Albus
Albus Dumbledore was in an exceptionally good mood as he walked quickly up the path to the Granger residence. He had managed to steal some Vertiserum from Snape’s storeroom. Today he was going to have his answers about Harry Potter once and for all. He was tired of the girl denying him. He could not believe how stubborn she was. Her mother was so weak. Sephonie was the easiest one of them all to control.
She had no will of her own. She merely did what she was instructed to do. Then again, Sephonie was kept in isolation her entire life. Only he and his house-elf Moron had ever seen her. That had to be why Hermione was so stubborn. She had been raised in relatively normal circumstances. Perhaps he should have never allowed her to be educated.
Women got strange ideas when they learned more than was necessary. They actually thought that their opinions were important! They actually believed their bodies were their own… yes he would have to remove Hermione from school. Hmm. With her talent with curses he would have to break her wand. Ah! No matter he would just have to kill her muggle “parents” first to make it look like Voldemort had kidnapped the girl then place her in the same prison as her mother was locked in.
Then Harry Potter would be demoralized and act rashly becoming easier to manipulate into either killing Riddle or being killed by him. It was so simple. He just wished that the girl had excelled in Divination. Then she would be able to be a much more useful seer than Sybil.
That woman’s theatrics were horrible. How he had gotten by so long without killing her is something he couldn’t understand. However, Albus knew he had to keep her alive incase she would spout another prophecy. She had given 3 now. The first was the reason he had killed the Potters. The second was last year when Voldemort had returned to life. But the third was the one he had Oblivated from her mind completely, repeatedly. She kept giving the same prophecy. It was vastly annoying.
When the three stand opposed against the badger and the snake binds the lion and the raven,
Then destiany shall be revealed and the chosen shall find the founder’s haven.
Then the greatest weapon of all shall be at their call.
The first time he had heard this prophecy was when she was in school. She was a seventh year serving detention for something or another when she said it. Albus quickly erased it from her mind. Then she gave it again after the prophecy about the Potters, then still again last month.
But there was a weapon that was hidden somewhere that would allow him to be even more than he was now. However he was having trouble finding the bloodlines. He was never one to study them in the first place. He needed more time. Good thing he had something Tom Riddle would do anything for.
He opened the door to the Granger residence. “Jean! Richard! Daddy’s home!”
