Crash and burn

Lucius smiled and said, "Will you sit with me?"

Draco nodded. He pulled up a chair by Severus' side of the bed. He knew that if Harry could not be here than it was better if he was there.

Illyana walked into the room with one vial of potion. She walked over to Severus' side of the bed and sighed. She picked up his hand and cut it.

Lucius said, "How did you get the potion done so fast? You said that it will take a few days to brew. How is it done?"

Illyana smiled and said, "To the potion it has been a few days. With a time spell that is."

Draco said, "What are you doing?"

Illyana sighed and said, "I need his blood added to this potion so that he will not die when he is given this potion."

Draco nodded.

Illyana looked at Lucius with sadness in her eyes. She said, "This potion will not work for Angel. Angel is too powerful for this potion. All we can hope for is that his magical core is strong enough to pull him out."

Illyana shook the blood into the vial. She said, "Now Lucius, I need you to hold my mother's legs while I give him this potion."

Lucius nodded and grabbed Severus' legs. He said, "Lyana let Draco hold his arms down."

Illyana nodded and said, "That will be best. I was going to ask him to do it anyway."

Draco said, "I will do it." He grabbed Severus' arms and held them on the bed. He wondered about why this would need to be done with this potion.

Illyana answered Draco's unasked question, "It will hold him steady for when the potion takes effect he will become extremely animated and fight with us. His mind will not know that the danger to your sister has passed." She then tilted Severus' head back. She openned his mouth and poured the potion into his mouth. She closed his mouth and massaged his throat to aid his swallowing.

The reaction was immediate. Severus screamed and fought to move his arms and legs.

Illyana whispered to Severus, "Mother calm down. You are alright. You are safe. I am here. Your little Yana is alright."

Severus groaned, "Yana... is Anna alright? Please.... tell ..... me ..... that..... she....... is.....safe."

Lucius said, "You protected her from that spell, Sev. You, however, worried your daughter and granddaughter with that stunt. Next time try to get out of the way from a spell that no one but your daughter knows what will happen."

Severus tried to laugh but it came out as a cough. He winced in pain and felt the pain then weaken. He turned his head and noticed that Angel was laying beside him. He said, "What happened to Ange?"

Illyana said, "He was hit by the endure of the organ destruction spell. It bounced off him and hit you. You will feel weak for about a few days."

Severus said, "What did you use to save me?"

Illyana said, "Blood curing potion. It is a potion that you designed in the other time that you sent me too before you died."

Severus said, "Can you use it to fix Ange?" He gasped as Illyana shook her head. He looked at her and said, "Why not?"

Lucius answered, "Angel is just too powerful for the potion to work on him. I am sure that he will defeat this spell."

Harry pushed open the door to Severus' chambers. He heard the whimpering in the other room and walked into the guest room. He grabbed Brianna and said, "You must be protected. Your mother must die. The dark lord is wanting to raise you as his own daughter. I will not allow that. Your father is cruel."

The baby started screaming.

Draco walked out of the bedroom. He said, "Harry, what are you doing with my sister?"

Harry said, "Albus is going to protect this baby from your father." He gasped as the baby started to cry and was gone from his arms. He walked back to the crib only to be thrown away by a shield that blasted him away from the crib.

Illyana walked into the room and said, "If you know what is good for you, then stay away from my baby. I feel that she will not be so nice next time."

Another voice said, "Harry, do not do this. The baby must stay with her family."

Harry said, "Sirius. Where did you come from?"

Lucius said, "He was needed by Severus and the nights. I agree with them. Stay away from my daughter."

Harry looked at the three of them and said, "Albus told me that the baby must be raised away from you Malfoy. She must be taken away from Severus and her father. They will use her to kill me."

Illyana growled, "Albus is playing with my family for one too many times and I am afraid that the recruitment must be placed on hold for the dark nights. We will leave as soon as Angel is fit to travel to Prince manor. Lucius, you must pull out Draco from this school."

Lucius nodded. He said, "I doubt that he wants to stay if his brother and sister are not here. We will teach them all they need to know about magic."

Severus limped into the room and heard that his family was going to leave. He said, "You can not leave me, Yana."

Illyana turned to Severus and said, "I have no intention of leaving you mother. You are no longer a teacher here. Albus made it so you are not safe here at all." She turned to Harry and said, "You are ready for the last show of my power that you will ever see. I have never used this magic on another human before."

Harry looked stunned and turned to run out of the room. He heard Severus call his name and stopped.

Illyana's eyes turned black and she said, "Re-dest-ra-tate!"

Harry gasped and said, "What happened to me?"

Lucius said, "Albus is controlling your actions. You are doing nothing. We will stop him and protect you. You must also leave with us tonight. You can owl your friends and say your goodbyes."

Illyana said, "The spell I had to use is one that requires another person to work as your control factor. Like Lucius is mine. Someone is yours. I wonder who that is."
