Author's note 2

I have read the reviews and I will answer a few questions:

1) How did Dumbledore manage to follow Harry at the Fairgrounds? why was he allowed at the reading of the will?

Well the unbreakable vow stated if Dumbledore actively sought out Harry he would lose his magic. Dumbledore and the Weasleys along with the Malfoys were present because they were mentioned in one or more of the wills. When Dumbledore talked ( well tried to) to Harry after James' will was read he was not actively seeking Harry out because he was already there.

Dumbledore at the Fairigrounds noticeably did not talk to Harry or go to him. He did run after the Weasleys however as he was following them. He did not actively seek out Hary per se, he was simply following "the yellow bricked road". If he was simply following the Weasleys and it led him 'innocently' to Harry he could not be breaking the bond as he was not actively seeking Harry out. Dumbledore is taking advantage of the loophole and if he didn't it would make him less than he is : a manipulative old bastard who dresses in color schemes that hurt the eyes.

2) Do the Weasleys have to give the money back? Why did they get left money by Sirius?

The answer to the first question is no. Neville said that the Weasleys lucked out twice. When Harry's monies were seized by the Ministry they were seized through legal means (although remember they were stretching the definition of legal). This means the money that was seized entered the Ministry coffers after seizure thereby making it Ministry money. It was then that the Weasleys were given their 30 million galleons. Say the Weasleys were given the money before it was put into the Ministey coffers the goblins would have taken the money away from the Weasleys as it would have been blatantly ill gotten. However, once it entered Ministry coffers it was no longer considered Potter money even though technically it was.

Now to part 2: I know plenty of you are like - Come on!!!! I can't believe Sirius left those red-headed bastards anything- but remember how and when Remus and Sirius died. Sirius or Remus did not know that James had done a will. Since one had not appeared since the Potters deaths both men just assumed James and Lily did not give one to Gringotts. Both men died thinking the Weasleys, Granger, and Dumbledore (along with the rest of the OoTP) were close friends and allies of Harry. Both men never knew what Dumbledore did to them or Harry. Hence that is why Sirius left the Weasleys, Dumbledore, and Granger money. A will does not have hindsight unfortunately nor can the dead speak in my story in order to change legal documents. (FYI: Remus was receiving serious monetary help from Sirius once he was released from Azkaban and that is how he survived cuz Wolfsbane is $$$)

3) Why didn't Harry get wizard's vows from the Malfoys so they would keep their mouth shut?

It would not have made a difference. Harry if the Lord of three houses and a such has the three votes in the House of Lords in British Wizengamot ( and mayb other places .....I am on the fence about that). Once he accepts his lordship he ( or rather Mr. Deffold) would have to contact the Minister. The Minister counts as more than one vote because of one rule. He has the power to use defunct seats (well only for 250 years until the magic within the family crest dissipates and then is considered an officially dead family) or seats of minors if their magical guardians do not wish to use the seat or in cases when the head of house is unavailable and there is not an heir (as was the case with House Black). Cornelius used the votes of the Blacks and the Tremaynes. Dumbledore had used the Potter vote since he was Harry's magical guardian (Dumbledore does not have a lordship vote;however, he is the leader of the Wizengamot's counterpart of the House of Commons along with his many other positions). Anyways my point is the entire Ministry would have known so it would not have even been a secret for long. Hence no sense in a wizard's vow that would not even last a day or two.

About the life debts..........I have not forgotten.....the only thing I am on the fence about is the one for Snape (but you shall see what comes in future chapters)

Malfoy, Tremayne, Wischard, Delacour, Weasley.....I am sure no one can guess my next move but please try

THANKS FOR THE REVIEWS.....AND IF YOU HAVEN'T PLEASE DO........
