Chapter eleven: Disturbing dreams
Chapter eleven: Disturbing dreams
Amelia had calmed down since her break down a couple of weeks ago. That day was the first time that she had ever actually let out all her feelings of anger, pain and hatred from within. She had never once done this before.
Amelia slept in her bed tossing and turning.
"I want you to kill him. If you do not I shall kill you," Voldemort's icy voice droned.
"No." Amelia shook her head. "I can not do it." She looked down at the old man who looked scared as hell.
"You will!" Voldemort's voice echoed around her.
"You wouldn't kill me. I'm your daughter, you life and blood." Amelia seemed baffled.
"Children that betray their elders are not worthy of living," Voldemort replied. Severus looked at her.
"Amelia," Severus whispered. "Remember what we had talked about." Amelia sighed and took out her wand. She looked at the man as he rocked back and forth.
"No." Amelia put down her wand. Severus felt his heart break in to pieces.
"Wrong choice my dear. You are too soft for my liking. Too much like your mother."
"My mother was there for me! You weren't!" Amelia shouted.
"AVADA KEDAVRA!" Voldemort shouted. A green light appeared as Amelia let out a high pitched piercing scream.
Amelia shot up. Her breath ragged, body covered in sweat, heart palpitating furiously. She couldn't stand this anymore. She had been having these dreams about hatheather, over and over again. Amelia hopped out of her bed and walked into her bathroom. She looked at herself in the mirror. She looked horrible; her eyes had black rings around them.
Amelia turned on the taps and splashed some cold water on her face. She took in a couple of breaths and then walked back into her room. It was still a little early in the morning, actually no; it was very early in the morning. It was about 4:30. Amelia grabbed a cloak and wrapped it around her. She left her room and went to go and have a chat to her grandfather.
Amelia walked through the corridors wrapping her cloak around her hardy covered body. It was cold and she was getting a little scared walking around alone and hearing all the noises that she still wasn't used to hearing all the time. She had been used to it once before but now coming back everything was new to her. She walked up to her grandfather's office and knocked the door. The door opened and Amelia looked in.
"Come in dear," Dumbledore's voice sounded from another place. Amelia walked in and closed the door behind her. She walked around the office and into lit little room that she had used to rest in before.
"Why are you up granddad?" Amelia questioned as she sat down and a very soft pillow filled couch.
"I am always awake when I am needed."
"OAmelAmelia made sure that her cloak did not come undone.
"What is wrong my dear?" Dumbledore asked.
"My dreams, they won’t stop." Amelia sighed. "I see people die, I see me die, at my fathers and other death eaters hands."
"Do you see everything? From the start of their gatherings to the end of their gatherings?"
"Yes," Amelia nodded. "From start and sometimes to finish if I don't wake myself up. Some aren't the official meetings, I don't see Severus there. It’s just my father and about 10 to 20 other Death Eaters wearing white s." s."
"Hmm, yes." Dumbledore stroked his beard.
"I just want them to stop. I can not sleep, look at me - I look dreadful." Amelia ran her finger under her eye.
"Oh you do not look that bad." Dumbledore chuckled.
"Yes, funny granddad," Amelia laughed.
"There is only one thing that I can recommend. I do not know of this may work."
"Just tell me."
"Occlumency."
"Doesn't Severus do that?" Amelia asked, she didn't know if she could really work with him for a long time, on their own.
"Yes. He is very good at it too. I highly recommend him."
"Ok." Amelia sighed. "Do you know why I am having the dreams?"
"I think that your father is showing you what he sees. You two hold the same blood and life inside of you; you have everything he has but his heart. I expect that you two would be sharing some sought of brain wave that he is able to interact with and make you see what he does." Dumbledore explained.
"Oh."
"I remember the Mr. Potter had the same problem." Dumbledore remembered the year before.
"I feel sorry for Harry," Amelia frowned. "He grew up with no parents."
"Yes." Dumbledore nodded. "When the time is suitable please go and see Severus, the sooner the better."
"Yes, thank you granddad." Amelia stood up and gave her grandfather a hug.
"My pleasure, my dear,"
"I will see you later." Amelia stood up and walked out of the little room and then out of the office. Amelia walked back through the corridors and back in to her office. She sat down at her desk and sat there, she couldn't sleep anymore, not until she had a word with Severus.

Amelia raised her head off of her desk as the sun shone in her eyes. She looked around and remembered that she had fallen asleep on her desk. She rubbed her eyes and stood up. She walked into her room and grabbed some clothes to put on. She had an extensive wardrobe of muggle shirts, skirts and pants. She put on her black pants and a cream shirt then lazily tied her hair up.
Amelia walked in to her office glad that today was actually a Saturday. She looked up at her grandfather clock and realized that she had just missed the first 20 minutes of breakfast. She knew that Severus never really went to breakfast so she headed out of her office and over to his.
"Severus?" Amelia called.
"Come in," Severus said, sounding distant. Amelia opened the door and walked up to his desk.
"Ah, morning." Amelia felt nervous.
"Yes, morning it is." Severus said sarcastically.
"Can I ask you to help me with something?" Amelia sat down.
"Tell me what it is and I will think about it." Severus leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms.
"Ok. Well my grandfather told me to come here and ask you for Occlumency lessons." Amelia looked at Severus as he showed nothing. Severus sat there and thought for a while. "Please Severus; I want to stop my dreams. I want to sleep." Severus looked at her. There was something about this girl that made him so attracted to her.
"If you wish."
"Oh thank you." Amelia smiled.
"I shall see you here tomorrow, at 8:00 sharp."
"In the morning or night?" Amelia wondered.
"Night."
"Ok, thanks again Severus." Amelia stood up. "I shall see you around." Amelia left his office.
