Chapter 11
A/N: I own nothing, it all belongs to J.K., except for the challenge, that belongs to Dahlias. I am making no money from this, I do it for my own pleasure. Please vote on who I should pair Severus with, the link for voting is in my bio, on my profile. I will not pair him with anyone until the voting has finished on Nov. 21, 2004.

Chapter 11
Harry told Lily about the Weasleys and Severus and Draco; Lily was asking about each of the Weasley siblings when James slid back into the frame. “Lils, I think that Sirius and Remus might want to cut me out of this picture,” he told her. He hid behind his wife and watched the doors from over her shoulder.
“What did you do?” she asked.
He shrugged his shoulders. “I went looking for them. When I found them, they were kind of busy, so I sat down and waited.”
Lily slapped him on the shoulder. “Did you sit and watch them?”
“I was trying not to look, but they have gotten so old. I just wanted to be sure that I had found the right people,” James said.
Sirius ran into the room, tying the belt on his dressing gown. “Prongs, I am taking all of the portraits out of our bedroom. You are such a peeping Tom.”
Remus strolled into the room behind him, fully dressed. “Prongs, Lily, how are you?” he asked.
“We’re fine, Remus. How have you been?” she asked.
Sirius let out a frustrated sigh, “I’m going to get dressed,” he said. “Stay out of my room, Prongs,” he shouted as he stormed out the door.
Remus walked over to the frame and looked at them. “Give him a little while, he’ll forget about it,” he said to the man in the picture.
Harry left Remus having a conversation with his parents while he went to check on Serena. Draco followed him, “It must have been quite a shock to see your parents’ portrait for the first time.”
Harry laughed. “You’re not kidding. I didn’t even know that there were portraits of my family.”
“Well, you’ll get to know the way that they were when the portrait was painted,” Draco said as he slowly slid his arm around the brunette’s waist.
“You know Draco, I’ve been thinking about you a lot,” Harry started. “I’ve been wondering if you wanted to maybe…” he paused and cleared his throat. “Bemyboyfriend?”
Draco stopped. “What did you say?” he asked.
Harry turned toward the blonde. “If you wanted to be my boyfriend?” He watched Draco’s face for a second. “I mean, we don’t have to. But I thought that we could give it a try, and maybe see if it works.” He turned around and started walking. “Forget that I said anything,” he said. “I was just talking without thinking.”
Draco watched him walking away and quickly ran to catch up. “Harry,” he said.
“It’s alright, Draco,” Harry said. “I didn’t really expect you to want to be my boyfriend. I just thought that you might want to give it a try.”
Draco grabbed his arm and spun him around. “Will you please let me talk?”
Harry looked at him. “You don’t have to explain,” he whispered.
The blonde watched the play of emotions in Harry’s eyes. “Bugger this,” he whispered back. He wrapped a hand around Harry’s neck and pulled him forward. “If you won’t listen, I’ll just have to show you.” He leaned in and gently touched his lips to Harry’s. He pulled back slightly and then leaned in again, touching the tip of his tongue to the slightly parted lips in front of him. Harry sighed and leaned into Draco’s body.
“How could you think that I would say no to you?” he asked. “I have been trying to let you know that I was interested for days now.”
Harry leaned in and kissed the blonde again, sliding his tongue across his lips, seeking entrance. Draco happily granted it and explored Harry’s mouth. He leaned in and wrapped his arms around the slimmer boy’s waist, then pulled his head back. “Maybe we should do this somewhere other than the hallway.”
Harry laughed and pulled him toward the bedroom. “Hopefully there won’t be any portraits in my room.”
