*Magic/Wyatt talking*
Malfoy Manor
Narcissa Malfoy was wiping her son, Draco’s brow again. Last night was terrible for them both. Not many knew that she came from a Dark Elf heritage and had past it on to her son. Making Draco a half-Elf. She didn’t know what to do. But what she did know was that her little dragon wasn’t going to follow that monster.
And that Demon, Artemis wanted her baby as his sex slave. Well she wasn’t about to let that thing touch him. When she had confronted her ‘husband’ Lucius, he just told her to let the Demon have him. All for the cause he’d said. She had thought the man was siding with the Light. She was wrong Lucius was on his own side and her dragon was going to pay the price. If she didn’t get him away from them. At this point she wished that Potter was still alive.
She remember the will reading, well what Draco had told her. And she couldn’t figure out why Potter had left anything to Draco. Unless, he wasn’t really dead. Narcissa needed to get in touch with that Goblin that dealt with the Potter Estates. Then maybe her dragon would be safe. If Potter had cheated death.
“Mother,” came the hoarse voice of Draco as he opened his eyes.
“My little Dragon, you need to get up and cleaned. We have somewhere to be.” Narcissa stated with passion, before helping her son off the bed.
“What?” Draco whispered, he still hurt from that damnable curse last night. But when he received no answer and was pushed into his bathroom rather quickly. He decided that whatever his Mother had planned was more important then his questions.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A hour later both Narcissa and Draco Malfoy were seated in a Goblin office awaiting the Manager of Potter’s Estates, Griphook.
“Lady Malfoy , Heir Malfoy what brings you here today?” snarled Griphook as he entered his office and sat behind his desk. He really didn’t want to deal with them today. Whatever brought them here couldn’t be more important than his meeting with Aiden Kage.
“In need my son safe. And I need to get him out of Britain and away from the Demons. I refuse to let my son become a sex slave. It’s times like these I wish Mr. Potter was still alive. If he was I would have gone to him first.” Narcissa Malfoy stated with determination.
Griphook was speechless. This wasn’t what he thought would be their reasons for demanding a meeting with him. He wasn’t the Goblin of the Malfoy’s.
“And what do you think I can do?” Griphook stated he really wanted to know what lengths the Lady Malfoy would go to save her son.
Narcissa was getting ready to speak when Draco bet her to it. “Please Master Goblin, help us. I can’t, no I won’t let that Demon touch me. If you can’t help then just say so. And we’ll leave and try another way.”
Griphook could see they really were determined to get help. Well, I guess Aiden won’t mind me being late for that meeting. He thought as he sent a note to the American Branch of Gringotts. Informing them that he was going to be an hour or two late for the meeting with Aiden Kage. And to inform him of this change of schedule.
“Very well, I’ll help you. Do you have any property in California?”
“No, Master Goblin the Malfoy’s have no property there. The Blacks do, but I will not go to my cousin and ask sanctuary. Sirius wouldn’t give it even if I swallowed my pride and graveled.” Narcissa stated with sadness.
“No, I don’t see Lord Black lending you and your son a property for safety. Especially after what he’d done to Ai…Harry Potter.” Griphook winced inside at his slip up. He hoped that they didn’t catch that. But from the look on their faces they had.
“Who was that Ai… something Master Goblin?” chuckled Draco with a small smile. Harry’s alive He thought as he watched the Goblin before him.
Griphook was caught. He was going to have to bring them with him to meet Aiden Kage. And maybe Aiden would allow them sanctuary in the Penthouse property he had in Magical/Muggle division. “Heir Malfoy, Lady Malfoy before we go further. I need to know if you believed Mr. Potter capable of murder?”
“Of course not, Mr. Potter may be many things. But that boy didn’t have a bad bone in his body. Like I said before if Mr. Potter was still here, we would have went to him first.” Lady Malfoy stated as Draco nodded in agreement.
“Very well, let’s get your money transferred to the American Branch of Gringotts. The money that is not linked with Lord Malfoy’s. And Lady Malfoy I must insist that you also leave the country.” Griphook demanded as he began the transfer.
Narcissa wasn’t sure if that was a good idea. Yes she wanted her son safe. But if they both left, she was afraid that Lucius would try and follow. “I’m not sure if my leaving would be a safe idea?”
“Mother! You have to go with me. I don’t know anything about America. Please, please Mother!” wailed Draco as he held her tightly.
“Lady Malfoy, I wasn’t giving you the choice. You stay and you’ll die. It seems as if your son shares my thoughts.” Griphook snarled again as he sent the transfer papers to the Kage vault for safety. “I have just sent your transfer papers to the Kage vault for safety purpose’s. Have no fear you will meet Lord Kage shortly. Bare in mind he can’t stand Magical Britain, so be polite. If this meeting between you goes well. Then you both will be staying at one of his properties.”
Both Narcissa and Draco were in agreement. This Lord Kage must be what Harry Potter was going by in America. And they would be truthful as possible with him. They didn’t care if it was him. Just that he consented to help them.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It had been months since Aiden had his first meeting with the King of Magic. Since then they had set aside one evening a week to meet. And during that time they would learn more about one another. Aiden had yet tell Wyatt of his former name. But soon he would have too. Their relationship was turning into more than friendship. And he didn’t want to get farther without all the cards on the table. At least in Aiden’s point of view.
Looking at his clock he realized his meeting with Griphook would be in 30 minutes and he needed to leave. So with another letter sent to King Wyatt about their next meeting , he transported out of his castle and into the meeting room at Gringotts.
“Lord Kage, Griphook will be with you shortly.” announced Goblin Mantock as he entered the meeting room.
“Thank you Mantock for informing me of his arrival.” Aiden stated with a small bow.
“Welcome” Mantock smirked as he bowed leaving the room.
Aiden sat in shock as Griphook entered the room with two others. He couldn’t believe it, Griphook had moved their meeting for the Malfoy’s. What are they doing here? he thought as they sat down across from him.
“Lord Kage, I apologies for moving this meeting. But as you can see we have more to discuss today. And before I answer your many questions. I have one of my own. How has your correspondence with the King of Magic been?”
Aiden couldn’t stop the faint blush that graced his cheeks. Damn you Griphook he thought as he willed the blush away. “As well as to be expected my friend.” Aiden responded with narrowed eyes. He was going to get his Manager back for this. Oh yes he was.
“That’s excellent Aiden, my friend. And I know that look, I’ll be watching my back. I assure you. Now the reason Lady and Heir Malfoy are here. They have asked for Sanctuary from Britain. And was hoping that you could provide it.” Griphook announced. He wasn’t sure if Aiden would grant it without the King of Magic’s knowledge.
“Griphook, I can’t just grant sanctuary for people of Britain. At least not without the King of Magic’s approval. And you know it!” snarled Aiden as he waved his arms around in fustration.
Draco and his mother were looking back and forth between them. Draco was completely certain now that this Aiden Kage was Harry Potter. And when he was about to say so. The air crackled with magic. The sound of thunder and lightning entered the room. When it vanished there in the room stood one of the most beautiful men that Draco had ever seen. Long blonde hair and blue eyes and a strong stature.
Griphook and Aiden went to their knees, head bowed. For standing in the room was the King of Magic himself, Wyatt. Draco and Narcissa didn’t know what to do. So they remained in their seats. And watched as the man touched both Aiden and Griphook making them stand.
“Neither of you need bow before me. I was informed of your arrival Master Goblin and that you had brought two others as well. And wanted to make sure they were not a threat to what is mine.” Wyatt stated strongly as he looked pointedly at Aiden then the others.
Aiden just rolled his eyes at the proclaimation. He had already figured that the King wanted more than friendship from him. For some reason it didn’t bother him as he thought it would.
“My King, the Lady and Heir Malfoy have come with me. In hopes to gain Sanctuary on American soil. And if Lord Kage is willing offer them a place to stay.” Griphook stated regally.
When Wyatt heard the names of the outsiders his eye’s narrowed. Malfoy that was the name of one of those wizards that received an alliance with the Demons he thought with anger.
“Why would I allow sanctuary to the family that gained an alliance with the Demon Counsel.” Wyatt snarled as his magic began to turn the room to ice.
Aiden shivered, this was one of the things that had always bothered him. Wyatt’s magic making him cold when he was in a mood. So without a word he moved to Wyatt’s side and wrapped his arms around him.
When Wyatt felt his mate’s arms around him. His magic disapated and the room warmed. With out letting Aiden go, he turned to the Malfoy’s demanding why he should let them stay. When it was one of their own family that caused the mess in the first place.
“Because we, meaning my son and I don’t want anything to do with what my ’husband’ has planned. He is out for himself and has agreed to let some Demon named Artemis have my Draco as a sex slave.” Narcissa announced with her hand bowed in sadness.
“Mother of Magic, Wyatt” Aiden whispered as he looked up at him. Still encased in the man’s arms.
Wyatt said nothing, he looked up at the Malfoy’s as his eye’s glowed white with power. Narcissa and Draco felt as though they were being judged. And judged they were. But not by Wyatt, no they were being judged by Magic herself.
*They are not human childling. The woman is a Dark Elf and the young man is Half-Elf, Half-Wizard. *
*Are they safe to grant sanctuary?*Wyatt asked Magic as he tightened his grip on his mate. He didn’t care what the other’s thought. He wanted to keep what was his as well as the innocents safe at all costs.
*The Halfling yes. The full Elf no. And it is not the full Elf’s fault it is the fault of the ‘husband’.*
*Then she shall not gain sanctuary.* Wyatt snarled.
*No childling you will grant both or neither. The woman is still bound to her ‘husband’ and must be released of that bond. Then she is safe to grant sanctuary.*
The Malfoy’s were scared while they watched the King stare at them. They felt they were not going to pass the judgement. Especially Narcissa for she was still bound to Lucius. And Draco was afraid they would have to leave again. And he would be forced into servitude to that Demon.
*Fine, I can’t let the Halfling become a slave. It is not in me, I’ll grant them stay. Under guard of course.* Wyatt sighed to Magic.
*Of course childling (laughing). Make sure to remove the Elf’s bond* Magic hummed
*Granted*Wyatt stated, before he blinked and his eyes returned to normal. He looked down at Aiden with a sad smile. He didn’t want to intrude on his privacy. But if he allowed them to stay with him, then Wyatt would have to send his guards.
Aiden seen the smile and his eyes widened. He wasn’t sure if that meant he wasn’t granting the Malfoy’s sanctuary or something else. So he returned the smile and lowered his head to await the decision.
“I will grant you sanctuary. On several conditions.” Wyatt stated as he lead Aiden to a seat. Once his mate was seated he claimed one for himself.
“And those are?” Narcissa asked in nervousness. While she held her son’s hand tightly.
“One, you Lady Malfoy must have your marriage annulled. Two you will consent to having four guards in your presence at all times. Three I must be made aware if either of you are leaving my soil at any time. I care not if you’re out and about in the Magical or Non- Magical communities.” royally stated Wyatt, as he looked upon the whole group.
“So my son and I will not have space to breath and live our lives in peace?” Narcissa whispered as she looked at her lap.
“This is the law of Avalon granting Sanctuary. I guarantee you that if you went before the Secretary of Magic she would not grant any freedoms. At least with me, you will have some freedom. It is for your safety as well as my peoples.” replied Wyatt, he knew this wasn’t what the two wanted but with one of their own making that contract he couldn’t give them more.
“Lady and Heir Malfoy this is the only way to remain safe. His Magesity is correct, his way is safest for you. If Lord Malfoy comes searching for you.” Griphook stated calmly.
“And where will we stay?” Draco asked softly as he looked between Griphook, Wyatt and Aiden.
Aiden closed his eyes. He knew what he was about to do. And he didn’t want someone in his business. “With me.”
Wyatt gasped. I knew this was going to happen he thought as he looked upon Aiden in question. “Why Aiden, you’ve always wanted your private life, just that private. Think about this Aiden, four guards that will be in your home. 24/7 not a moments peace you shall have. I don’t want you getting angry at my guards or me.”
Aiden and the others felt the last thought. And Aiden smiled widely, he couldn’t help it. It was nice to have someone that cared. That really cared about him and not what he could do for them. “I trust your guards to stay out of my study and my way!”
Wyatt bowed his head in defeat. Before he raised it eyes cold toward the Malfoy’s. “You Lady Malfoy will first sign the papers for divorce from Griphook, so he can take them back and file them in Britain. That way when your ‘husband’ starts looking, he’ll start on that soil. Then we will take the next step.” Turning to Aiden he stated softly, “We need to discuss which guards you feel comfortable with. And then I’ll send them to you later this day.”
Aiden nodded in agreement. He could tell Wyatt didn’t like this, not one bit. And truth be told neither did he. But he couldn’t send them back. Not when they had done so much to get to him. Oh he figured they had realized who he was. But he wanted to tell Wyatt on his own. And made a decision to let the Malfoy’s know under no circumstances were they to call him Potter.
“It’s done your Magesity. And Lord Kage I take it you’d like to set another meeting with me on matters that we needed to discuss before this unknown circumstance arose?” Griphook asked.
“Yes, my friend set up another meeting for a week from now, if you would.” Aiden stated with strength. As he turned to look at the Malfoy’s . Then he stood and headed to the corner of the room, waiting for Wyatt to join him.
“Are you certain about allowing them to stay with you. I can always take them to Avalon.” snarled Wyatt as he grabbed Aiden by the arm.
“And if you did take them. They would be under more guard, would they not?” Aiden hissed as he narrowed his eyes. The look in Wyatt’s eyes gave him the answer. That yes Wyatt would have them guarded more. But there was something else in those blue eyes. He doesn’t trust me, to keep them out of trouble.
“You don’t trust me? After everything you still don’t trust me.” gasped Aiden as he pulled away, his eyes full of hurt.
“That’s not it. It’s them I don’t trust Aiden. You I trust, even though you have still not told me everything about your past. I would trust you with my life. You’re mine.” Wyatt snarled as he grabbed him again.
“And I fear they will cause you harm.” Wyatt whispered in Aiden’s ear after he had him back in his arms.
“If you trust me. Then trust that I can keep myself safe. And if I feel unsafe at anytime, trust that I will inform you.” Aiden stated as he looked into those blue eyes. Those eyes that spoke without words. Those eyes that belonged to the man that Aiden feared he was falling in love with.
“Very well,” Wyatt stated as he pulled away and orbed out to find the guards that would be needed.
“Damn it, Malfoy you always seem to be causing me unneeded trouble.” growled Aiden at Draco as he paced the room pulling his hair out of the braid.
“Potter” awed Draco as he watched the other man pace the room.
“No shit, and that will remain in this room. After we leave I will only be known as Lord Kage. You can call me Aiden or Kage. I don’t care, but under no circumstances will you or you my Lady call me Potter. Do I make myself clear!” demanded Aiden as he walked up to both Malfoy’s in aggravation.
“Crystal, Lord Kage” came the calm and collected voice of Narcissa Malfoy as he smiled at the power the young man was demonstrating. Draco gave a sharp nod that he understood what was expected of him.
“We done Griphook, my friend?” Aiden asked softly to the Goblin.
“Yes, my friend for today. And some advise Aiden.” Griphook replied waiting to get the young man’s attention back unto him. When he had it he continued, “Tell the King, who you really are. And soon.” He really needs to, their magic is already starting to mix he thought as he waited for a response.
“I will my friend, when I’m ready. Not before.” was the response from Aiden as he grabbed both Malfoy’s and activated his portkey to Evan’s Castle. Leaving Griphook alone in the meeting room.
“The King doesn’t know what he’s got. You Harry Potter are one of the kindest and most understanding wizards this world has ever seen.” Griphook stated to the silent room before leaving back to Britain. He had a lot of work to be done.
