Chapter Ten: When Two Become One.

Hermione smiled and she hugged Serena in greeting as she finally decided to let herself believe that she was Serena's daughter and Blaise chuckled as he slapped Draco on the back and Pansy gave Draco a thumbs up. Serena smirked but said not a word as they went to the entrance hall to leave for Hogsmeade and Severus was doing the checkpoint and Serena winked at him when she passed by. Severus let the corner of his mouth smile a moment then directed his attention to a third year who seemed didn't have a permission form and began to tell him that he wasn't permitted.

Severus sighed as he walked and he saw the group ahead of him and he stayed back a bit scaring a fourth year Gryffindor and he just looked the young man up and down as he had been coming back from Hogsmeade and a chocolate frog dropped from his pocket. He bent down and handed it to him without a word and the kid stood frozen as Severus continued on walking.
