in the library doing both homework and research and had learned to use eachother’s first names.
The Ministry informed the public that Voldemort was gone although they were quite careful in not saying that he was dead and mass celebrations were held every day. Most of the school had accepted that by strange circumstances Harry Potter and Professor Snape were a couple, and when Harry and Severus took there meals together at the Head Table no one made a fuss about it.
Hermione, Draco, and Ron were sitting in the Slytherin Common Room discussing their Charm’s homework when Hermione stopped the conversation. “Oh god! I’ll be back” Hermione had just thought of something and abruptly stood up and shot out the door.
“Huh?” Draco said.
“Oh, she always does that, don’t worry she probably just went to the library.” Ron said.
“I wasn’t worried.” Draco frowned and turned back to his homework.
Hermione had come to the conclusion that although many Aurors and intelligent people had been searching for reasons to explain what happened to Harry and Severus there was one person had not gotten involved; the smartest person in Hermione’s opinion, aside from McGonagall, Professor Binns.
Hermione explained everything to her History of Magic teacher and when she had finished he said he had a theory but before he could explain it to her she was out the door. It turned out that Hermione went to gather Ron, McGonagall, Draco, and Dumbledore together.
“It’s a very ancient spell, the one I’m thinking of that is,” Professor Binns said to the group, “it was created before wizards officially kept a printed record of spells.”
“Well what is it?” Ron said.
“I always thought it was legend...” Binns Began.
“That’s what you thought about the Chamber of Secrets!” Hermione said.
“Yes, well if I should start at the beginning…”
“Yes!” Draco growled, annoyed that he was having to interact with Binns out of class.
“Alright, well, supposedly Tom Riddle’s coming was prophesied, or at least it was a prophecy of a ‘dark wizard’…”
“Yeah Yeah Trelawney’s prophecy, yada yada.” Hermione said clearly annoyed.
“No that’s not what I mean. This prophecy was made over a thousand years ago. It said that a young man whose hatred had consumed him would use his Wizarding powers to destroy all those he believed unworthy. It also claimed that this dark wizard would have a child, whose destiny would be to kill him, as an enemy .”
“So this prophecy. It told of both Voldemort and Harry?” Hermione asked.
“Yes, but it also said when the dark wizard’s hatred had consumed everyone around him, including the one who was destined to kill him, a spell would be triggered and freeze time until a new generation was born and shown the ways and able to reciprocate the ways of love. Now as legend has it the one who created the prophesy is also the one who cast the spell upon the earth ” Binns finished.
“Merlin. Why had I never heard of such a thing” Dumbledore said.
“Well it’s quite boring if you consider the fact that no spell is known that could possibly inflict a curse upon the Earth as well if you consider the fact the supposed prophet neither was very knowledgeable nor was she credible, actually her credibility was as that of Lockhart’s. So you can see why only a historian would be able to tell you the tale, it’s considered nonsense but nonetheless required to learn.”
“Maybe I should find a career in History.” Hermione whispered to Ron.
“Wait a minute,” Draco said, “Why do you historians have to learn about it if it’s considered nonsense.”
“Well you see Mr. Malfoy, it is not so much required as it is mentioned, quite thoroughly, during a typical History Meets Legend class, a class for History of Magic students at Universities.”
“So only historians get to learn about this…how…”
“Actually, that’s not entirely accurate. There are actually two kinds of people who are aware of the story, historians and those who have dedicated their life to The Syndrome, a simple spin-off of the tale.”
“What do you mean Professor? What Syndrome?” Draco asked
“Oh, yes, well, although most didn’t believed the prophecy, or the fact that a simple wizard could cast a spell upon both earth and time itself there was one who did and she came up with a theory which she called the Love Makes the World Go Around syndrome. It’s what is said to happen to someone who ends up living on while the rest of the world is frozen in time awaiting the new generation. It is sort of an extension of The Prophesy and was told, quite conveniently, by the prophet’s daughter. Now the first part of the extension says that the one destined to kill the dark wizard would be sent to the Island of Hope with the one that they love where they would create the next generation which was referred to in the first prophesy.”
“What was the second part of the extension?” Hermione asked.
“The second part says, that once the one destined to kill the dark wizard came back and time continued, the love of the new generation would banish the dark wizard and his followers to life on the island. Supposedly there is a third part to the prophesy but no one knows quite what it is and that’s what researchers have been looking for, that is what some wizards spend their entire lives searching for, the missing part of the prophesy.”
“I really should look into a career in History,” Hermione whispered to Ron again.
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
Two days later Draco, Hermione, and Ron were once again sitting in a common room, but this time it was the Gryffindor one.
“The story was informative enough but I feel like now that we know why Harry and the Professor were stuck on the island there is no hope in finding the baby.” Hermione sighed.
“I know. I wish there was some way to see Severus’ baby. I bet he was so cute and…” Draco said until he was interrupted by a shrill scream.
“Pixies! AHHHH Pixies!” Neville ran into the common room.
“Pixies?” Hermione gasped at the sight of the very distraught Neville.
“They are after me!” Neville cried.
“Cornish pixies?!” Ron said sounding worried. But before Ron could be answered a small pink pixie flew into the common room
“Geesh what’s wrong with him?” the pixie said.
“He’s had bad luck with Pixies.” Hermione said sighing.
“Hermione! What are you doing talking to that thing!” Ron screamed.
“You must be Weasley! Hey Ten, We found the right place.” The pink pixie said.
“Huh? How do you know my name?” Ron asked
A blue pixie came in next holding a small child in his arms, “Geesh! Finally! He was hard to carry all this way.”
“Who is this!” Ron asked.
“Oh Merlin! This is Severus’ baby!” Draco said reaching out for the child.
…………………………………………………………………………………...................................................................................………………………………………………..
Harry and Severus were sitting in Snape’s office not really talking but spending time together upon Dumbledore’s suggestion.
“More tea?” Severus asked Harry.
“Sur…”
“Harry! Harry!” Hermione’s voice called from behind Snape’s spelled shut door.
“Come in.” Snape said frowning and taking off the charm.
“Professor! Harry!” Hermione smiled.
“Wha-“ Harry started
“Ta Da!” Draco ran in with Christopher in his arms.
“Christopher!” Harry shouted.
“He just showed up, well not really, but…” Hermione handed the child to Harry.
“DaDa!” Christopher shouted.
“…he was brought by pixies!” Hermione said.
“Oh god OH Severus! It’s Christopher!” Harry said crying and holding his son tightly.
”I-I- I c-can’t!” Severus said running out of his office
“No. Severus! Wait” Harry called.
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………......................................................…………………………….
Severus had run up to the astronomy tower followed closely by Harry who had given his child to Hermione to hold. He honestly believed he was dreaming and it took quite a while for Harry to convinse him otherwise, but even then he tried to protest.“You’re barely sixteen, how can you possibly take care of a one year old”
“Maybe I’m sixteen but we both know that not only have I never acted my own age, but we lived over two years together which makes me nearly nineteen and not sixteen; Christopher is proof of that!!”
Severus nodded and sighed. He knew he’d feel stupid later for running out of his own office like a child.
“It’s going to be alright, Severus.” Harry smiled.
“I know. Let’s go se-“
“There you are!” Hermione said gasping for breath- apparently she had been looking for them- and followed by Ron and Draco.
“Give him over.” Harry said reaching out to his son.
Hermione complied happily and Severus and Harry reached for their son. Chris was happily explained, in baby talk, what happened, when Hermione spoke again.
“Harry, the pixies who brought Christopher said they would wait for you in the common room.”
“Wait. Did you say pixies?”
“Yes.” Hermione said.
“A pink one and a highly annoying blue one?!” Harry said.
“Yeah. Do you know them?” Hermione said
“Of course!” Harry beamed.
“Let’s go show Chris our rooms and then we’ll go see Abigail and Tenfoot.” Severus said happily pulling Harry away.
Severus, Harry and Chris left followed by Draco who figured that he owed his Slytherin friends an explanation of his absence.
“Ron?” Hermione said once everyone else had gone.
“Yes Love” Ron said both relieved that he didn’t have to do anymore research and happy to see Harry smile again.
“I’d just wanted to tell you how proud I am of you.” Hermione said.
“…”
“You’ve handled this very maturely.” She continued.
“Handled what?” Ron asked, confused.
“Finding out that your best mate is gay and had your potion’s professor’s baby.”
“What are you talking about Hermione? I’ve known Harry was gay since fourth year.”
“Fourth year!? Ron, I didn’t even know he was gay until fifth year.” Hermione said disbelieving.
“Hermione, there is no doubt that you are much smarter then me but I have five older brothers, and they aren’t entirely straight; both Charlie and Bill are bi and Percy is just flat out gay.”
“Oh.”
…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….................................................................………………………….
That night…
“Well we were quite surprised; we were planning a party to celebrate the new moon when it happened. We sort of blacked out, but when we regained consciences we were back in our home near London. We were highly surprised when we saw Chris was with us! But we knew what to do, Sevvi-kins had told us were he had come from, and so we figured that all we had to do was find Hogwarts and we’d find someone who knew where Sev was,” Abigail, who was gladly sharing her story with anyone who’d listen, said.
Up at the Head Table Dumbledore leaned over to McGonagall and said, “I guess we can cancel exams.”
“Albus!” Minerva frowned.
“Well, why not? It wouldn’t be the first time.”
Minerva rolled her eyes but nodded when she looked over to see Harry and Severus feeding and babbling to their son.
…………………………………………………………………………......................................................................................................................………………
Meanwhile sitting on an island, far away in a place that no one could find and no one could leave, a very angry Lord Voldemort was arguing with a purple pixie named Diane, and a green pixie named Eightcentimeters while his many confused Death Eaters watched.
The end!
A/n: Originally the story was to end with Severus and Harry upset confused but on the road to recovery of their loss, Then it was going to end with Harry being pregnant but as I for some odd reason had a strange obsession with Professor Binns all of a sudden I settled on this ending. I’m not happy with it and it leaves an icky WAFF hanging around but oh well.
Thanks again for reading.
