Chapter 10

It was a week before the Halloween ball. Hermione was still getting sick and she assumed she was pregnant because she missed her period. Her cycle was normal. She was never late, she always got it right on time.

It was a crisp day and the ground was covered in gold, red and orange leaves. Harry, Hermione, Ron and Ginny were all walking to Hogsmead village to pick up costumes for Halloween. Draco had decided to stay behind because he told them he was weak from his Ragus Blood condition.


The foursome just stepped out of Honeydukes, sampling their newly bought sweets when the were interrupted by some unwelcome classmates.

"Well if it isn't Potter, Weasel, She Weasel and the Mudblood." sneered a dark haired, dark eyed Pansy Parkinson followed by Crabbe, Goyle and Millicent,

"Piss off, Parkinson, you and your kind arn't welcome here" said Harry.

"Neither are Mudbloods but they still walk the streets" she said back.

"Come on guys lets go, were losing precious time to something worthless" said Hermione as the group turned to walk away.

"I don't think so, revenge is sweet. CRUCIO!" said yelled Pansy as she held her wand pointing to Hermione.

The spell hit Hermione squarely in the back, causing her to hunch over foreward and clutch her stomace.

At the very moment, McGonnagall saw the attack happen and threw a stunning spell at Pansy, while Harry, Ron and Ginny tried to help Hermione.

" My baby!" yelled Hermione as she saw blood covering her pants. Tears gushed out of her eyes before she fell unconcious into Harrys arms.

"We have to get her to the Hospital!" yelled Ron nearly in tears.

"Ginny go back to school and get Draco. I'm bringing her to St. Mungos. Ron go tell McGonnagall and write to Hermione's parents." Harry yelled to them. Both nodded their heads and went to complete their tasks.

Harry ran into Honeydukes, Hermione in his arms, rushed into the fireplace, grabbed some floo powder and both were quickly whisked away to St. Mungo's Emergency Department.

Ginny ran as fast as she could to the Slytherin common room. She banged on the door until it got so annoyed it opened for her. She stepped into the deserted black green and silver commom room.

"Draco!" she called.

She heard mumbling coming from over by the bookcase.

She cautiously walked toward the mumbling sound.

"Draco?" she said loudly.

The mumbling was now louder by the time she stood right infront of the bookcase.

She pulled on the only red book on the shelf and the case opened.

She poked her head in to find Draco tied up to a chair with cloth over his mouth. He was very pale and had dark circles under his eyes.

Ginny ran to him and untied him and uncovered his mouth.

"Are you ok?" she asked.

"I've been here since September. He's been impersonating me. He... He... took her innocence away" he said quietly.

Ginny gasped.

"Who did this?" she asked.

Draco was about to answer when Ginny remembered why she was there.

"OMG! We have to get to St. Mungos. Hermione was cursed by Pansy!" she said grabbing his hand, bringing him to the fireplace and flooing to the hospital.

Draco and Ginny made a mad dash towards Harry and Ron who were in a waiting room.

"How is she?" asked a breathless Draco.

"I don't know. They won't tell us anything." he said angrily.

Draco went to the desk to speak to the nurse.

"I need to see Hermione Kensington, I'm her boyfriend." he said hurridly.

"I'm sorry, at this time only family is allowed to see her." she said.

"Please, I have to see her. I love her. I want to marry her." he confessed to the nurse.

"Fine, but only you the others will have to wait." she said as she pointed to Hermione's room.

Draco slowly walked into the room. Hermione was laying on the bed, looking out the window.

"Mione?" he said softly.

She looked to him and burst into tears.

He went over to the bed and took her in his arms.

"Its gone. I lost it." she sobbed.

"Mione, there's something you need to know." he said quietly.

She looked at him and saw he was pale thin and sickly looking.

"Whats the matter?" she asked.

"You remember the night I asked you to meet me in the RoR, well on my way there, I got stunned, and was held in a hidden dungeon until today, when Ginny found me." he said as tears threatened his eyes.

Hermione gasped and covered her mouth.

"He told me everything he did with you, took the one thing that I wanted. I felt so guilty I couldn't fight him off." he said.

"You mean, someone was impersonating you for the past month? " she asked crying.

Draco nodded.

"He was the one who made...."

Draco nodded again as a rear fell down his cheek.

"Oh Draco I'm so sorry." she wailed.

"Don't. Its not your fault he lied. You have nothing to be sorry about." he said as he held her in his arms.

"It's so obvious now. He was using Polyjuice Potion" she cried.

"Don't worry sweetie. I have all the proof we need to get him locked up in Azkaban. Kidnapping, Idenity Theft." he said.

"Draco, he got me pregnant. I lost it when Pansy cursed me. I think fate knew the truth." she said.

"Love you, my Mione" he said.

"Love you too, my Little Dragon." she replied.

The door to the room opened and Hermiones parents rushed in.

" Baby, are you ok?" asked Miranda as she hugged her daughter.

"I'm better. I got cursed and lost my baby." she said.

"What!" yelled David.

"Mom, Dad, sit down. Draco and I have to explian a few things to you." Hermione said.


After explaining the event, David was furious. God help that bastard who tainted his daughter.

" Who's the imposter, Draco?" asked Miranda.

Draco was about to speak when the door opened and in stepped, Draco Malfoy?

A/N lol a cliffy! don't worry you'll find out in the next chapter who this imposter is. I put a clue somewhere in this chapter that tells you something to do with the imposter. Lets she who pays attention. Please Review!
