Lost Mark

Wow finally starting the next chapter of Lost Mark. To the reviewer who stayed up till one am to read my story. I’m sorry if this chapter did not come out fast enough for you. My Muse has been teasing me with other things. Though it seems I may finally be running out of HP fanfic ideas… The horror that that is, but I know all I need to do is reread the books. Though to do that past the first three I have to place them on hold at my library… Hmm… though there is that idea and the few Harry Salazar idea’s people have been coming up with… No I will not start more till I finish one of the 5 I am presently writing… Anyway on with the chapter, and I think their will be a Harry/Voldie smut scene somewhere within the next 3 chapters of this… Probably right before Harry goes back to Hogwarts.

Sirius paced within Severus’ family home. The Black eyed black haired man watching each of the black haired blue eyed mans movements. Remus and Tonks soon joined the two of the in the living rooms and shook their heads at Sirius’ impatience.

“Severus how long till I can go see my Godson?” Sirius actually whined at Severus. Severus just smirked a bit and shook his head.

“Most likely tonight after the Dark Lord takes him to Italy for dinner.” Severus stated calmly. Sirius stared at Severus as he said that then sighed as he sat down next to the man he had treated so badly. Without thinking much about it he placed his head on the other mans lap and sighed happily as Severus ran his fingers through Sirius’ hair.

“Do you think me and Tonks can also have that chance soon Severus?” Remus asked softly his arm around the female auror. Tonks had not quit her job as an auror and had actually continued going to the order of the phoenix meetings same as Severus. Both were now just gathering information for what they knew was truly the right side of this war.

“I will speak with him but he’s very scared of someone turning his mate against him. He will allow Sirius because of the relationship between me and Sirius. I think Draco is also being brought in to be a friend to the boy.” Severus said softly. Sirius raised an eyebrow at the idea of Harry and Draco getting along.

“Is that a good idea? I mean Draco and Harry have been rivals a long time. I doubt that his being the Dark Lords mate will change it that much.” Sirius said softly. Severus smirked then laughed.

“Now normally I would agree with you Sirius, except for one little thing. Harry knows quite a bit about Ginerva Weasley. Ginerva Weasley is Draco’s mate.” Severus pointed out. Sirius frowned in thought then nodded.

“Draco would willingly let go a rivalry like the one he has with Harry if it gives him information on the one meant for him.” Sirius said in understanding then nuzzled closer to Severus. Remus chuckled watching his friend act like a love sick puppy.

“So how long till you two need to get ready for the meeting you have this evening?” Remus decided to ask. Severus looked at Remus with annoyance as Sirius grabbed the closest couch cushion and threw it at the werewolf. Tonks began to laugh at Remus’ put on expression before slipping up next to him to kiss his cheek.

“Don’t interrupt my cuddle time!” Sirius pouted causing the entire room to start laughing. In the end Sirius and Severus had been able to get along surprisingly well and Remus was enjoying teasing his friend about it. Severus on the other hand was looking healthier and far happier. His sour unapproachable potion master façade was finally gone.

“Come on Sirius we do have to be ready. We want to be at the Dark Lord’s manor before Harry and him get back from the date.” Severus pointed out with a slight frown. Sirius pouted but finally pulled away from Severus.

“Oh fine be a spoil sport.” Sirius grumped a bit as he headed to the shared room he and Severus had. Remus glanced at Tonks with a slight smirk.

“It still surprises me how quickly those two actually got together.” Remus murmured to Tonks. Tonks shrugged a bit with a smile.

“You know how badly Sirius wanted to meet with his mate. It didn’t matter who it was in the end.” Tonks pointed out as Remus nuzzled into Tonk’s neck.

“True and now I hope to soon have my own mate.” Remus murmured causing Tonk’s cheeks to flush a bit. Tonks pulled a bit away from Remus to look into his amber eyes as her hair went from the bright pink it presently was to a muted brown.

“And who is your mate Remus?” Tonks asked softly one hand timidly reaching out to cup his cheek.

“You are my darling Nymphadora Tonks.” Remus said softly grabbing onto her and pulling her close to his body with a slight smile on his lips.

Harry was hugging tightly onto Tom as the two of them left the restaurant. Tom was smiling brightly down at his mate as Harry sighed and snuggled into the older man. Tom smiled then sighed as he thought over the upcoming year. He had to get Harry into the old coot’s good graces and the only way would be to badly hurt the boy something he could never do willingly.

“What’s wrong Tom?” Harry asked feeling the older mans distraction. Tom looked down at Harry then softly sighed and hugged the boy tightly. He didn’t want to bring up the trouble of sending him back.

“Harry have you thought on how or what will be necessary in order for you to return to Hogwarts without to much suspicion?” He asked softly. Harry suddenly smirked into Tom’s grip then laughed softly.

“Don’t worry about it Tom. I know what will be necessary and in this step you can make Severus even more trusted by Dumbles.” Harry pointed out causing Tom to blink in shock. Tom sighed a moment before Apparating the two of them back to his home.

“I never realized you would have already thought this out.” Tom said softly actually feeling inadequate. Harry smiled at the taller man then sighed giving a slight shrug.

“I couldn’t help it. The headmaster knows you have me in your clutches, but he doesn’t know I am your mate. We can’t let him find that out either. If he did it would be to dangerous for me and you.” Harry pointed out. Tom nodded slowly walking along the path that led towards his manor.

“Far to true Harry, I just wish there was a safe way to return you as you are so that I do not cause my name to be even worse than it already is.” Tom pointed out as he hoped Severus was already within with his surprise for Harry.

“Maybe there is a way. Give me some time to think about it. A game like none any Slytherin has ever played.” Harry said softly frowning in deep thought. Tom frowned as he opened the front door to the manor for Harry.

“Hmm maybe it will work. Think it through then tell me what you come up with. I would prefer not to torture you after all.” Tom said and smiled as Harry just suddenly hugged him. Tom smiled at Harry’s touch and silently sighed. He so wished to claim his mate but now was not the time.

“So am I being taken back to my room?” Harry asked not really wanting to be stuck back in those chambers yet. Tom actually smiled and shook his head slowly.

“No not at all Harry. You are coming with me to my study. I am expecting a couple people to be there. One of which I have some business with.” Tom said with a slight smile. Harry frowned a bit at Tom’s words and realized the man would have to be among those that knew the truth about Harry and Tom.

“Okay, it will be nice going into a different room for once.” Harry said causing Tom to chuckle softly.

“I keep you in those rooms for your own safety Harry. I couldn’t stand it if something were to happen to you.” Tom explained with an unrepentant shrug. Harry smirked a bit seeing Tom’s reaction to his words and Tom’s explanation for it. The two were soon walking into Tom’s study. Within the study stood two familiar men. One was Harry’s potion professor the other looked like is godfather.
