Hell Hath No Fury Like A Ginny Scorned

Notes – I’ve realized that I’ve made a few BIG mistakes about my dear little Sevvie and have made him way too nice. Oops, I did it again. Well, lets just say that he has an epiphany and has realized that Jessica can be used against him, so he will once again become the snarky, nasty Snape that we all know and love. But that’s just in public. In private, he will be flowery and romantic. I very sincerely apologize for this. Thanks to all my fans who have pointed this out. *Smacks self in head*. I’m just a romantic at heart. Hopefully, AFF will still be up by the time this posts. But I have just signed up for an account at hpfandom.net under this name. I hope that my stories will not be too bad for the site. I might have to tone them down a bit to continue this. The AFF site says that they could close at any minute, if you read the top. Let’s hope not. Who else here is a Rickmaniac? I am. I just love Alan that voice. I was watching one of his movies, Love Actually last night. One of the actors (they were all English) said that American girls love a British accent. Must be true, cause I do. And Alan has some equally amazing appendages. Check out the movie, Dark Harbor and you’ll see what I’m talking about. Lyrics belong to Heart.(I changed blue eyes to black)

Cold, late night so long ago
when I was not so strong you know
A pretty man came to me
I never seen eyes so black
You know, I could not run away it seemed
we’d seen each other in a dream
Seemed like he knew me....he looked right through me....yeah
Come on home, girl he said with a smile
you dont have to love me yet, lets get high awhile
But try to understand...try to understand
Try, try, try to understand.....Im a magic man
Winter nights we sang in tune
Played inside the months of moon
Never think of never..let this spell last forever
Well, summer lover passed to fall
tried to realize it all
Mama says shes worried..growing up in a hurry
Come on home, girl Mama cried on the phone
Too soon to lose my baby yet, my girl should be at home
But try to understand....try to understand
Try, try, try to understand..hes a magic man, Mama...ah...hes a magic man
Come on home, girl he said with a smile
I cast my spell of love on you, a woman from a child
But try to understand...try to understand..
Oh...oh....try, try, try to understand....
Hes a magic man....oh....hes got the magic hands
Come on home, girl he said with a smile
You dont have to love me yet, lets get high awhile
But try to understand....try to understand
Try, try, try to understand...hes a magic man.....yeah...oh......

Ginny stared as she edged closer to the bed. The black mark on Jessica’s wrist was red around the edges and was raised slightly. It was definitely the Dark Mark. Ginny clearly recalled seeing it during the Triwizard Tournament during her third year.

She heard a snort and jumped. It was Professor Snape, snoring loudly in his chair. She shook her head as she stood over Jessica. The mudblood slut had gotten just what she deserved.

“Filthy Death Eater.” Ginny muttered as she knelt down by the bed. One finger reached out to touch the skull and snake design. It felt a little slimy, probably because of the healing salve on it, but it was puffy under her touch.

“What are you doing girl?” came the cool velvet voice of Snape. Before Ginny could respond she found herself against the wall, and a very livid teacher towering menacingly over her.

“You will not breathe a word of this to anyone. Do you understand that?” Ginny nodded, still not able to speak. Snape’s wand pointed at her.

“Good. Because if a whisper of this gets out, I will personally deliver you to Voldemort. Make no mistake about that.” He hissed in an icy voice.

Ginny ran from the room, forgetting all the pain in her throbbing ankle. She didn’t stop until she was safe in the common room. Harry was sitting in a chair, his spell book dangling from one hand as he dozed. A cruel smile formed on Ginny’s lips. A plan was forging in her mind. Quickly, she whipped up a few tears.

“Harry. Harry wake up.” She tapped his shoulder, thrilled with the aspect of touching him. His muscles were getting more clearly defined as each year passed and were quite visible under his t-shirt.
Harry jumped up, brandishing his wand. He put it away when he saw, to his relief that it was only Ginny. He noticed her tears and asked her what was wrong.

“It’s not Malfoy, is it Ginny?”

“No it’s not Draco.” She watched Harry’s eyes darken at the mention of the name. “It’s Professor Snape.”

“What about Snape? Did he do something to you?”

Ginny wanted to tell Harry everything, her encounter and what Professor Snape had said. But she knew that if it ever got back to Snape, he would surely follow through on his orders to bring her to Voldemort. She would just have to think of some other way to get even with Jessica.

‘He just yelled at me and told me to get out of the infirmary. Said that what was going on there wasn’t my business. I just wanted some pain potion because my ankle is still sore from earlier when you ran into me.” There, if that didn’t work, than surely the guilt would.

“I’m sorry about that, Gin. I’ll go get the potion for you.” He climbed through the portrait hole and headed for the hospital wing. When he got there, Harry heard the sound of a woman sobbing quietly. He stuck his head around the screen that was put up in front of the bed. It was all he could do to keep from gasping out in shock. Jessica was on her knees with her back towards him, her body racked with sobs. Her back was red raw with whip marks and she let out a sob as Madame Pomfrey touched her with a salve. Harry couldn’t look away. He knew that this was the work of Voldemort.

“Let me see your wrist, dearie.” Pomfrey said soothingly. Jessica held her arm out as the medi-witch applied more salve to the mark on her arm. Harry couldn’t believe what he saw there. The Dark Mark was burned onto the pale flesh there. Jessica was a Death Eater, just like Snape. If not for Poppy’s next words, Harry would have run to Dumbledore in a flash.

“You poor girl. Doing this for us at a great risk. We all appreciate it, you know.” Jessica nodded in between sobs. “And in your condition, no less.” She patted Jessica’s hand gently.

“Is every thing all right with that?” she asked.

Poppy nodded, “You’re fine, dear. In a few more weeks, I can tell you what sex the baby is if you’d like.”

‘I’d love that Poppy. I’m going to go back to sleep now. Goodnight.” Harry saw Jessica lay back down on her stomach. He ducked his head back behind the curtain and backed away. It hurt him to know that Jessica was a Death Eater now, that she was doing it for him, for the Order. But it hurt even worse to know that she was having Snape’s child.

Jessica was saying something to Snape. He heard “Voldemort” and he felt his anger grow.

“I can’t believe he had you do that to me.”

“Yes, the Dark Lord can be cruel at times.”

“Harry, what are you doing here?” Harry turned around, coming face to face with Dumbledore.

“I was just getting something for Ginny.”

Albus smiled. “I hope that you will not speak of what you saw to anyone at all, Harry. Jessica had her own reasons for doing this. One of them was you.”

“Me, why me?” Harry whispered as Albus ushered him away.

“Because she thinks of you as a friend, Harry. A brother.”

“Then there is no chance for us.” He hung his head.

“I’m afraid not. She is married to Severus now and she will be having his child. She loves him very much.”

“Does Snape love her?” Harry asked dryly.

“Professor Snape, Harry.” He gently corrected. “Yes, he loves her as much as she loves him. At a terrible risk to himself, might I add.”

“What do you mean?”

“If Severus is ever found out, I’m afraid that Voldemort would use Jessica against him.”

‘You mean they’d hurt her just to get to him?”

“They would. Tonight, to show her loyalty to him, Voldemort himself beat Jessica. 25 lashes, one for each year of her life that she was not in Service to him. Then he subjected her to his Death Eaters.”

Harry felt so guilty about that he could hardly breathe. Jessica had gone thorough that for him? Her body flashed back into his mind, the red welts, and the mark on her wrist. The way she had cried at being touched. Albus patted him on the knee. He handed Harry a bottle, telling him to give it to Ginny. Harry crept away from the room, barely able to see.

Albus watched as Severus held Jessica’s hand. She was sleeping again. Her back was slowly healing, but would be scarred forever. A constant reminder of who she served. He saw a light in Severus’ eyes, a glimmer of hope that was not usually there. Albus hoped that Severus would stay happy.

Back in the Gryffindor common room, Harry handed the bottle to Ginny. He noticed a quick grin on her face as he sat back into his chair.

“What’s wrong? Did you see something?” Ginny asked, her voice sounding like Umbridge.

“You sent me down there on purpose, didn’t you Ginny? You knew that Jessica was there, and that she was hurt. WHY?”

‘Why? You ask why?’ Ginny yelled. “Because I love you Harry. Jessica doesn’t love you, but I can. I’d do anything for you.” She reached a hand out and laid it on Harry. He shoved it away.

“You’re wrong. She does love me, but not like I love her. She loves me so much that she was willing to face Voldemort.”

“She’s a traitor. That’s what she is. She’s just a whore to me. Nothing but a useless mudblood. Let her have Snape. They deserve each other. It’s just too bad she didn’t die.”

Harry paled. “You don’t mean that, Ginny.”

“Yes, I do.” Ginny replied coldly. Harry stood. He faced Ginny.

“I can’t be your friend anymore, Ginerva.” He walked away, broken at her cruel words, Ginny had always liked him, but he looked at her as a kid sister.

‘The same way Jessica feels about me.” Harry thought. He went to bed and drew his curtains. He didn’t want to see anyone right now.

The next morning Jessica woke up to find herself lying on her back, her body covered with a white sheet. Severus was sound asleep in a chair next to her. He looked so uncomfortable in the small chair, his tall frame at odd angles. He had taken off his cloak and coat and was wearing his button up shirt. A thin line of drool ran from his mouth and dribbled down his chin. He also looked like he needed a shower and a shave.

Jessica pulled on a robe and walked over to the bathroom. She stood in front of the mirror, lowering the garment as she turned around slowly. Shiny, white scars were covering her skin. She wanted to cry, but didn’t. She had to be strong now. The cut above her heart was still fresh. Jessica pulled the bandage off and threw it into the trash. It looked like it could bleed at any second. Holding a shaking hand up she turned it over and stared at it. The Dark Mark was not sore anymore. It looked like a tattoo of sorts.

‘An evil one.’ She thought. Jessica wondered why Voldemort had chosen to mark her there. All of the other Death Eaters were marked back farther. Pettigrew was marked near his elbow, Lucius was marked near the middle and Severus’ was nearer to his wrist. Jessica thanked Severus for buying her all those long sleeved dresses. She hoped that a little foundation and powder would cover the mark.

Jessica walked back out to the room. Severus had woken up while she was in the bathroom. He met her eyes and she could see that he was upset. He held his arms out and she went into them. They kissed and he pulled away.
“I have to tell you something. I can’t act like I did yesterday in Hogsmeade. I let my feelings cloud my judgment. I have to uphold a certain manner, a way of being. Do you understand?”

“I do, Severus. You have to maintain that Slytherin image. You can’t turn into a lovesick fool. I know how hard you worked to get the stick up your ass. I’d hate to have to ruin that for you.” Jessica teased.

He growled and playfully nipped her arm. His voice was like silk in her ear when he spoke again.

“But in private, I will treat you they way you deserve. Publicly, you are a wife and not a student; your classes will be discontinued. You will do what the other wives do. Sit and be pretty, an ornament.”

‘What if I have to defend myself?”

‘You won’t have to. I will do that. And the Dark Lord will also see to it. Have you noticed where he marked you? It is a ranking. The closer to the hand, the closer you are to his hand.”

“So, I’m higher ranking than you?”

“Yes. Unbelievable for a muggleborn. But he does appreciate beauty, and cunning.”

“A true Slytherin.” Jessica remarked.

“I have to run to the classroom quickly and make some more things for Poppy. It shouldn’t take to long. I brought you a dress to wear. Make sure your wrists stay hidden at all times.” He kissed her again and swept out of the rooms. Jessica quickly dressed and headed for the Great Hall. On one of the staircases, Ginny stopped her. Jessica clutched her wand in her dress, ready to do what she could to protect herself. She stood taller, acting like the wife of a Snape. The Snape’s were even above the Malfoy’s in regards to the rest of the wizarding world. Severus had acquired the title of Lord Snape from his father.

“I’m sorry for doing that to you. I really thought that you’d be better than that. Being a Death Eater and all.” Ginny said quietly as they reached the top of another staircase.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about, Miss Weasley. I’m not a Death Eater.”

“Don’t play games with me, Jessica. I SAW YOU LAST NIGHT!” Ginny screamed. More students were gathering around, but Ginny didn’t care. She didn’t even care about Snape’s vow to bring her to Voldemort. She had lost Harry and didn’t care about anything else but revenge.

“You will address me as Lady Snape and nothing else. I will be speaking to your head of house about this.” Jessica said in such a way that the students all around her could have sworn that it was a female Snape.

‘Here I’ll help you get there” Ginny shoved with all her might and Jessica fell backwards, tumbling down the stairs. She hit her head on the marble column by the bottom of the stairs and blacked out. Ginny watched with an evil smile as Jessica lay unmoving, a crumbled heap of black velvet and pale skin. She was still as stone, her face to the floor, a thin trickle of blood coming from the large gash on her skin. Students ran down as quickly as they could, but none of them dared to touch her. She looked dead.

“That’s what you deserve, bitch.” Ginny laughed.

AN- okay, Sev and Jess will have their wedding soon, but it will be just them and Dumbledore. Ginny totally will get what she deserves. Jessica will get the most perfect revenge. More lemons coming in the next chapter. My boyfriend thinks it’s weird to read the sex scenes. He says cause it’s my name and it’s fucked up to read things like me doing Snape. He pictures me and Alan Rickman (as Snape) going at it in the Potions Classroom (I wish). Just kidding honey.

Branwen- Yeah, Snape’s like that in public. He has to be.

Jenn- Glad you liked the song. I was laughing so hard as I wrote it, that I snorted like a pig. That happens when I laugh too much. I usually have to hold my nose when laughing to keep from doing that. It was a nasty chapter, intense and surprisingly easy to write. Ginny’s a woman who has been hurt by love. I sure know what that feels like, as I’m sure most of us do. Draco will open her eyes. *grins*

Alila- I try to update as often as possible. It’s always twice a week. There are some authors who update once every few months. Do you not like this? I hope that you do.

TicTac- Yep, more Draco and Ginny goodness coming up.

Dreamweaver- Wow! I loved the long review. Kiss From A Rose is my song. Love it, even though it’s kind of morbid. I had Peeves’ song in my head all day too. Where do you live? I’ve never heard of an edited version of American Idol. I was going to try out though. I have a pretty good voice and it would have been worth it to get told off by Simon. I know, Ginny did come across as more of a baddie than Voldemort. I think that’s what Hermione would say. She always knows the right thing.

Lightgoddess- I 100% agree with you about Mary Sue. Who gives a flying fuck if it’s not canon correct? It’s fanfic. Fiction from the fans view. “Evil Ginny” Yep, that’s what she is. Poor Jess, she got roughed up in this chapter too. I am so glad that you posted here on aff.

Lorett- Another long review. You guys make me feel so great! Hope that you’re feeling better. Snape is back to his old ways, but not in private. I had to do the Mary Sue jab at myself. I don’t mind your honesty at all. Hope you won’t mind the occasional sweet Snape in the bedroom. I will start reading your story tomorrow. Got to rush home to watch America’s Next Top Model.

Madelyn- hope your exams went well. We are here until Friday, so I’ll be pretty much fucking around and writing this. Screw them. Jessica is a survivor. She’ll be okay. She had an abusive boyfriend in her past. Sadly, she will never get over Harry. Sometimes you don’t get over a person that you love.

Hater of Ginny- I can’t tell you what will happen. But she does get what’s coming to her.

Catpower- Very good point you made. Ginny is bitter. My years of reading Stephen King (18 years now. Started reading him when I was 8) have totally fucked up mind. I write books under the name Destiny Black. I’m working on my 16th on right now. Still waiting to be published.

TwiggyTurtle- Yeah, I’ve got a fucked up mind. But you should meet my family. They are all gone.

Eve/roarke- Thanks for the review and the advice.

Laura- thanks.

Dido- I won’t go there.

Silver1- Hello again!

Krispy- Welcome to the story.
