Afternoon at the Malfoy's
I sat comfortably on the armchair outside the Malfoy Manor. Lucius however was striding back and forth past the table between us. His blonde hair swayed in the winds embrace, and he looked as though he were going to lose his temper at any moment. Clutching my chair, just in case … I watched as he finally turned to me with a look of anguish – something few witness of Lucius, “Severus, what am I to do?” his cold blue eyes gleaming with pain.
“Quite frankly I don’t know what you should do Lucius, the Ministry meant what they meant – and if you don’t depart of your beloved torture devices … you may be arrested,” I said coldly, trying to forget the cries of pleasure his wife had the the week before.
“But – but, our Lord needs them… for practice,” Lucius uttered as Narcissa’s personal maid strolled by.
Glancing towards the maid, I noticed her eyes linger over to me frequently, perhaps she had a message from Narcissa, “Lucius, if you excuse me, I won’t be a moment,” with that I rose from my seat, leaving behind a particularly worried Lucius, whose hands were still glued to the table between his chair and mine.
Entering the manor I strode down the hallway, trying to be visible for the maid to find me. It was more than obvious Narcissa had sent her down to ask something of me, then it became evident when the young woman scurried up the steps and into the hallway, “Professor,” the maid uttered in her Austrian accent, “Professor, Madam wanted me to give this to you,” she handed me a letter, looking at it, it had Narcissa’s seal upon in, in a forest green the letters marked – N Malfoy. I thanked the maid and as she left, I slipped the letter into my cloak and went back down to Lucius.
“Severus,” Lucius said, looking up at me from his armchair, “Narcissa’s been acting awfully strange around me lately,” oh lord, I was waiting for it to come.
“And why is that Lucius?” I asked, still standing a few meters away, before him.
“She’s less enthusiastic when sleeping with me … it’s as though she’s,” Lucius urged me to come closer, and as I did so hesitantly, he whispered into my ear – “faking it.” This came as no surprise to me, anyhow, I felt sorry for the bastard. Losing his toys and his wife’s pleasurable moan in one week must have been agonizing.
“Oh, well Lucius I’m so sorry,” I tried to look slightly sorry for him, after all; apparently I was one of his closest confidants.
“What does it matter to you anyway,” Lucius sighed, “you don’t have anyone that calls out your name, do you?” he asked, and I saw that sly little smile creep up upon his face – almost daring me to prove him wrong.
“Ah, but I have Lucius,” My upper lip curled into a sadistic smile, I wanted to torture him so badly.
With interest Lucius raised one of his eyebrows, “You do? And who is the lucky woman?”
“None of your business,” I sneered. Oh yes Lucius, she’s your wife – I’m the reason she never calls out your name… I thought to myself, suppressing a smile.
“Oh come now, you have no one,” Lucius snorted, “What woman would want a sarcastic, greasy, Potion’s Master like yourself?”
“Greasy?” I felt insulted.
“I don’t intend on stroking your hair to find out if it’s just too shiny and well kept, or just to oily and unwashed,” Lucius laughed heartily, I just stared back at him with narrowed eyes.
“And this is coming from someone with white features and without the blue eyes would look like an albino,” I smiled at my triumph – Lucius hated being called an albino.
“I’m no albino!” Lucius jumped out of his armchair, “don’t say such nonsense!”
“Indeed,” Carefully I made my way over to settle down into my own armchair, “keep telling yourself that Lucius,” I smirked.
Enjoying a moment of silence, I noticed that Narcissa in periwinkle blue had stepped out of the manor. Looking towards us, we both turned with gracious faces towards her. She waved and gently made her way down the steps of the manor and walked over. I appreciated her beauty, the gentle bun she usually put her hair up into – the gentle sway of her hips as her lovely gown hugged her body in a seductive manor. I could easily imagine her hips rocking back and forth… and there it came again, the undeniable urge to rip her clothing off and trace my tongue along the contours of her slender body. Everything about her was so graceful, approaching us, her eyes met mine, and for a moment I could see her embarrassment as she turned away and back to Lucius, “Hello gentlemen,” she smiled, her cheeks turning a rosy pink, “how nice to see you both.”
“Narcissa, don’t talk nonsense, you saw me this morning,” Lucius sneered.
“No need for scornful comments, Lucius, the lady is glad to see you,” I nodded to Narcissa, my gaze falling to her ample bosom, which heaved in her dress with every delicate breath that escaped her red lips. Ah, how wonderful it would be to make her cry my name out in front of Lucius – that would show that bastard what a real man could do to his wife.
“Indeed Lucius, please, look at least satisfied to see me,” she gently lifted his chin with her index finger.
Taking her hand, Lucius turned her gloved hand over and kissed her palm, “You’re right Narcissa, I can’t stay angry at someone as lovely as you,” he smiled slyly, as his gaze met mine, bastard wanted me to feel bad that he had a beautiful wife and I remained alone.
“Right, well, I’ll be back in a moment,” rising from my seat once again, I nodded to both Narcissa and Lucius and re-entered the manor to open that letter.
In two weeks will be a charity ball – west London.
The point is, it’s for a muggle organization, and I have been invited because I invest money into the organization secretly.
Lucius doesn’t know, and wouldn’t approve, therefore, I have no one to go with, and I have two passes.
I’m asking you to go with me, it’s because I trust you won’t tell Lucius, and I cannot trust any of his other ‘friends’.
I hope you accept this offer.
P.S. It’s a masquerade.
With all my love,
N. Malfoy
I read it to myself over and over again, I couldn’t believe what she had written – she trusted me to go with her to a charity ball? And not inform Lucius. I must reply as soon as I can, but I’d prefer to speak to her in private. I didn’t have much time though, I was in the upstairs lounge of the manor, and Lucius was expecting me down at any moment.
“Severus,” her gentle voice distracted my thoughts.
“Narcissa,” I turned to look at her, she was standing by the staircase, watching me intently.
“Reading my letter are you?” she asked, coming closer, “are you available to come?”
“Very,” I said back, taking her hand into mine, “any chance I could see you this weekend?” I asked, hoping she would say yes.
“I don’t think I can, but I can only try,” she stepped closer and stood right against me, arching her hips forwards. I was becoming aroused, the fact that Lucius was downstairs forced me to hold back, “don’t worry Severus, Lucius is too busy commanding the house elves, to,” she leaned in and pressed her lips against mine, then pulling away she whispered, “pay attention,” then once again she rested her lips on mine. I responded to her kiss, and found myself running my fingertips down her back and back up again.
I pulled away, “Though I hate to depart from you, I have obligations at Hogwarts,” I let go of her hand, and turned to look at her one more time – there was no smile on my face, just a look of longing …hinghing would stop me from having her, she was everything to me.
I had a masquerade to look forward to – I never was one for parties … but for Narcissa, I would go, I had no intention of displeasing her.
To Be Continued.
