Chapter Nine
Draco stared, unblinking and unmoving from his spot at the top of the stairs. His eyes shifted from Brye and Lakona’s curious gazes to Blaise’s confused stare and finally to that of Harry’s downcast eyes and guilty body language. It only took the blonde a minute to rationalize that Harry had something to do with the new turn of events. With an arched eyebrow, Draco turned to his father and looked for the answers, something he hadn’t done for a long time.
“Dad?” Draco asked again.
“In the flesh.” Lucius answered.
“One more thing to get me into trouble.” Harry muttered under his breath.
Draco arched an eyebrow and Lucius let out a deep rumbling laugh. “No Mr. Potter-” He was cut off, however, by Harry’s sudden growl.
“Lucius Malfoy, you damned fool! You let them follow you here?! I SHOULD have left you! I should have left you to DIE and ROT on that damned BATTLE FIELD!” Harry seethed out causing the elder Malfoy to cringe.
Not two seconds later, a knock was heard on the front door. Brye was stopped by the death grip Harry placed on his arm. One deadly glare from the brunette lapsed Brye into compliant silence. “No one,” He paused to look around the room, “is to open that door.” He said with a menacing voice.
“Harry-” Draco stopped short at the look in his boyfriends eyes. A look he hadn’t seen since the night Voldemort was killed.
“Unless you want to see me get really angry, you will advise everyone to pack everything they don’t want to see burned or damaged and take them, your father and the dogs to my house and wait there for me. And I do mean .now. Draconis Lucius Malfoy.” Harry hissed out causing the blonde to jump. “You,” He directed to Lucius, “I will deal with later.”
“Draco?” Blaise asked.
“Lets move.” Draco commanded. “I don’t want to stick around and wait for things to get ugly.

“Draco? What’s wrong? Where’s Harry?” Jericho asked when she saw Draco along with four other people standing in the entry way.
“Jer, he just went crazy all of a sudden!” Lakona blurted out.
Jericho looked from Lakona’s scared, pale face to Draco’s worried one. “Tell me what happened. Please?”
“I think we should ask my father what made Harry so mad he was about to kill everyone over.” Draco retorted.
Lucius sighed. “It was the Order of Shiva. After Potter left the wizarding world, Fudge convinced the people that Potter would be the next Dark Lord. This order, the people blind enough to forget Potter’s loyalty, are hell bent on killing him before he gathers any followers and rises against them. Fudge will ultimately reap the benefits, gaining money, fame and power…all of which he promised to the members of the Order of Shiva.” Lucius said.
“So why did they follow you to get to him. And what the bloody hell are you doing alive?!” Draco paused and calmed himself. “I saw you die! I saw Ronald Weasley beat you to death!” Draco choked out.
“That damned whelp did injure me severely, yes. I’m sure you saw Potter defending me yes?: Lucius asked. Draco nodded and the elder Malfoy sighed. “He stunned his friends and dragged me off the field. He gave me a healing charm and a pain potion then he swore me to secrecy. At the time, it had to appear that I was dead. A disillusionment charm was placed on a fallen body and no one knew what really happened save for me and Potter. Everyone else was too wrapped up in the battle.” Lucius paused. “Two seconds.” He dead panned.
Two seconds later, an audible pop was heard from the foyer. Draco rushed into Harry’s arms and buried his face into the brunettes neck. Strong arms returned the embrace before Draco felt something warm and wet seep through his shirt. Pulling back, Draco gasped and looked into Harry’s eyes.
“Shh. Just help me to the couch. Jer will help me.” Harry whispered before sagging against Draco and closing his eyes.
“Blaise, I need your help!” Draco called.
“What happened to him?” Blaise asked when he saw Harry leaning against his best friend.
“I don’t know. Just help me get him to the couch.” Draco answered.
With little effort, Harry was gently placed on the couch. Both ex- Slytherins were rudely pushed out of the way by an angry cousin. Before they could say anything, Jericho started to speak in a language neither had heard since their second year of school.
“Harry, you can open your eyes now.” Jericho said.
Emerald eyes opened slowly, squinting against the light. Harry sighed and pushed himself up into a sitting position against the back of the couch. “Lucius?”
“Yes Potter?”
“Remind me to kill you someday.”
Lucius laughed. “I’ll think about it.”
“Harry?” Draco asked.
“Hi handsome.” Harry said smiling.
Draco allowed a small smile to dance on his lips before it was replaced by a concerned frown. “You ok?” He asked.
“Now I am. After you left, they barged in. all 18 of the damned fools. Two I killed, five were hexed and the remaining idiots were stunned. By now they’ll have rescued Ron and Hermione. I got a knife thrown at me. Good thing we’re leaving tonight though. Jer, you too. And before you ask why, it turns out they recruited lover boy.” Harry said.
“Shit.” Jericho muttered and stood. A split and silent second later, she was gone.
“How did she do that without making a sound?” Blaise asked.
Harry laughed. “She, Serena, Chyeanne and their friend Amy are elementals. Jericho has a unique ability to control air.” Harry answered. “Anyways, we need to move. Everyone outside, out back if you please. I’m going to pack. Chyeanne, take the dogs. Serena, stay with me for a minute.” Harry said.
The two waited for everyone to head outside before Harry spoke again. He had his back to her as he stared into the flames of his fireplace.
“Call Loki. Tell him to have the beach house ready. We’re going to need all the rooms this time so tell him he better have all his friends out if he knows what’s best for him.” Harry instructed.
Serena nodded her head and made her way out of the house. She pulled her cell phone out of her pocket and dialed Loki’s number. She had done business with him before and she hated it. She hated him, but she would never complain. She hated the way he walked tried to try her into a hair brained idea that could cause her harm. She hated the fact that he was sneaky and got away with it. She hated that he was a pyro and claimed to know the most about how to start fires when she herself was a fire elemental. She also hated that he had gotten one of her best friends killed because of one of his tricks.
Serena was so caught up in her thoughts after she had relayed Harry’s message that she didn’t notice Harry and Jericho walking up behind her. Jericho smirked. “Everything all set then?” She asked in Serena’s ear.
“Dammit Jer, don’t scare me like that! And yes. Everything is ready. Harry, can I do it?” Serena asked.
Harry rolled his eyes and waved her off with his hand. “Fine, go ahead.” He answered.
Serena grinned and seconds later, Harry’s house was starting to smoke. Down the street, Jericho’s house was becoming noticeable as it too burned. Draco, Brye, Lakona, Blaise and Chyeanne were all watching in shock as the three walked over to them in the back yard.
“Come on. It’s broad day light. If we wait too long the neighbors are gonna see us.” Harry said. “Get in a circle, make sure you’re touching a dog, if not link hands, and don’t let go.” He commanded.
Within seconds the group of humans and animals landed on a long, remote stretch of deserted shore line.
“Harry, I hate to be the one to ask, but, where are we?” Brye asked.
Harry grinned. “Gentlemen. Ladies, welcome to my island.”
