Chapter Nine
(The Art of Deception)
“It’s like the sorting hat ceremony.” Hermione whispered excitedly to Harry who agreed.
The second day in and they were being selected into section.
Harry hoped for acting.
“Hermione Granger and Pansy Parkinson…you are in the drama section.” The professor said, pointing to the group of future thespians standing by the stage.
Hermione gave Harry a small smile; she knew he wanted to be in the drama section.
The professor wrote two more names down, the process tedious, but she need to make sure they were in the right groups.
“Blaise Zabini, Seamus Finnigan, and Harry Potter…you guys are in the music section.” She nodded and turned her quill to those standing by the grand piano.
Harry tilted his head to the side, really music? He can’t sing. Sighing, he picked himself up and headed where the others went.
Looking up from her list, she smiled widely at the last three people.
“That means, Ron Weasley, Draco Malfoy, and Neville Longbottom…welcome to the dance section.”
Ron eyes widen. “Professor, I cannot dance!” The red head said.
She patted the poor boy on the shoulder. “Mr. Weasley, I said the same thing when I first learned how to dance. Trust me, once you get comfortable you will learn fast.” She explained to him in a reassurance tone.
The look Ron gave her said it all.
Disbelief
“Don’t give me that look, Mr. Weasley. One time my partner gave me that look during our recital and it made me angry.”
“What happened?” Lavender Brown asked, curious about their professor. She was the only one who actually recognized her as the famous performer while everyone looked at the girl in confusion.
She turned to the girl and smiled. “I threw him off the stage and he broke his leg.” She simply said, turning to Ron with a huge, frightening smile that made her look a little...craze.
Ron’s eyes widen.
This lady was crazy.
